About this house rental
You’ll love our place because everything is brand-new and within a 10 minute walk to downtown Gilbert restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Also near San Tan Mall, movies theaters, Cactus Yards baseball fields, Freestone District Park, cities of Chandler, mesa and Tempe are 10 miles and Glendale is 60-90 minutes away.
The comfy beds are from Tuff and Needle and the home has an open floor plan. My place is good for couples, business travelers and families (with kids). The yard can be used for bar-b-ques, eating at the outside table, and kids playing.
Two cars can park in the 2 car driveway. The home, front and backyard are available to guest. Their is a basketball hoop that can be used in the 2 car driveway.
Gilbert Recreation center and park is 2 miles away. The gym has daily/weekly passes can be purchased. This Freestone Park district has playgrounds, train rides, carousel, skate park for scooters and skateboards.
Walking distances to Gilberts best and popular restaurants and entertainment and coffee shops.

The location is perfect for families. Two parks just a minute walk, downtown Gilbert right there. It’s a wonderful home, well cared for.

I wish I didn't have to give it 5 stars..
Because I'd like this home to be available to us anytime we are in the Phoenix area.
First off the hosts, were absolutely amazing. They answered any and all questions we had prior and during our trip.
They layout was even better than the photos provided.. and the cozy back yard was a great place to relax after those long days.
The best part was the location, it was 20 mins from everywhere we needed to go In Any direction ...
And a quick walk to the downtown core, which had a wonderful vibe, and even better food..
I recommend the Joe's real BBQ, Joyride taco house and of course for desert you got to hit up Topo for that prickly pear ice cream..

Many times when you rent homes, furniture is worn out, saggy etc. That was not the case here. It was very comfortable nicely decorated and only a couple blocks from downtown. The owners were very responsive and nice. Truly enjoyed our stay!

We chose this place for its wonderful location for our 6 week stay and it didn’t disappoint! Just a short walk away from downtown Gilbert and all of its fabulous places to eat! Never had to worry about parking! Another favorite place to walk to was the Gilbert Farmer’s Market! The house had everything we needed and our hosts answered quickly to any of our questions.

The house was exactly like the pictures! It was incredibly clean, owners communicated clearly and were easy to reach, and it was a great location! Perfect for my family’s 1 week stay!

We stayed two months on our first snowbird experience. House is just as described, everything you could need including fresh oranges from the tree every morning. Walking distance to Gilbert’s heritage restaurant district as well as Freestone Park. We also enjoyed the Freestone rec center. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds for ourselves and visitors. Amee and John are very responsive hosts for any questions we had.

The house was just as described! The convenience of being just a short walk to downtown Gilbert was amazing!!! The layout was person for my son who is special needs and wheelchair bound. Communication with John and Amee was top notch.

Quiet neighborhood
This is my second time staying here. We love the location and the house. It is super clean, the neighborhood is very quiet, and the home is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. We had a blast one night playing one of the games available to the guests.

The house is completely remodeled and very clean. We all slept well. The dogs loved the backyard. We were so close to downtown Gilbert which made meeting our relatives very easy.

Extremely clean house, great location!
I am a local and had recently sold my house and wouldn't be moved into my new one in time for visiting family to have a place to stay. I found this house right behind downtown Gilbert. It was myself and three other adults, along with our four children 2 years old and under. To start with, the house was the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). You would not have known anyone had ever even been in the house before. They must have an amazing cleaning service. The location was great, about a half mile walk to get to downtown Gilbert. If you aren't from here, downtown Gilbert has a ton of great restaurants and bars, and a farmers market on Saturday morning. There is a playground less than a half of a block from the house that we frequented. The house was pretty much completely remodeled and the interior was either new or like new, very modern. The owners were very quick to respond and very helpful. Overall it was an excellent home for families and I would highly recommend it!

Hidden Gilbert Gem
Adorable house hidden just next to downtown Gilbert. Accommodations were clean and well taken care of. We were able to walk to the historic Gilbert downtown area for meals and treats. Hosts checked in with us to make sure all was well. Great find that we hope to use again !

Beautiful, clean, split floor plan, attached garage home just blocks from Gilbert central!! Loved the convenience!! Quality shopping, grocery, drug store, Walmart, and of course, any type of eating venues you could ask for.... all within about a10 minute drive or closer!! The home had a wonderful living/ kitchen space and even outdoor covered dining AND lounging space!! We found the attached garage to be super convenient for entry out of the rain, and having a vehicle just a couple steps away from the door (older woman and injured man on the stay)!

Awesome place!
We loved this property! It was clean, quiet, great neighborhood/location, very spacious, well laid-out, and nicely updated. The king-size bed was super comfortable. It was awesome being able to park in the huge garage. The only thing that would have made this place even better would be a landscaped/xeriscaped backyard (rather than all rock), but that won't deter us one bit from staying here again.

Wonderful Stay
We stayed at John and Amee’s place for a few weeks. This house had everything we could need and more. It was exceptionally clean and organized. There were thoughtful touches throughout the house like extra blankets, pillows, and great appliances. The location was also perfect. We spent a lot of time walking on the Gilbert trail located a few minutes behind the house. It’s also a 10 minute walk to downtown. I would highly recommend this spacious house for other couples or small families.

Home away from home
Thank you for a great stay. It was an easy place to stay by making a great use of space. Updated and clean. We did our best to keep it that way. Our dog did eat a plant (so the owner will find a chair upside down over the planter..... our way of trying to keep her out of the planter... I’m so sorry!). The owner was amazingly responsive and it helped make our stay like a home away from home. Thank you so much!

AZ for the Winter
Everything was perfect and just as described. Amee responded quickly to all my questions. It is a well equipped house for cooking for longer stays, and its an easy to clean house. The neighborhood is older but perfectly located in walking distance to downtown Gilbert, where there is a farmers market every Saturday and an arts/crafts fair every other Saturday, plus wonderful restaurants and a great little live theater. There’s plenty of shopping and theaters nearby. Downtown Gilbert is a happening place. The house was clean. Fenced in yard and nice patio, which was great for enjoying Arizona weather. We’re returning next year!

Comfortable Family Place
Centrally located near downtown Gilbert. Was perfect for our visits with family members in both Chandler and Phoenix; and a short drive to the Apache Trail. The ranch style layout was more suitable than other two-story houses for some of our "seniors". Clean and comfortable. Would book again with a group of four or more.

Clean, well appointed, convenient
This property was perfect for our visit to Phoenix. The house is well appointed, all of our short term needs were thought of. Great location. Walking distance to downtown Gilbert and the multiple restaurants. The master and bath are separate from the other two bedrooms and bath. The house is very clean, newly redecorated. We didn't get to use the outside patio or Weber grill, too cold, but they looked very great. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Clean Convenient Comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely newly remodeled home in Gilbert, AZ. Walking distance to downtown with many places to eat and shop. All provided amenities in the home were first rate. Several strip mall shopping centers are a short drive the home. Our hosts, John and Amee were always available quickly responded if we had questions which, frankly, we had few since it was apparent that they had anticipated what guests in their home would need and enjoy. We would certainly recommend this property.
