The property was very clean & comfortable. A good selection of kitchen utensils & crockery for all cooking needs. It does lack storage in the bedroom, which could do with draws & more coat hangers. We were disappointed with the cooker & trays which needed scrubbing, before we could use. The location is ideal for the beach, which is only 10min short walk. The cafe at the back of the property is highly recommended. Rhosneigr is 4 miles away, which has great restaurant’s & cafe’s. We would recommend this property and will ourselves re-book in the future.

Lovely little cottage has everything you need even a welcome pack with beautiful homemade biscuits. The walk down the side of the river to a huge beautiful beach is such a lovely extra to have on your doorstep...my only tiny upset is that there are no pubs or restaurants to eat locally apart fgom the lovely cafe/bar on the complex.we never ate there because we could never get a table, even though we were staying on the complex? Would definatley return x

Wonderful location close to the Aberffraw dunes. Generally excellent. But lacks drawers or shelves for clothes. So they have to stay in suitcases.

Such a great location for exploring Anglesey, but also with a stunning beach on your doorstep. Ty Mabon is a lovely little flat, we have been twice now. It is very comfortable and well equipped. If I were to add anything to the flat I would ask for some draws in the bedroom as there is plenty of room to have them beside the bed. There is very little storage for your clothes, especially if you are there for a week and prepared for all seasons. That said, I would hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent location lovely cottage.
No drawers in the bedroom was a bit of a pain so had to live out of a suitcase for a week which is not great and only 4 hangers in the wardrobe.
Dinner plates did not fit in the microwave so note this if having a takeaway and need to warm it.
A bread bin would be useful.
Steps to property are quite steep/deep be wary of these if have mobility issues
Ideal for a walk to the 'church in the sea', the cider farm is well worth a visit and great beach walks on the door step.

Very comfortable, clean & cosy place to stay. Had everything we needed and in a beautiful location.

Ty Mabon is a great little property and some lovely walks nearby. Nice to have the cafe nearby also. We did have problems with the heating on our first night (not ideal in January!) but Anglesey Holiday Lettings had it all sorted the following day. I have marked down Comfort/Condition for this reason.

Loved our stay here property is bigger than the one we stayed in previously;which suited us better as it has a small dinning table and a corridor for leaving coats and wellies in when we came off the beach with our dog. The beach is beautiful and totally unspoilt and only a five minute walk away. We stayed in August fell in love with the area and booked to come back
in March and the decided last minute to book our December so glad we did. Property has everything you need to self cater.

No heating in bedroom or bathroom; in the bathroom especially, vital to have heating at this time of year. We phoned you on arrival to advise you of this and you promptly brought round a fan heater which worked for one day only. Then we had to use the electric radiator provided but this could not help the bathroom. I don't know whether this heating system if supplied by the heat pump outside, but the lounge/kitchen thermostat worked effectively and independent of the bedroom one.
All a bit disappointing because we never heard any more from you about why it wasn't working.
So, difficult to recommend on this basis.
We have booked Ty Arthur for August next year hoping for better results.

This was our 3rd stay at Ty Mabon. It has everything we need. Very comfortable. Great location. Aberffraw is a lovely, peaceful village. Fabulous walks on the coastal path nearby. The beach is amazing. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Hi. I did ask for an enclosed garden to help with our dog. It is the only one without an enclosed garden..also its in need of some small repairs.. silicone behind kitchen sink. Skirting near shower cubicle. Internal doors need a fresh coat of paint. Window in lounge has dropped on hinges. Yes only minor and they never affected our stay. But no private enclosed garden was an issue for us. Kind regards Darren Nimmo

Spotlessly clean. Even better with the smart tv this time. Pretty much everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Only things i would mark down are, bit more storage for clothes would be good. Salt n pepper were empty. Apart from that would highly recommend to stay there. So close to the beach. Good parking and access. all kitchen equipment provided, comfy bed, shower really nice. Thank you so much for another fab holiday

Ty Mabon was perfect! Located in a quiet, picturesque area. The complex of various accommodations is well equipped for short stays. A few days much needed getaway was our aim and that’s exactly what we got. It’s cosy when the weather is bad, but very well situated for dog walks when it wasn’t. Very handy for Newborough Forest, where mapped walks are fab.

After deciding at the last minute to book some time to myself over Christmas 2022, I came upon Ty Mabon. This fitted the bill and after staying there, much more as I was desperate for a quiet undisturbed retreat after the loss of my mum earlier in 2022.
A minor issue was sorted out very efficiently by 'Barbara'. I felt cosy, warm and above all, safe. My great grandfather was born and brought up in the village so I did some exploring locally, and went further afield to Holyhead from where my dad hailed.
I would not hesitate to return to this lovely place. I'm reluctant to recommend too much as I want to keep it a secret !!!

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and minutes from Aberffraw beach, this is a lovely place to spend a relaxing holiday. Excellent accomodation as always.

Exactly as described, price is fair for the flat. Nice and clean on arrival, comfy bed, decent settee. Happy with pretty much everything. We had a lovely week, great location for exploring Anglesey and a fab beach within walking distance too!

Recently spent a week at Ty Mabon, Aberffraw. This is the second time that we have stayed in the apartment. It is a lovely apartment and is very comfortable, very clean and has everything that you need for a week away.
It is in a quiet complex within a few minutes walking distance along the estuary and to the Anglesey coastal path, also handy for exploring all the lovely places that Anglesey has to offer. I'm sure that we will be returning next year.

This was our 2nd stay stay at Ty Mabon, the first being last year between lockdowns. It’s ideally situated for the beach or coastal path walks which are only a few minutes walk away. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is a tea room close by, as well as a post office/village shop. The Crown pub serves amazing food and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

Everything was very convenient and we liked the way the apartment was decorated. We had everything we needed. A lovely little open air cafe next door was great for breakfasts and a spectacular beach is about 20 mins walk down the river. Aberffraw is a perfect base for exploring the island. We may well book again!

This property is great for two people. It is very clean and has everything you need for self catering. It is in a great location for walking by the estuary and on to the lovely beach and the coastal path. Pub and small shop are two minute walk away. Only drawback is that this property is close to the road so there is some traffic noise but not too bad in the evening and night time.

We stayed at Ty Mabon for a week in early June, on a bird watching holiday.
The apartment was excellent with all the facilities we required. The location was ideally suited for our purpose. Only a short walk or drive to some of the many Bird sites in Angelsey.
The only downside was that the local pub didn't open Mondays & Tuesday (probably because of Covid) - so we had to drive to a nearby Restaurant.
We'll be booking again for later in the year

Fantastic, clean and all the facilities you need in this modern apartment. Also a excellent location to explore Anglesey. We will definitely come back!

Excellent base for exploring Anglesey. It's a lovely quiet location in Aberffraw, the beach and local walks provide great opportunity to get out and about. The local pub in the village, The Crown, serves good food and drink, and the staff are pleasant. The property at Ty Mabon is well maintained, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our week's break in Anglesey.

Tŷ Mabon fitted our needs perfectly. Tasteful, comfortable, well-designed and equipped self-catering accommodation. Great location in easy walking distance of the Aberffraw dunes with its wonderful flora and wildlife. Good base for visiting all parts of Anglesey by car. Convenient parking on-site.

Aberffraw is a wonderful location to get away from it all and Ty Mabon was brilliant - clean and cosy with everything needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend.

Delightful!
It was every bit as good as we hoped it would be. A very clean and well presented apartment. We would absolutely recommend it!

Ty Mabon-homely and snug.
This property was really comfortable and included everything required for a pleasant stay. Wonderful walks from the door and a very nice pub at the end of the road. Nothing else required really!

The apartment was everything we expected, clean, warm and very comfortable.
Somewhere we would recommend and definitely will return in the future.
Couple of improvements though, somewhere to hang wet coats( we were there during one of the weekend storms!)
Many of the reviews stated that the crown was dog friendly, which it is ,but has very limited areas to sit and have a meal with them .

I had a fantastic time here, plenty of walks, Anglesey Coastal path outside the door! South stack lighthouse and Yns Llanddwyn are a must see.
The accommodation is warm and comfortable, with plenty of hot water.
Plenty of parking space, and the pub just 2 minutes down the road, which serves good food, and local beers.

Walker or dog walkers paradise
I was pleased to find that the apartment was as clean and comfortable as listed. As a lady alone I felt safe in this complex and it fit the bill for lots of beach walks with my dog. This location and type of holiday suits outdoor types who are then happy to chill out during the evening with a book or tv. Will return.
