We had such a great time at your vrbo. The owners gave us our privacy, I grew up in the area so visiting with friends and family was our objective. But we got more, we even hosted a dinner using the full kitchen. Thanks for the air conditioning and the wifi both are a must for us. You can see the updating to the cottage in progress. We loved walking to the beach see the sunsets. The only suggestion we have is putting in fans to circulate the air a little more and we might have just opened the windows instead of putting on the air. Thanks so much we enjoyed it!

Newly refurbished cottage, neat and clean interior. Fenced backyard a plus. Walked to beach every morning and evening, about 200 yds to sandy beach.. Dogs loved every bit too! Thanks

We had a great stay and really loved the house! The recent renovations are nice, and it’s one of the best equipped places we’ve ever stayed. The owner, Daniel, was super responsive. We definitely want to go back!

I was the first person to occupy this cottage after it had gone through a "down to the studs" transformation. The owner advised me there were still some minor things to be done (moulding), and there were, but it was a great renovation. About 400 feet from the beach, and you could walk or drive to the bars/restaurants in the area. I was looking for two weeks to get away and relax, and this was a perfect spot. I hope to go back next year.

This was a cozy cottage, perfect for our short stay to suprise family that live local. It was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely come back.

Clean, spacious, good mattress & thoughtful details like movie videos & beach chairs. The stairs to the second level twist & turn making it a little precarious if you have little kids or mobility issues. I just limited my trips up & down. I’d stay again.

This beach house how was perfect for me and my family! Cute and spacious inside with nice, big fenced in yard outside. The location was perfect as well...very short walk to the beach! We walked to Connor's one day for lunch as well which the kids loved. The house has everything you can think of so forgetting something is not a problem. Will definitely be returning next summer!

Beautiful location. We loved the area, the people we met and the beach. Carrie responded promptly to our needs. The fenced yard was awesome for our dogs. The front porch and back deck were so nice. Will definitely be back again.

This was a relaxing place to stay for a few days near the beach, which is an easy walk across the street. It's in a neighborhood and there is a bit of car traffic, but not a big deal. Carrie was great to communicate with, and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend if you need a place in the WNY area.

Great location! Enjoyed our stay for Wife's 50th birthday. Owners quick to respond if needed but give you full privacy. House is well stocked for those things you forgot. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

It was nice being close to the lake. Very steep and narrow circular stairs to the bathroom and bedroom level with no handrail was a challenge for us. Otherwise the place was fine.

We really like it. Very nice comfortable,clean, convenient. Beach is across the street. Grocery store are very convenient. The owner was very responsive. If you have any questions she answer them quickly. I would recommend this house if you family wants summer beach or just family vacation. .

Carrie and Dan were perfect hosts. The cottage was cozy, containing all the things necessary for a family to be away from home. The beach was across the street. They have a fabulous front porch and back deck, huge fenced in yard. I would recommend this place for a retreat/vacation.

Nice sized bedrooms and a very nice bathroom...Nice front porch and rear deck. Owners are great Very attentive and very friendly Very close to Evangola State Park and several other nice beaches... Love going to Connors for a burger and a shake!!? A little more car traffic than we were hoping for...and that’s our only negative and outside of the control of the owners for sure...

The house was super clean and comfortable. So much more comfortable than staying in a hotel. There were so many nice, homey touches. We really appreciated having a washer/dryer and full kitchen. The living room furniture was comfortable and cozy and provided a welcome place to crash after a long day. I will definitely stay here again next time we are in WNY.

The owners are great! The home is close to lake and the area is quite. We were there in the winter months, would love to see it during the summer.

We had a pleasant stay at Carrie's. The place is immaculate and getting in and out is very easy. The lake is just down the road and though it was not swim weather we did enjoy being able to hop on over and enjoy the beach for a bit. Ample space for a family of 5!

This house has everything you need and was clean and ready when we got there. Grocery store, drug stores, beer and liquor stores are all within a couple miles so it's easy to stock up or grab what you need almost anytime. As described, the beach is in short walking distance across the street and you can not only have your pick of space to lay your towel and cooler down but you can take a 3/4 mile walk on the beach to hit up a couple of bars! Carrie was very responsive prior to our stay and even checked in on us by text while we were there to make sure all was well. Great owner / host! We'll be back in the future! Thank you!

We have family in the Buffalo-area so we stayed for christmas and although there is not much to do around angola during the winter, we had a blast! the house was so cozy and my family and i played games and drank some local beers. We even ordered some pizza from the local establishment that was delicious. The owners decorated the house for Christmas for us, it was so nice. i would like to get back to this house for the summer, i'm sure it will be a whole different experience on the beach! we did bundle up and go down to the beach and even caught the beautiful sunset right across the lake. We had a great time

This property was located in a great place. Close to the area attractions. Cute little house with ample sleeping space for 6-7 people. Definitely would stay here again! Carrie, homeowner, was a sweet and easy to talk to person. She was available for anything you needed.

This is our second stay with Dan and Carrie, in what my wife calls the "Doll House." We were pleasantly welcomed by Carrie when we arrived, and even hugs were given, as if we were long lost friends. This made us feel so welcome. Also, a king size bed is a welcome addition from last year. The home was very neat and clean, and it is so cute, the way they have it decorated with the beach/lake décor. As I grew up about a mile from there, I pretty much know the area, and what it has to offer. Our main purpose was to visit family, and have a place of our own to chill after visiting. The beach was pretty much deserted, and we spent lots of time with our long walks and collecting the beach glass that kept washing up on shore. We also saw two Bald Eagles when we were at the mouth of Big Sister Creek. They seem to like the area near Wendt Rd, so if you are walking the beach, and can keep your eyes off the sand and the search for beach glass, look up into the sky and you may get the treat that we did. As I put in our first post from last year, the only sad thing about our stay was having to pack up and depart our "home for the week". We will be back next year, and hope to be able to stay for a longer period of time. Thanks to Dan and Carrie. You made our stay memorable.

First of all the owners, Dan and Carrie, were very helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had. The house, although the living areas are on the smaller side, was perfect for our family of 5. The front porch, and back yard really expanded the living areas! It was great going out on the front porch and having casual meals out there. The cottage came stocked with all kinds of helpful things and extras- like juice boxes, dog food, shampoo etc. It was easy to feel at home quickly. It was handy having the washer and dryer available throughout the week also. Definitely a plus returning home with almost no laundry. Unfortunately, the heating element broke and we returned with some slightly damp laundry. Again, the owners were great, apologetic, and I'm assuming got right on it. We had an excellent week, full of sunshine, and the beach is just a quick walk across the street, and down the stairs. The stairs to the beach are in horrible condition though, to be honest. I don't know who maintains them, but we had a couple falls. There are loose boards, railing issues, and nails sticking out throughout. Luckily, no real injuries. The only reason I rated our stay/the house a 4, instead of a 5, is because of the overall cleanliness, or lack thereof. The bathroom had a constant smell of urine despite using the bleach cleaner several times throughout our stay. The bathtub/shower is only suitable to shower. We brought our own pillows and blankets- thank God. When I stripped the beds before we left, one of the pillows clearly had water/sweat stains all over it. I have no clue how old that pillow could possibly be?? The blanket that covered the couch when you first enter had dirt marks on it- not a great first impression. Dust, and dust balls on light fixtures, we found dirty paper plates, and hair balls under the couches. Not that we were looking on purpose, but noticed while cleaning up after ourselves. The kitchen sink is rusty, and the sponge was obviously dirty when we arrived. Overall though we have so many memories from our stay. The only thing I could've asked for is a cleaner house. The space, location, owners, neighbors, were all wonderful!
