About this house rental
** Due to damages from Hurricane Ian - the long walkway out to the beach was destroyed. There are steps out to the beach for now - we will extend at a later date. New seal wall has been put in place ** A beach escape like no other! Moree’s Beach Home is a 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom, 3 level ocean-front home located on Waccamaw Drive in Garden City, SC. A home in every aspect of the word, Moree’s boasts many wonderful features that set it apart from the average rentals and condos in the area.
Inlet views from the front porch and ocean views from the back porch!
Our private inlet boat/fishing dock across the street is also included and has extra parking for 1-2 vehicles.
From the ground level there is space to park up to 3 to 4 vehicles. Also, the ground level has 2 front stairways for easy access to the 2nd level, considered the main floor.
The main floor features a large family and entertainment room with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean
Moreover, the main room includes a dining area with full kitchen and access to 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Just to note, only 2 of the bedrooms have direct access to the back deck.
The second floor (3rd level) features 3 bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. One of the rooms includes a classic chess/checkers game table with chairs, library, and access to a private deck with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Just to note, this deck has a stairway leading down to the back deck for access to the private walkway.
Each bedroom is uniquely and beautifully decorated in a timeless southern style that makes you feel right at home. It makes a perfect setting for a family retreat or a get-away with close friends. Designed for relaxation, this home is truly a beach escape that you will never forget!

1) From Memorial Day to mid-August only weekly rentals are available and those would be from Sunday to Sunday.
2) Higher rates may apply during holidays.
3) NO PETS ALLOWED AT ALL and NO SMOKING!!
4) We do provide bed sheets, but we do not provide bath towels or wash cloths.

!. The downstairs sweeper was
packed with at least 2 months + of sand plus a lot of fibrous Material. We cleaned it out.
2. The downstairs queen mattress is only good for one person. You slide together in the center. My son had to buy a blowup bed and sleep on the floor beside his wife.
3. two upstairs smoke detectors questionable. one in dresser reinstalled. Other chirping for lack of a new battery.
Other wise we had a great time and all when smoothly.

My family had a wonderful time at the beach. The location was absolutely perfect. The home was a little dated and the carpet needed to be replaced. But the beach and the back porch made it all worth it. We will definitely be a returning guest!!!

Your beautiful home was our spot for a weekend writers retreat! We enjoyed the spacious kitchen for meals in, the huge table for group discussions, the diverse seating options (inside and out) for writing privately. We utilized the beach for periodic “writers block busters” — stretching and calisthenics on the sand, then long walks on the beach to clear our minds and enjoy nature! We also loved the location which provided plenty of options for dinners out. Everyone loved it! We hope to be back next year.

The island was dirty when we arrived. I replaced outside hose because existing leaked in several places . No basin to dip feet. Brown carpet showed everything , did a lot of vacuuming but admit I am a neat freak

We absolutely enjoyed this location. If I had to come up with one thing I didn’t like I would say it’s the living room furniture. It’s beachy wicker that is just not comfortable. Other than that I love the size of the home and it’s perfect for a family.

I loved the house, it was beautiful! The access to the beach was perfect. Susan was very communicative and quick to respond when I had any questions. I will definitely be looking to rent this house again.

We had a wonderful week at the beach. Before the week was over we tried to book again for next year but the week we needed was already booked. This house provided everything we needed for everyone there. The beach felt semi private due to retaining walls. The ocean waves were perfect for boogie boarding (our neighbors had surf boards and were surfing). The kids enjoyed going to the other side of the retaining walls to find beautiful shells. The Grandparents enjoyed watching the kiddos from an ocean front deck that was full shade and comfortable furniture. In the evening the sunset from the front porch rockers was beautiful and peaceful. The Inlet dock across the street provided a great area for fishing, crabbing and throwing a casting net. The kitchen was set up and stocked with everything we needed to cook almost every night we were there. At the time of our stay the dishwasher was out of service but we didn't mind. The house layout was perfect. Split floor plan on the 1st floor with 1 bedroom having a king bed and bathroom. The 2 other downstairs bedrooms (1 room with a queen bed, 1 room with 2 twin beds) that share a bathroom. The 3 upstairs bedrooms all had their own bathrooms. We will defiantly watch the calendar for another week that will fit into our schedule.

Great. Place to celebrate my retirement.
My spouse, siblings and family celebrated my retirement here. The house was spacious and homey. We all enjoyed having our own space and the great beach.

Quiet and relaxing.
This was perfect for our family trip. The beach was beautiful and quite. Having direct access to the beach was amazing with 4 kids under 7. No fighting traffic or crossing streets to get to the beach everyday. Only other people on the beach near us were all staying in the houses to the left and right. So we never had to worry about overcrowding. The house was spacious and plenty of room for the family to hang out. The private dock across the street was fun to have. I will definitely be booking this one again in the future.

The house is in a great location and the beach is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and loved the area.

Great vacation rental
Great location and love the layout of the house. All upstairs bedroom have private bath and walk out to balcony with fabulous ocean views. Ample parking and plenty of space. Steps connecting to beach. This home will not disapppont and we plan to book again. A few things to note: couch in living room is not very comfortable but ok..but we spent most of time on the porches overlooking beach so was not an issue. There is only bedroom with a TV.. we will bring portable DVD player next time

Wonderful house! We had a great time!
We stayed for a week before taking my son back to CCU. There were two senior adults and four 19-year-olds. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Well, two shared a bathroom, but there were plenty to go around. Each had their own space to relax, study, read, watch TV, be on their computer, fix food in the big kitchen, go out on the front or back porch/deck, walk on the beach, etc. Weather-wise, it was pretty cool, so we didn't spend most of our time outside, But the nice thing about the rooms is that all face the ocean and have doors out to the deck except the one with the twin beds. So you can be in your room and watch/listen to the ocean. So relaxing! I would love to come back sometime. Thank you, Susan!

Family gathered at the beach to celebrate Christmas together. It was a wonderful experience and all enjoyed the home and the area. Plenty of room for all!

3 Generations Celebrate and early Thanksgiving
The very open layout provided lots of open space for the whole group to interact. Well-stocked kitchen. Great views of sunrise and sunset, plus some star gazing on the boardwalk. Nice walk to the inlet when the tide was mostly out.

Annual girls' trip
Mostly very clean in the things that matter, kitchen, bathrooms and beds. Lots of room and great views of ocean and back water canal. Kitchen was well stocked! Good parking areas, and very well furnished and decorated. Wifi was on and off at times, but mostly on. A few ant problems in kitchen, but would definitely stay again if we choose Garden City again.

Annual Golf Weekend
We really enjoyed our time staying here. We were down for an annual golf weekend. The house had everything we needed. Plenty of space and the living area was great for watching college football and playoff baseball at night.

Location Location Location
The location of this property could not be better, with the ocean in the back and a private dock across the street overlooking the inlet. Although the interior was dated, it was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Miss it already - we want to go back!
We had the luxury of this huge house for 5 of us (6th person couldn’t make it). So we each had our own bedroom and bathroom.
The location is amazing! Even though the beach is public, seems like only people staying in the area take advantage of the beach as there doesn’t seem to be a lot of areas for public access. Many times the beach in front of the house was empty, else just a few people swimming, fishing, or surfing. Sitting on the beach and watching the surfers right in front of you was amazing. We even had a full moon rise in the east the first few nights…beautiful to see it reflect on the ocean.
The house and decks were awesome. So much room. Needed to get tp, paper towels….right away, but many close stores.
We gave VRBO some suggestions for some improvements after we got home (nothing major) and they responded very positively and thanked us for our feedback.
Communication with Susan during our trip was quick and informative.
Strongly suggest getting beach chairs upon arrival. We bought some used ones on Facebook Marketplace. Best moments were sitting on the beach while the tide was coming in.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Inlet Harbour! It was a great day on the beach and the house/location was absolutely perfect! The property owner and cleaning staff were extremely accommodating to our travel plans. We highly recommend this vacation rental!

Family Fun Week
The location of this property was excellent--right on the beach on a dead end road. We had 11 people and we were very comfortable in the house. However, the WIFI didn't work and there were several things that needed to be fixed. Overall, it was a very fun time.

Spectacular view
The owner was wonderful, her house was perfect but I mentioned some things that she might consider letting her cleaning crew aware of but other than that we had a marvelous stay. Great house! I don't think you could ever find a more bezutiful view. The house had 6 bedrooms & bathrooms and all were extremely nice!
