Let the stress of your life end and the adventure of vacation begin, the minute you pull into the drive way. Set away from the road and surrounded by trees this is the perfect coastal escape. Adorable 3 bedroom/2bath beach cottage. Lots of space when you first walk in the door, with an open kitchen/family room plan. Kitchen bar that seats 5 and table/chairs for 4. After dinner enjoy the backyard Gas fire pit with swings ,hammock and lots of privacy .If you would like to sit and watch TV and enjoy the firepit in the front of the house and enjoy watching your dogs in fence you have a perfect sitting area . Has totally Fenced in Yard for your 4 legged family member. The deck is gated as well but has access to the fenced yard so you don't have to ever worry about your dog getting out. You can relax on the porch or under the gathering area outside and watch your babies or baby play in the yard
Ready for bed, no problem, there are two queen beds and a set of double bunk beds which gives plenty of room for every family member to stretch out and have a space of their own. There is a TV in every bedroom/family room and Wifi throughout. Take your pick, walk in shower or shower/tub combo. Cool features of this house include a large front porch(with dog gate) to sit on after a full fun filled day at the beach, or walk around and grill out on the back patio. Want to go "totally island", try the outdoor shower, you'll never want to shower inside again. Very short walk to the beach, but just in case you need some extra hands, we have a beach caddy. And don't forget to use our Men's/Women's/Children's bikes to take a ride to the the local ice cream parlor after dinner.
Bring your clothes because that is about all you will need. sheets, towels, beach towels, chairs are all included. Lots of parking, so pack up and we will see you at Emerald Isle. Blue sky, white sand, beautiful ocean awaits.

This little house by the beach is a cozy spot for a small family to enjoy each other. Mary has done an amazing job taking this older home and making it the perfect beach hideaway. The walk to the beach is literally 2 or 3 minutes, if that. There are grocery stores nearby and a drugstore too. Great food is a 30 second drive away.

We so enjoyed our recent week at Beachbound! Such a cute and comfortable home for our family vacation, which included four adults and two pups. Beds were super comfy, great outdoor space, and the fenced yard was so nice for our dogs. Beach just down the street, Emma provides everything you need for the beach, including chairs, towels, beach bags, boards and toys. Emma was attentive and responsive to questions, a great host. Em’s beach house is truly a gem! One of the 1st signs I saw when arriving was “The most important things in life aren’t things” and when you walk in you feel right at home. The memories we made staying at Beach Bound will forever mean more than anything we could buy. You do not have to bring anything but your clothes, Emma has thought of everything to make this stay one of the best! Even her communication makes you feel like family and right at home. We will be back.

We had a wonderful week at Emma’s place! It was very clean and had essentials one might forget to back (such as toothbrush and shampoo). There were so many areas of outside space, our group had ample space to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, slow cooker, toaster oven, etc. Beach towels and linens were provided. All we needed to bring was ourselves and food!! Our 2 schnauzers loved hanging out on the front porch with us and running down into the fenced yard to chase the squirrels who were brave enough to invade their yard! S’mores in the back yard was made very easy with the gas fire pit. The beach is less than a 5 min walk and the beach wagon made it easy to take our beach stuff. We enjoyed bike riding with the bikes provided. We would highly recommend Emma’s place and will definitely be back!

This was the second stay at Em's place. It is at a great location, convenient to just about everything. A short walk to the beach, Fish Hut, CVS etc. Everything we needed was provided and the utility closet was full of beach supplies like chairs, umbrellas, etc. Thank you Em!

One of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stayed in through VRBO! We didn’t bring pets and would never have guessed anyone else had, except for the thoughtful pet supplies provided. This older home has been renovated with fun, modern beach decor. It has small bedrooms but makes up for it and multiple outdoor lounging/play areas. The owner provides dozens of board games, countless DVDs, and two well-stocked outdoor gear closets including corn hole, 8 bikes to choose from, new beach chairs, wagons, umbrellas, etc. The beach is a short walk away and you may spot deer along the route. Our family loved our visit and would definitely stay here again. :)

The house was perfect for our new dog's first trip to the beach. It was so nice to have coverings for the furniture provided, the fenced yard gave him a spot to be outside, and the outdoor shower made it easy to get the sand off him after being at the beach. Thanks so much!

Great place with everything a pet owning family might need. The attention to detail the owners put into this house to ensure their guests have a great experience is amazing. The outdoor living space was beautifully decorated and well designed. We would highly recommend this house. Communication with the owner was like texting with a friend. What a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and spend a memorable time at the beach. This beach bungalow has it all that you need and more. The beds were super comfy and we all got great rest. The dogs had the best time playing in the fenced yard- very hard to find! They were so happy for their first trip to the beach. The outdoor living space and porch were perfect. Lots of spots to relax outdoors. Em was a wonderful host that made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, including getting us a pair of shoes back we left behind. What a wonderful neighborhood with fantastic neighbors that made you feel a part of the neighborhood. A very quick walk to the beach with every beach need, including a beach cart, towels, chairs, umbrellas and the usual toys and games for a fun day at the beach. Bikes galore too. Lovely home and super clean. And the location is perfect…near everything! We will certainly be back! Thanks Em for a lovely relaxing week!!

Our stay in Beach Bound exceeded my expectations. The house was beautifully decorated and nicely updated. Many beach houses get worn out, but BB was lovely. I started every morning on the front porch with my coffee and dog. The swivel chairs were so comfy and the setting was peaceful. I appreciated all of the thought put into the house. There were a number of "just in case you forgot" extras for guests. It was amazing! The aspect that was most appreciated was the safety of the home for our beloved dog. Many beach houses claim to be pet friendly and are not. BB has a safe front yard for dogs to play, plenty of dog bowls already there for food / water and allowed us to truly relax knowing our girl was okay! Another important thing to note is the location of BB. You can literally walk anywhere. The beach is so close, but you can also walk to two grocery stores, putt putt, a shopping center, coffee shop and so many other spots....including one of our favs, Fish Hut Grille! I would recommend this home to everyone!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Even though we couldnt see the beach we could hear it very well. Loved the outdoor fenced in area for our two dogs, neighbors were very friendly and I had wonderful communication with the owner. I would highly recommend this property.

The trip was too short, but amazing. I had friends meet me who had not been to EI. They were impressed with the house, location, neighborhood and the extras the house offered. The owner is helpful, responsive and the best host I’ve worked with. It has been my go-to stay for many years. I would not hesitate to book the house again. It’s become my home away from home and it’s pet friendly!

I’ve stayed at this home numerous times over the years. The owner, and my stays, are always fantastic. It’s a great location, a very short walk to access, in a quite neighborhood, immaculately clean and kept, and has everything I need for a beach trip and more. I don’t know what it is about Beach bound, but my family and I absolutely love it. We have visited twice now, and I don’t have one negative thing to say. It is comfortable and welcoming. Very clean. Everything you need is there, which saves us from lugging a ton of stuff from PA. The location is perfect. You are not far from the beach, grocery store, and gift shops. The neighborhood is peaceful. Everyone we have encountered has been very friendly. The owner, Mary, is beyond pleasant, and communication is simple. Our son loves it. The dogs enjoy it. My husband and I are so relaxed. I can’t say enough about our trips here. The only thing missing was our Golden boy that passed away since our first trip. We are glad to have the memories with him there, as it was his first real beach trip at the age of 11. Thank you, again, Mary, for creating such a special place for families to enjoy.

We had a great time at beach bound!! Highly recommend, Emma is super nice and she made sure to check on us during our vacation, she’s close by which is nice 🙂 House had absolutely everything we needed! You can’t even tell the house is dog friendly, it’s so clean! Our dogs LOVED the house, very quiet and tucked back off the road which was amazing for my sweet boy with a noise aversion- tail wags all around!! Super close to the beach, and she even has a little beach cart for her guests to use, among various other beach necessities. When she says you only need to bring yourselves, she isn’t kidding! We will definitely be back, easily a top favorite vacation of ours! Thanks, Emma!!

We needed a vacation. Badly! Specifically, one that was low stress and ‘beachy’. We got all of that and more staying here. First, communication from the owner could not have been better. Seamless and immediate responses to any of my questions. Second, the facilities are excellent. The outdoor shower was a huge hit. There are so many outdoor accessories, we could not even use them all. Third, the house is so cool! It’s an older home, and the charm was evident immediately. Fourth, the ease to get to the beach was amazing. It’s literally a 2 minute walk. Finally, the entire ‘Salty Vibe’ is real. The neighborhood is quiet, calm, inviting, family oriented. We already scheduled a return visit.

This is our second visit to this cottage. We love that it is pet friendly. You can relax on the gated front porch in the morning and grill out in the backyard in the evening. There is an outside place to lounge in the evening too. Highly recommend this cottage. We rented a golf cart from Emerald Golf Cart and used that to run around the area. This cottage is a 5 minute walk to the water.

Awesome stay at this lovely beach house! So nice to have coffee every morning on the front porch and enjoy this comfortable dog-friendly home with our pups. We took several morning hikes and relaxed on the beach which is a short walk down the street. Loved how nicely decorated and fully stocked the home was with everything needed at this Emerald Isle oasis!

My family and friends really enjoyed our stay. This home had everything we needed. Our pup didnt end up coming along but she would have loved it and it was very accommodating for pets. There is a 4 to 5 minute easy walk to the beach which was made eaiser with the equipment provided. Beds were comfy as were all of the outdoor sitting areas. Thanks again for youe hospitality.

We had a great time staying at Beach Bound! The house is the cleanest rental home we have ever stayed in. Emma thought of everything we might need from linens to beach towels to pet care needs. There were four of us plus our three pets. We utilized the outdoor areas a lot during our stay. Everything is set up perfectly!

Our family loved it! My wife and children enjoyed our weekend at this house! My young children especially enjoyed the stash of toys they played with. We were able to sit on the front porch and play in the front yard. Easy walk to the beach which was beautiful! Close to shops and restaurants. Overall a wonderfulo experience in the host communicated with us during our stay. Are tiny Pomeranian puppy also enjoyed it. We may return again in the future!

The property and location were great, lots of outside options and short walk to the great beach. Property had everything you needed and was clean and ready to go. Owner was fantastic, our young beagle escaped her cage and then had an issue with the blinds, Mary was great about the damage and worked with us to resolve. Would stay again but prehaps not with the dogs :)

We have stayed at this home multiple times, and we cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Emerald Isle! Emma always goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable, and have everything we need. This house has EVERYTHING you need for your beach trip! Towels, canopies, chairs, sand toys, you name it! And the kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and utensils you’ll need. I promise, no matter how little you pack, you will still be overpacking when staying at Beachbound! Pet friendly, and stocked for the furbabies as well! Photos do not do this home justice! So many upgrades since our last visit! We always leave talking about how we cannot wait to come back. Thank you for always being so wonderful!
