For the cheapest one in cancun is nice

Nice room, comfy bed. The host cleans the room every day and thats very nice.

I was surprised by a veeery weak water flow in the bathroom, i could barely wash my hair. One thing was a bit uncomfortable - there are two rooms in the house, but also the host and a friend of the host were using the kitchen so we had to wait for them every day, to be able to prepare our own meal. The neighbourhood is really nice, but we needed 1 hour to the downtown by coletivo, then we rented bikes to get there faster but the road was so bumpy it didnt work out.

A fuir, le prix "bas" ne justifie pas n'importe quel service

La zone résidentielle est calme et il y a un supermarché juste à côté.

L'appartement est situé très loin du centre et du terminal de bus ADO. Bien qu'il soit dans une zone résidentielle et calme, il faut 45 min pour atteindre l'aéroport ou le centre. Lorsque nous sommes arrivées dans la chambre, la clim ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre où il faisait 35⁰ et avec une serviette mouillée sur nous pour nous rafraîchir. Une seule serviette de bain était à disposition alors que nous étions 2. J'ai tenté de contacter le/la propriétaire, uniquement joignable par message et n'acceptait pas de me rencontrer ou mes appels. Bref, à fuir, le prix "bas" ne justifie pas n'importe quel service.

Ok stay for a night.

Easy to find and good instructions provided. The shopping mall is just a few minutes walking. The shower was really good with hot water.

The place wasn't very clean. The kitchen utensils are very old and there is no microwave.

Safe location and excellent communication

- Safe location, in a "coto" or gated community, close to Soriana, Oxxos, bus stop, taco stands, restaurants etc. - Very clean - Easy "check-in" with fantastic communication from the host, who sent useful information about the area etc. - Fridge, stove, cutlery etc. - Air conditioning and fan - Good value for money

- The bed isn't the most comfortable - I didn't realise when booking that it was a shared bathroom with another guest who was staying downstairs. It wasn't a problem for us, we just didn't realise beforehand

Very good

Host answers quick and has a lot of recommendations. There is a big supermarket nearby and the cillectivo stops nearby. Fridge is big.

No drinking water included. The apartment is located quite outside of cancun. So long ways to the beach/ado. (But ok with the collectivo)

Superb

I had a great time staying at Casa el Limonero. It’s located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, just what I needed in a busy city like Cancun.

Poor

I understand this is a very cheap accommodation but the room was not super clean with some stains on the sheets, some hair, and even a spider crawling from underneath the cover. Recommend for cheapest option if you have a flight to catch and need to spend a few hours of the night somewhere. Bathroom was nice.

Communicative staff who gave instructions on how to get to the place in advance. Place is tidy

You have to pay additionally for the water (it was 50 pesos) which is usually for free in other places (it seems as a basic need) . It is a bit far away and it is not easy to get even when taking bus, there is 20 minutes walk left. It was quite hot (AC not efficient). You can get better place for this price.

There is a shower, there is bed, probably the lowest price at Cancun. Got in late got out early. That is all I needed. One have to get it's expectations right.

If someone is looking for a comfy stay this is not the place. If you are looking for a quick cheap stay this is it.

affordable rate for a bedroom

there were unusual and odd sounds throughout the night. I heard tapping when no one was at the door and something like a piano playing a tune every hour. Perhaps the generators?

Good, but far away.

Very good standard and value for the money.

We did not notice that this is not a hostel or hotel. You need to arrange beforehand about a checkin. We had big problems finding the place. You need internet conection and a phone to call them. It is lockated 30 min by car outside city center in a gated comunity.

The perfect place to rest

The perfect quiet place to stay if you need to rest. Everything for me was great. Its quite far from the ADO terminal but if you want somewhere to rest in the quiet with a comfortable bed and nice facilities this is the place. Super clean too.

owner tried charging 50 pesos to fill up a 800ml water bottle.. the 20L bottles only cost 35 pesos to start with in the shop. when I said it’s expensive he said to walk to the oxxo to by water (at 11pm being a single girl) lol

GREAT VALUE!

Very clean and comfortable bed, clean towels, air conditioning, good wifi. Netflix, amazon prime, HBO large smart TV in the lounge, Isabel (the owner ) very helpful. Supermarket 5 minute walk. And bus to the hotel zone is local. And only 100 pessos in an uber (£3.50) ($5.00)

I had a very good time!

The woman that is in charge of the house is so loving and nice! She helped out with every question and more! She tells you where to go and how to get there. Me as a female solo traveler I felt safe and welcome!
