Loved this cozy apartment in walking distance to a lot of cute shops and restaurants.
Owners were so gracious and would def stay again.
There are lots of steps, so make sure your party is mobile.
The bedroom is at the entrance of the hallway so you may hear some hall noise and the hall lights do come through, but I just switched them off when we went to sleep.
Overall, a great place.

The apartment is charming and the neighborhood is excellent. I walked to the WW2 Museum easily. The St. Charles streetcar is also an easy stroll. I had a fab lunch at the Bower next door and Magazine St. is a long fun place to explore. The host, Jules, was great, It was perfect for me, but if you have issues with steps, there is a set of stairs to get to the second floor.

Talk about the perfect quintessential NOLA stay…….THIS is it! Having lived only 1.5 miles further down on Magazine just four years ago; it was such a joy to discover how amazing this area has become in such a short period of time. The apartment was not only in a perfect location but also tastefully decorated/equipped. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about this place and hoping to make it my only go-to everytime I visit NOLA! Thank you!

Great location
This is a great location for visiting New Orleans. 4 blocks from WW 2 museum, 6 blocks from streetcar. 2 excellent restaurants within 1/2 block.
The apartment fit all our needs and was supplied with basics. Its still a work in progress but feels historical. Contact with hostess was easy and quick.
We would highly recommend this.

Character and comfort
We had a lovely 5-night stay in the Library. Fair warning to those with aging knees like us - when the reviews say “expect some steps”, this is a second floor unit and there is a fairly steep, twenty step staircase. We found that we generally only went out once or twice and spent most of the day out, so that didn’t affect us as much as we thought it might… The area was nice, fairly quiet, but with some really good restaurants (try Surreys for breakfast - you won’t be sorry)! The rental was comfortable with a small but fully stocked kitchen, plentiful hot water, and a good bed. The only thing we found lacking was a few more pieces of furniture - a bench at the end of the bed to put our suitcase on and an ottoman in the living room to rest our aching feet would have been nice. Would definitely stay again, though!

Garden of Pleasure
We were fortunate to book this space in the Lower Garden District in NOLA. We love the city and the charm of the railroad apartments and this one was no exception. Clean lines, simple furniture, well lit, in an historical area that is now a hot spot. Who Knew??? It's location is perfect. Close to the French Quarter, A downtown area of art and galleries, restaurants etc and a few doors from our entrance are other new restaurants and venues. So it was so easy...and we were too comfortable. Our hosts were BEYOND!!!! We sent our itinerary and they made suggestions for sights and dining that were excellent. We luckily had an opportunity to meet in person, and we just connected. Thank you J&B for EVERYTHING.

Couples Get-A-Way
Stayed March 25th-28th. True New Orleans style home. Inside clean & homey. Bed very comfortable. Place was quiet for some good sleeping. Area has many restaurants, bars & coffee shops all within walking distance. WWII Museum also within walking distance. St. Charles Street car a few short blocks away. Jules was available & very responsive to any info we needed. Downfalls, would have loved the back yard to be cleaned up so it could be utilized as a nice afternoon sitting area. Few open cracks in doors to balcony which made for very brisk mornings inside the home. Front door difficult to unlock. Could use a new internal mechanism. All in all it was a good place to stay.

Clean, spacious, safe location
We actually did not stay at this location, we were moved to another location a block or so away due to unforeseen plumbing issues. The other location was beautifully renovated, bed was comfy, as was the day bed. Not very well appointed with anything basic; ie paper towels, place mats to help preserve real wood table surface, extra sheets for daybed, broom/dust pan.... Good location, clean accommodations, owners available.

Charming and high end hideaway a relaxed and safe neighborhood
We were here for our 10-year anniversary, so Jules upgraded us to the 2-BR just upstairs from the one BR that we booked. This is a beautiful old world town home with modern improvements. The spacious lobby allowed us to safely store the bikes we brought from home.
The neighborhood is the perfect NOLA mix for relaxed travelers with plenty of bars and restaurants on St Charles and in the Warehouse District a short walk away. Some of our favorites: Lula Distillery, Slice Pizza, Rum House Taqueria, Central City BBQ, French Truck Coffee, Mojo Coffee.
Very clean and easy. Thanks for making it a great and special trip.

Feeling residential at Jules place!
blocks away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and bourbon street, you’re close to everything New Orleans has to offer. Downtown, the garden district and everything in between! Such a great location to not only venture out to the tourist sites but also enjoy local digs and hangs, super cute apartment with all the necessities. You really feel like a resident, be careful walking up the steps though especially if you’ve had a couple of drinks! Thanks Jules for your wonderful service and I will definitely be back.

Spacious-good for couple of family as well as for solo adult like me. Bedroom, kitchenette and living room and bathroom, in railroad fashion, with a small balcony. Hosts allowed me to drop off luggage hours before check-in and to check-in a couple hours early, which was appreciated. They were installing new A/C and givng place a thorough cleaning before I arrive as last longer term tenant had left things in a mess.I never heard other guests. Block is quiet.

Beautiful place, wonderful host
This place made our trip! We were in town for a conference and it was so beautiful and close that it made the whole trip. Every time we walked in the door we made a comment about how happy we were to be staying in this beautiful home. Jules was wonderful and sent us a bunch of information to make our trip better and and answered all of our questions about New Orleans. Very happy with our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!

Great property! Super clean and convenient
I was originally booked for this property. Jules, the owner, emailed that their was an AC problem. We were relocated to her other property, 1344330. It was very clean and cozy. We parked safely on the street with no parking fees. It was a great weekend.

Reborn in New Orleans
Sometimes you plan a vacation to get away. Sometimes you plan one because you are in need of being reborn. My boyfriend and I had become life weary, having experienced tremendous loss and heartache in recent months. We were laying in bed one night watching some food shows with New Orleans as the star city and I said to him, "we need to go." Though French Quarter Fest was going on, we were there to experience the Garden District. We ate and ate and ate and laughed and slept. We were able to recharge physically and emotionally. We left New Orleans feelings reconnected and repurposed.
New Orleans gets the out of towner impression it's a city of debauchery. Really though, it's a city of magic. Magical things happen here, and it will take me dozens more trips to figure out that magic. The accommodations provided by Jules were an essential part of this magic. This was not some sterile hotel room...this was a home that made us feel alive. I cannot thank Jules enough for her hospitality and will definitely be asking if we can stay with her in the future!

Southern charm and hospitality
What a beautiful neighborhood, so vibrant with everyone out walking and dogs galore. Everyone says hello and smiles. The property was set up very cute, clean and orderly. The owners were accessible for questions and very friendly. Highly recommend and we look forward to another time with them.

Great architectural home in the lower garden district, near to everything.
Thanks so much for the recommendation for the plantation visit! We loved everything about NOLA and your home. As a triplet daughter of our father who was KIA in WWII, we came here to deposit the newspaper and photo archives of my father. The weather was perfect and the hospitality of Jules and his wife wonderful. Thanks so much for a memorable visit.

It was actually an apartment a couple blocks away but it was great. Clean and had everything needed.
Jules was great and started to take care of me before I even arrived by moving me to an apartment that was a couple blocks away but away from the construction. The place was great. Easy to walk to things and a block from the bus. Jules also provided a foodie restaurant list that had awesome recommendations.
