We enjoyed our stay and loved the condo and location. On arrival the unit had not been cleaned (which was surprising and upsetting), but the owner had someone there quickly to clean the unit and sent us a small credit for the inconvenience. After that was settled, our stay was wonderful and we would stay here again. The property, beach, pool and unit were nice.

Condo was just as advertised. Right by pool and beach. Had a wonderful stay! Will be back.

The condo was excellent. We had a great view, the accommodations were great, the condo was always comfortable. They are in the process of renovating or doing something with the Margaritaville hotel, but the condos are well maintained. The Lazy Lizard bar and grill is the best place on the island for drinks, food and swim up bar. The hospitality of the servers and locals was top notch. We will absolutely stay again on our next trip to the islands. We had 4 different condos booked and each one was unique and beautiful. I highly recommend this condo and condo complex.

We were happy with our stay at Sunset Cove. This was our first time booking through VBRO. Our condo had everything we needed for our stay. Our only issue was the a/c not going any lower then 72 degrees. Look forward to coming back again to visit as we had a great time on the island for the first time.

The property is in a great location !! Pool and beach view. We walked almost everywhere.
Always beach and chairs available- no need to get up early to “safe” chairs .
Condo had everything we needed. A little outdated, but it was clean, great location and beds were super comfortable!!

Overall the property is in typical island shape- not bad but not great- the unit itself was clean but was missing a remote to turn the tv off and several bulbs out- it’s a solid 4 star island unit- the beach has sand directly behind the property but you can’t walk the beach bc it’s reef on both sides. I’d stay here again but I’d look down more towards governors beach if you want to walk the beaches.

We really enjoyed Sunset Cove!
The Pool Area, Beach, and Swimming Area we’re excellent. And, there were many great restaurants all walking distance from the condo.
The only upgrade we would have enjoyed more would be new patio furniture, more rugs, and some updates to the kitchen. The refrigerator is nearing the end of its useful life, and the ice maker is broken.
Just a bit more attention to some minor maintenance, and we would have given a 5-star review.
Otherwise, we loved every minute of our Grand Cayman Adventure!

This is THE ideal location on 7-mile beach. Everything you need and then some. Walking distance to just about everything. Incredible pool and protected cove. Our children are adults, but this would have been a great place for families with young kids. Relax is the one word that describes our stay

Location, location, location!! Perfectly located directly on Seven Mile Beach. The cove is definitely a bonus! Close to Camana Bay and Georgetown. Condo is tastefully decorated and well appointed. Every thing you need is there…plenty of towels and the kitchen has everything you need. The complex is clean and beautifully landscaped. Beautiful pool area. Very family friendly. I loved that the bar closes early so the complex is very quiet at night. Security visible so safety is top notch (but I’ve never felt unsafe any where in Grand Cayman). Would definitely recommend…I know we’ll be back.

The hosts were excellent from reservations to post check out. The location is wonderful! Great snorkeling off the beach and food / groceries all close by! We went for our 40 year wedding anniversary and renewed our vows on the beach at sunset!!! We had great weather and a great time! Hope to stay there again the next time we get to Grand Cayman!

Grand Cayman Condo
What a great property! Spacious, clean, fully-appointed condo; 2-bd/2-ba allowed us to share the space with another couple. Beautiful overlook to pool, beach, and ocean. What made it complete was full access to Margaritaville amenities (pools, fitness, bars, beach chairs, water toys). Super convenient location for walks on 7-Mile Beach, easy in/out to town, restaurants, and grocery store. Time in the morning to sit on the balcony and sip coffee or play cards at night after an evening out. Thank you for such a great week!

Great week on Seven Mile Beach
This is a spacious Condo that is in a great location! Steps away from the ocean and pool with ample chase lounges and umbrellas available. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Although, there are tons of great restaurants in the neighborhood! We were very pleased to see the owner had pool noodles for guests as we like them for snorkeling off the beach. The owner provided an extensive list of restaurants and things to do on Grand Cayman that was helpful. We used the public buses and had no problems getting around. You can jump on bus right outside the property. I would rent this property again.

Paradise Found!!!
This was our third trip to Grand Cayman and second staying in Sunset Cove. Ariel’s unit exceeded our expectations. We traveled with our 18, 15 and 5 year old and the unit had ample space for all of us to spread out. Well stocked with everything needed for our daily cooking needs etc. Especially the blender. My wife makes some mean Dirty Bananas. The location is excellent just a couple steps from the parking lot since we rent a car and makes in and outs with groceries and luggage a snap. Balcony overlooks the pool with view of the beach and sunsets. This is nice if keeping an eye on any family or children. Steps to all the margaritaville amenities as well. The pool is great. Easy to get a chair. Warm water. Kid friendly. Good pool bar. Beach is awesome. Protected cove with good snorkeling around cove and reef just a bit outside. Have seen everything from lobster, eel, squid, crabs, rays, turtle and many other fish varieties just off this beach and reef alone. Close proximity to Kirk market for groceries, downtown cruise terminal Camana Bay and lots of restaurants. You’re pretty much not too far from anything in West Bay/Seven Mile Beach. We visited Spotts Beach for some Turtle snorkeling and had a blast. Swim out just a bit and you’ll see these magnificent turtles in their natural setting. Kids loved it. This can be done all on your own. No tour. Stingray City and reef snorkel is always.a must do. Always a great experience. Lots of good food and sights and the island locals are great. We love Sunset Cove for all the above reasons and will continue to make this our home away when traveling here. Thank you to Ariel and his family for sharing their home with our family and giving us the opportunity to experience The Cayman Island Life again! It’s pretty amazing and highly recommended if you’re looking for you’re own Cayman experience. We hope to return soon ourselves.

Sunset in Paradise
If you are looking for a clean, cozy condo where you can watch the sunset from the balcony in 30º+ weather, and enjoy a restful vacation, with all of the amenities, this is the place.
5 o'clock Somewhere is the local walk-up and pool bar, less than 50 yards from the condo, and the beach is a mere 100 yard walk.
Everything is in walking distance including the grocery and liquor stores.
One of the best wood oven pizza places we've ever been to: XQ's is just past the Margaritaville Resort (about 200 yards away); and if you decide to walk in the opposite direction, across the street you'll find Coconut Joe's (Awesome breakfast), Pepper's (Amazing fish dishes), and Deckers which offers All-you-can-Eat lobster tails on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (This is a true gem).
For a romantic, higher-end choice of cuisine, go to The Warf, watch them feed the Tarpons, feast on a fantastic selection of entrees, and be serenaded by World Famous Harpist: Eugenio Leon. He is an extremely talented musician who will play your favorite ballad.
Other than long romantic walks on the beach, you can also enjoy lots of snorkeling around the reefs, swimming with the dolphins and stingrays, you can visit the Island's turtle farm and the Starfish sanctuary, and go to George Town, Camana Bay and Rum Pointe during your stay.
All in all, you need a comfortable and safe landing base when you are on vacation and Ariel provides this, along with all of the other benefits this Island has to offer.
Definitely, one of the Best vacations that we've ever taken!

A Great Time
My wife and i just spent the week here. Our 40th anniversary. We had a great time. The condo was great. Plenty of room, well appointed, and the best beach front on Seven Mile Beach. The breaker wall on the beach provides a great place to snorkel by attracting a lot of fish. Having the facilities of Margaritaville available is a definite plus. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We chose to take cabs, and ride the bus line around the island to experience the local culture. The locals are fantastic. Very nice, and more than willing to help with directions and locations that we were trying to find. Ariel is great to work with. Everything was very easy for us. One of our best vacations ever. We will be back!!

Awesome, clean, and excellent location
This condo completely exceeded my expectations. The unit was clean, well stocked, and offered amenities that are normally only offered at high priced resorts with hefty resort fees. The staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating in making sure we had a great trip. The owner Ariel was super responsive and informative. Definitely will be back.

Great Stay!
We are a family of 5 with 3 boys 15, 13 & 10 we always have to rent condos to have the extra space. The condo was very clean and had everything in the kitchen we needed. The couch was not very comfortable, but the beds were VERY comfortable. We loved having the balcony to overlook the pool and to see the beautiful sunsets. The condo is nothing fancy, but it’s super clean and simple offering everything we needed. We spent most days at the cove snorkeling and kayayking and ended our nights at the pools. The cove is so pretty and the snorkeling at the reef outside the cove was very good! Our favorite beach was Govenors beach about a 10 min drive away. We ended up renting a cr to explore the island and I’m so glad we did that! My only compliant was the gym - the equipment was nice BUT it was so small and not one window. I was disappointing. Overall we loved it and will be back! Great people and good!

We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to check me back. The unit was roomy for our family of four and we feel we had the best place on the beach. Convenient and tourist friendly. The perks at Margaretaville we’re the best as well as the staff!

Easily a 5 Star property
Condo is in an ideal location.
Overlooking the pool with a view of the ocean.
Having access to all the amenities of Margaritaville Hotel plus a great ocean beach makes this property a terrific place to stay.
The condo itself is well appointed - everything works and we loved it here.

Perfect
Ariel's place was fabulous for our family of four. Great location, two pools and a great beach. We were there spring break week and never had a problem getting four chairs at the beach or the pool. Although the condo is located poolside, overlooking the swim-up bar, there was never any issue with noise, etc. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Cayman.

LOVED - great condo in a great location on Grand Cayman
This was my family's first trip to Grand Cayman. We have two grown sons (in their 20s) and I was looking for a place with two bedrooms/two baths and a kitchen (we have definitely outgrown all staying in one hotel room together for a week!) We looked at tons of places to stay on line but this one seemed a fair price and had just the features we were looking for. I read all the reviews and took a chance that this would be a good place for us. We couldn't have been happier. Seven Mile Beach is stunning and this is at the "bottom" end of the beach which is much less of a scene. On the first day I thought maybe it would have been nice to be a little further up the beach but by day two I was happy we weren't. Some of the hotels have people packed into beach chairs side by side and seem very crowded. The beach area for Sunset Cove is a little set apart from the rest of the beach as there is a rocky area you have to walk over to get to the main part of the beach or you can do what we did and walk one block up on the street to the public access and then you're on the "main drag" of the beach. The fact that it's a little set apart from the rest of the beach means there are not people walking through who are not staying at Sunset or Margarittaville. There is a small walled in swim area on the beach which is great for kids and is also the perfect spot to get started snorkeling. (We rented snorkel equipment for the week at a local dive shop but there were two sets we could have used in the unit.) There are lots of fish to see right along the rock wall and then there's an opening to go out to the ocean. Fish are all along the wall and if you snorkel out toward the buoys you come to more reefs with beautiful fish. The pool is lovely and there's a swim up bar which is fun. Hot tub also a plus. The complex seemed fairly family oriented and not a huge spring break scene. The condo itself was very comfortable - 1 king bed and the 2nd bedroom had 1 double and 1 single. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved eating breakfast and lunch on the deck overlooking the pool. We rented a car (would definitely recommend if you're looking to see more of the island) and parking was never a problem. Lots of restaurants we could walk to or many a short drive. The host was responsive and easy to work with. A cleaning team came in once midweek to change beds/towels. There is a washer/dryer in the unit. We all agreed that if we return to GC we would love to stay here again!

Amazing family vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cove. We went with our family of four (kids ages 10 and 7) during President's week, school vacation week in the Northeast. We enjoyed the facilities, Margaritaville, Grand Caymen, the unit, and Ariel!
First, the unit itself was very nice. It is a spacious two bedroom, with a really nice open floor plan. We really enjoyed the patio overlooking the pool. The noise was not an issue for us.
Sunset Cove and Margaritaville together worked out great for us. We really enjoyed the pool and especially the beach area. The beach, being protected by the rock cove, was wonderful for snorkeling for our kids (and us). One of the best parts was that it was too crowded. We were able to wander down at around 10/10:30am and easily get chairs by the pool or beach. We enjoyed being connected to Margaritaville and took advantage of their pool, coffee shop (very good Iced Americano), etc.
We spent a lot of time around the condo, but also ventured out a bunch. We really enjoyed the lunch and Stingray city tour with Captain Marvin. We also enjoyed the turtle farm, walking around and eating at Caymana Bay, and walking around George Town. We wound up not renting a car and used taxis (Ace was good 777-7777).
Lastly, can't say enough about Ariel. He was incredibly responsive leading up to the trip answering questions within minutes of me asking and providing a very helpful set of information about the island. He also quickly addressed an A/C issue when we were there, and incredibly graciously helped return my daughter's precious stuffed animals we left behind.
All in all, a wonderful week for our family! Thanks again Ariel!

Relaxing Vacation
This condo was perfect for our vacation with two couples. The condo itself is slightly dated but it was adequate for us. We cooked breakfast every morning and a few dinners in the unit and the kitchen had everything we needed. If we were in the room, we were typically on the patio. The patio overlooks the pool and pool bar; the unit is right in the middle of the Sunset Cove/Margaritaville combined complex.
The pool was surprisingly quiet and typically had more chairs available than taken. The beach area is well maintained and the cove keeps the water calm even when there are large waves rolling in. Unlike other destinations I've been, Seven Mile Beach isn't conducive to "long walks on the beach" since the beach is inconsistent as you walk down. This complex had one of the nicer beaches along this stretch.
The Kirk Market Grocery Store is about a 1 mile walk and we did this several times during the week, loving the perfect distance to get a little exercise. The liquor store is basically next store and there are several retail stores within a mile each way from the complex. The cab ride to Georgetown Center was $11-13. We walked to several restaurants in the area and were happy with them all (Coconut Joe's, Pepper's, The Wharf). We also ate at The Eating House in the hotel, they have sushi and good sized menu; the lobster fried rice was reasonably priced and delicious with large pieces of lobster (sit at the bar and watch the mixologists make beautiful drink after drink). We also ordered yummy wood-fired pizza in the lobby several times during the week, nachos pool-side and muffins in the coffee shop. The hotel gym is very nice with new equipment. It is very nice having access to the hotel amenities.
The host, Ariel, was extremely responsive before and during out stay, always responding to my emails within 10-15 minutes. Our mid-week cleaning didn't happen as planned, but within 90 minutes of letting Ariel know, they were in the unit cleaning. We would rent this unit again.

This was my first trip to the Island and i will definitely be back. The condo was amazing it had everything we needed we cooked breakfast and lunches and set out on our large deck that overlooked the pool and ocean . Our group ranged in ages from 18-76 years of age each and every one of us did not have one thing bad to say.
Everyone from the public transportation, restaurants, bars were so accommadating. I would so recommend this condo and its surroundings to everyone!!! A huge Thank you to Ariel if you needed anything he was just a text away and answered very quickly any questions we had. If you are looking for relaxation with all the amenities you will not be disappointed.
Thanks for Everything!!

Overall my family enjoyed their stay in this unit. The location of the unit is great. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store and Georgetown, located right on SMB and next to many great restaurants. The unit itself directly overlooks the pool and swim up bar area with a view of the ocean.
Sunset Cove Condo is a beachfront property located on SMB. Margaritaville Resort was built behind Sunset Cove with no beach access. The connection of the condo to the resort seriously boosted this condo's marketability. Although my family was not looking for a "resort" per se, we did find it convenient to have access to the pool bar, coffee shop and eateries located on Margaritaville's property. Additionally, we had family members who joined us last minute who stayed in Margaritaville and it was great having them so close.
Being close to the pool bar, there was often music playing that could be heard from the unit, but never too loud or unpleasant. Although the name may indicate differently, Margaritaville is not a party resort. There were many families staying here during our trip. The beach itself has a protective cove making it ideal for small children. There is a 1-foot deep kiddie pool, which is where we spent the majority of our time when not on the beach.
I will say that we were a bit let down by the unit itself. Although we generally expect a hint of a musty odor due to the moisture in the air, this unit definitely had a much stronger odor. The air conditioning was set at 78 and we could not get it to cool beyond that temperature. The owner was quick to respond and called an a/c tech to check it out. The tech didn't show up for 2 1/2 days, leaving us uncomfortable inside the unit. After he left, the temperature cooled to 76, which was still uncomfortable for us. The bedrooms did cool a bit further which at least made sleeping conditions slightly better.
The bathrooms are run down and dated. Although the unit appeared clean on check-in, it still appeared dingy. However, the worst part was the construction on the unit above us which was very loud (especially with a toddler).
There are beach towels in the unit. Some of which do belong to the resort. I recommend just using these towels and changing them in everyday at the towel stand for new.
The owner seemed put together and sent over great information before our stay which was much appreciated.
Overall, we enjoyed our trip and will return to SMB. However, we will stay elsewhere next trip.

We had a winderful 10 night stay at the sunset cove condo. Great location, great amenities on site, wonderful sunset views, close to everything on SMB and plenty of parking. Overall a great time was had at the condo!

Nice condo complex with a great view of the beautiful pool right off the balcony. The beach area was amazing with tons of lounge chairs.....too bad we were there during the remnants of a hurricane so we didn’t get enjoy the beach much! There were plenty of pool towels, and my daughter appreciated the pool toys that were there. We loved having a washer and dryer and there was plenty of laundry soap left for us. We were a bit surprised that there was almost nothing in the cupboards - one pepper shaker and maybe one other spice, but no salt. I guess I thought that most people would leave their non perishables there for others to use (as we did) but it seemed like those things get cleaned out between each renter? I would suggest bringing your own shampoo, since we ran out half way through (or could be due to our 11 year old using too much?) Ariel was always quick to reply when we contacted him. We would come back here again for sure.
2.5
Perfect location plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby the condo was very clean and very reasonably priced and owner was very accommodating, would definitely rent it again!

Great location. Condo supply all our needs. We had a great time. Seven mile beach was beautiful. Owner sent lots of helpful information and responded when questions arise. Pleasure staying.
