Comfortable 3 Bedroom, 1 bath South Boulder Home. Full Kitchen. Living room with Flat Screen TV. New microfiber sofa! WiFi internet. Outdoor seating on patio. 1.5 miles to CU. Close to all that Colorado has to offer!

Kitchen has new appliances, new flooring, quartz and bamboo countertops, and a new coffee machine! The bathroom has been updated with new flooring, new vanity, and new tile.

Our 3 Bedroom South Boulder Home can accommodate families of up to 6 people.
Due to zoning in Boulder, we are unable to accommodate more than 3 unrelated guests.
Host occupies duplex apartment adjacent to the property with separate entrance.

Super convenient place for last minute family trip to Boulder

At the last minute the Heat was not working, but the unit owner contacted us and gave us options. Space heaters were made available and did the job, although we blew the circuit breakers a few times we made it work. Unit had dog and or cat hair in it and the washing machine needs to be cleaned out as it had a lot of animal fur inside. Beds were comfortable but the bedding needs to be updated and or cleaned better.

Martin Acres was a great location for our stay during my daughter’s graduation from CU Boulder. We were close to her house on the Hill, campus and all the restaurants. There was plenty of room for our family in the house. Communicating with the homeowner was very easy and pleasant. Our inquiries were always responded to immediately. I would stay here again.

Great location for visiting CU student. House is only 7 minutes from campus. No frills, with very dated furniture and amenities. Cleaning crew needs to clean under couches, as there was a ton of dirt and hair there. Owner is in attached unit. Tough to beat the convenience/price combo. Check-In was easy and parking on street was easy as well. One bathroom became a challenge for our family, aside from small inconveniences the house was fine.

After looking at a number of properties in the Boulder area we went with Alan’s place, mostly due to its great location in town. With a car, or bus pass, it was convenient to everywhere we wished to go. On arrival, we were surprised by the amount of wear and tear on the home and furnishings. The pictures focused on some of the upgrades that have been completed, without giving you a good feel for the overall worn condition of the space. It was also in need of a good cleaning, with dust and dirt visible under and behind furniture. It was not a good first impression and I would have preferred not to stay. It was warm the day we arrived and we went to turn on the cooling system. It didn’t work. A quick message to the owner was promptly returned. The A/C is not enabled for operation until the end of May. Even with cool nights and the windows open, it was too warm to sleep comfortably. Relative to other VRBO homes we have stayed in this one is a poor value for the price. We would not stay again.

This home is close to everything which is a plus. Neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Its great for your budget as most homes rent for much more. It did have a water cooled system which left things damp. It was not great for my allergies but I would stay at this home again. The home owner was great at returning our calls immediately and taking care of any problems.

We stayed here for a week and it was a perfect location for my kids to take their bikes to the shopping centers as well as go hiking nearby. Alan was very responsive with our needs- great communication. If we’re back in Boulder, I will be looking at this property again.

This property is a great choice if you are interested in basic, non-pretentious lodging in Boulder with room to spread out at a reasonable price. It was exactly what we needed and we had a great stay.The place has a fun layout and the landlords are nearby (downstairs) and available if needed but not overbearing. Check-in took about 10 seconds. Check-out procedures are nothing special and also quick at about 5–10 minutes.Next time we're back in Boulder, we'll check availability here first.
