About this cottage rental
1bedroom/1 bath fully updated cottage with a touch of old Florida, a scenic window,fully functioning kitchen, and centrally located in between I275 and the Veterans Expressway. Close to shopping, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and Raymond James Stadium. Downtown Tampa and Channelside are just a short 20 minute drive away to Amelia Arena and the Aquarium. Need to catch a cruise, that's in Channelside too. Come and relax on our beautiful lake or during cooler weather enjoy the outdoor firepit!! Please note this is a shared property. Owners live on premise and there is another cottage located on same property of our almost 1.5 acres. When you are here you have full access to the property's amenities. Although interactions with other guests are rare, you may run into some and watercrafts are a first come first serve basis at use of own risk. Please ask first before having guests over.. There is not a lifeguard. Owners are not liable for any acts of nature for example wildlife, falling tree limbs, acorns, but not limited to others. Refunds will not be given for inclement weather or early departures. By booking this you agree to these terms.

We stayed at the cottage March 14-16, 2024 for my husband's birthday. The pictures were absolutely spot on. This place is quite beautiful! The cottage is cozy and the view is amazing! We sat by the water every morning! The owners were very accommodating and just all around very nice people! I highly recommend this spot! 5 stars!

What a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed a quiet evening watching the sun set over the lake from the dock, which has both sitting & lounging chairs, little tables & a sturdy umbrella. The evening that it rained was also incredibly relaxing from the screened in front porch, overlooking the lake. The bed was quite comfortable, which is always important to me. The shower is quite close to the commode, so anyone needing assistance (like a walker) would probably have difficulty navigating the small bathroom. If you're familiar with Florida well-water, you'll recognize the sulphur smell, so I'd recommend bringing bottled water to drink, make coffee with, or cook with. And it's just something to deal with when showering. But we wouldn't let that deter us from staying here again. When on site, you feel a million miles away from civilization, but everything you could want is so close. Grocery stores, restaurants & all kinds of shopping are just around the corner. It felt like the best of both worlds! If we're back in the area, I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Beautiful, immaculate and relaxing grounds. Very unique cabin. Well kept. Clean. Comfortable bed. Homey feel and very private. For us, the well water took some getting used to, but in keeping with the cabin experience.

Our stay was too short! The accommodations were great. Clean, friendly - host is personable, friendly and inviting just like his property. Only bummer was low water pressure in the shower which I’m sure is hard to change. But most definitely would book again for sure. We will be back!

Very cute cottage, very clean, with nice screen porch, and everything I could ask for. I loved kayaking around the beautiful lake and quiet time on the porch. Wonderful hosts and special touches, like a fresh garden bouquet. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come again. Darlene

My wife and I stayed the weekend for my 43rd birthday. The property was the perfect place for a couple to get some kid free time. The neighborhood was beautiful. We both caught some bass out of the lake which was fun. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future stays!

We really enjoyed our time here. You couldn't ask for better hosts. The bed was very comfortable and we loved just sitting on the dock and playing with their dogs. Would recommend staying here if you want a relaxing vacation.

The small 1 bedroom cottage was perfect for a vacation getaway and the location was convenient to Tampa where we were going on Royal Caribbean on a cruise ship. The fishing lake and the water crafts were icing on the cake. While not new in any way the cottage was as clean as you would want and had every amentity that you would need. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay there. The owners give you the privacy but are right next door if you need them. I gave them 5 stars because I could not give them 6.

What a beautiful property and the owners could not be nicer. My father stayed for a week and would sign a year long lease if it was an option. We also took some wonderful family pictures by the lake. The entire week could not have been better. Thank you!

We had the best time here, loved the cottage and the property. Kelly and Kevin are outstanding hosts and we will return for sure. We had a fire every night and my wife took the kayak out on the lake, it was everything we could ask for.

Amazing little cottage on a beautifully peaceful, tranquil property. The owners were warm and friendly and the cottage was immaculately clean. Our stay was just what I needed, and I hope to be able to go back soon.

Sooooo Enjoyed This Stay
Loved this beautifully renovated history cabin with a quiet little lake. Clean, private and well stocked. Also appreciated our hosts who were so helpful and considerate and respectful. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Cozy and relaxing
The cottage was amazing! Loved the decor. It was so cozy and relaxing. Beautiful view of the lake! Hosts were so nice and very accommodating with the check in check out process and times. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend.

Getaway for us and to attend a family wedding
We had a wonderful time. Our place was 2 miles from where family was staying for a wedding. We enjoyed escaping each night to our own paradise and some quiet time together. The neighborhood is wonderful for walks and the location is fabulous! Kevin and Kelly were awesome hosts! Thank you.
