I was overjoyed with our stay, IronBark Beach House was everything I wanted for our celebration of 50 years wedding anniversary. The location is perfect, close to the beach even our dog enjoyed the free run on the beach. The house is well set up for two couples or families with the 2 ensuite bathrooms. A lovely bright house with glorious bird song & many trees to give a feeling of total privacy from the neighbours & road. A well thought out kitchen, it had everything we needed. Oh, and just wait to see the large, colourful art work mural in the dinning space ! I loved it, so appropriate for a beach house, a very unique piece. Thank you for our great memorable stay of 3 days in September.

Perfect for my family and our little dog. Backyard not secure for a little dog. Beautiful light filled house and surprise table tennis table in shed.

The house provided a great base for a relaxing 4 days at beautiful Carrackalinga. The setting was idyllic - you felt you were in the bush and not a suburb. Good layout and all essential services.

Bright, spacious and airy. Like the two bathrooms. Large outdoor area. Backyard a bit dry and dusty, not somewhere you want to sit to BBQ or eat. Everything clean. We had a dog and yard secure. Close walk to beach.

We really enjoyed out stay. The house is quite new, with lots of windows and is very comfortable - everything we needed. It has a nice bush garden which provides a very relaxing outlook. We brought our dog who also enjoyed the garden. A short walk to the beach - perfect.

House in a really nice area, within walking distance to the beach etc., We always find the place comfortable and relaxing!

Great layout for 2 couples/families. Advertised as dog friendly but I would not let my dog loose in the very overgrown backyard. Was fenced. Need a rail on front steps and a good clean up outside.

Exactly as described in the bio. Awesome quiet relaxing location. Perfect middle living & dining area for social meals. Simple east care stay. Great wood oven pizza & brewery close by. Even had an echidna in the back yard! Thanks for the memorable weekend.

This place has a wonderful relaxed vibe & a very simple but practical layout. Ideal for 2 couples or families & a bonus that you can bring your fur-baby. 5 minute walk to the beach & a nice native garden. Great value for money, we will be back.

The bridal party was really happy with the property for the Wedding eve, and then the Bride & Groom really enjoyed their stay for the rest of the weekend.

As the name suggests even though it's a beach house it's surrounded by beautiful trees, birds and a short walk to the beach.

The family always enjoys going to Ironbark for holidays. It is everything we need for a simple and comfortable beach holiday.
It is a great base to either just go to the beach or explore the surrounding area

Very pleasant little place but a bit short on blinds, so we all woke up very early.
We pulled out weeds from the front garden all week and looked better by the time we left..

Everything well organised, plenty board game for kids. only problem I found , they are not giving any doona. It’s very hard to carry doona bedding stuff if you going from other state.
But overall excellent

Lovely light filled simplicity.

Beautiful glass windows that look out to the greenery with birds - very peaceful and calming. Loved the two bedrooms both with ensuites as perfect place for two sets of couples. All that would be great is a nice big comfy couch in living room. The existing small couch and couple of chairs provided do not accomodate guests very well with adequate seating or comfort.

Well set up for a short break. Close to beach, and local attractions.

Apart from main bed needs maintenance held up by a paint tin and the slats had to be put back from collapsing. It was all good.

Location was ideal. The owner was lovely and very understanding as we had to leave 2 days early due to a family death. The owner refunded the two remaining nights accommodation.
We would happily rebook here again

Needs greater attention to detail for this money. Lamp globe did not work. Kitchen clock did not work. Needs more blinds and/or curtains over entrance area for security, privacy and morning light. Beds squeaky. When initially booking we did expect sheets and towels for this money. Grouting on bathroom tiles needs cleaning. Garden needs some work - overgrown. At least the toaster trays had been emptied!

The photos capure it well - clean, moden, spacious and comfortable with all the basics for a very pleasant stay. The 'bush' setting is lovely to wake up to and also gives privacy.
Really like the design, with plenty of light and air flow through doors and windows. A railing up the front steps would help for older people such as us.

Spacious, well appointed and airy in a delightful bush setting.

This property was easy to find, in a good quiet location with a comfortable open plan design. Easy stroll to the beach and a short drive to Normanville.
On the negative side, it could do with freshening up as it is a little ‘tired’ and the ensuite to the main bedroom has an unpleasant smell otherwise this holiday house is good value for money 😎

Would do it all again
