No te esperas encontrar un lugar tan precioso como este.

Todo nos encanto, el lugar espectacular, la visita al dia siguiente del museo del Castello, la atención del personal, en especial Simona, que tuvo la paciencia de esperarnos, ya que llegamos un.poco tarde, debido al retraso del barco de Grimaldi.

Traumhafte Lage

In einer Burg zu übernachten ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Und die Lage direkt am Meer ist traumhaft schön. Man kann sehr gut am Strand zu Fuß in den Ort laufen.

Mit Englisch lief es leider nicht immer glatt. Die Matratze war etwas durchgelegend.

mi è piaciuta la location l'accoglienza

Non sono cose che non mi sono piaciute, ma dei piccoli miglioramenti -bisognerebbe comunicare che nella stanza non c'è sapone, shampoo all'atto della prenotazione, il distributore esterno era rotto. -Comunicare anche che è possibile portarsi alimenti perché c'è una sala comune dove consumarli.

Interessante Location an einem historischen Ort.

Die Lage direkt am Meer war einzigartig. Man muss aber wissen, das ab Oktober die Saison in Santa Severa vorbei ist. Kein Restaurant ist mehr geöffnet, der Ort ist wie ausgestorben.

Die Räume (v.a. das Bad) waren im Vergleich zu den Bildern schon etwas „abgewohnt“. Zudem war uns nicht bewusst, wie laut das Meer durch die Brandung ist. Die Ausstattung des Gemeinschaftsraumes war gut, aber auch hier gibt es immer noch Luft nach oben, z.B. gab es nur wenig Besteck.

Awesome stay

Views were amazing, room was comfortable and quiet, and very close to the beach. There's a bar right outside the entrance which was also very convenient.

I guess the previous guests forgot to put the towels up for washing, and there were no clean ones. No biggie just bring your own.

Good location but need better cleaning and maintenance

The location in the castle 🏰 just by the beach.

The room was not clean, dusty and broken doors of the shower. Also we had mosquitoes 🦟 bites in bed, not sure what it was, but for sure was not able to sleep. Otherwise the property itself and staff was nice and helpful but needs better maintenance and Clening. Also missing breakfast.

It's a freaking castle!

difficult to get to from the train station. You have to walk the whole way. There are no taxis. The castle may not be the best place for someone with mobility issues.

We really enjoyed our brief time at this charming castle. I hope to return some time.

The blend of modern comforts within a historic castle is something I didn't expect to work, but it does!

The food options in the area were a bit limited during our stay. We should have done a little more research ahead of time.

This property is fantastic, the room is great, so unique. choose the balcony - you will not be disappointed!

Such an amazing experience to stay in such a unique place!

The bathroom could have been better, quite basic for such a lovely property. For example there was no way of keeping the shower head to the wall, you had to hold it in your hand as you washed. Also, why no TV? the room was clearly designed for one with power socket and aerial?

Can anything be more fun than a night at a giant medieval castle?

Wonderful unique historical place with beautifully restored, big, comfortable rooms, equipped with air conditioner, balcony, boasting great sea views. You can only hear the sea when you open the window, else it is very quiet. Location is amazing and very romantic, and you get a great experience of living at the medieval castle in return. Great fun to stay here. There is a nice modern shared kitchen with coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator. Free parking, good wi-fi, helpful staff. Beautiful beach.

No restaurant on the site. Santa Severa is a quiet place with no many options for dinner, but Santa Marinella is only 10 min drive with nice restaurants and bars. The staff was helpfull, but they did not speak english. It is not wise to come with plentiful or heavy lugages, the castle is really large, and the reception is many cobbled streets avay from the main gate.

it was magical staying here. Weather was sunny and cool nights

Really cool place to stay, not fancy but the location is amazing. The sea was just below our private balcony. Nice beach next to Castle, there is a large common room where you can prepare and eat your food. Free parking a short distance away for hostel guests

We knew it was a hostel so do not expect full restaurant on site. there is a cafe by the entrance with limited hours.

Nice place but check what is open before you travel

Location good but facilities on site could be improved. Offer of takeaway food perhaps or the opportunity to order from the cafe in advance.

There is not much open or available on certain days out of season so some kind of food offer is important.

Beautiful location but accommodations were limited. It was an OK experience. 6/10

How can you beat sleeping in a castle by the sea? one of our rooms opened to a beautiful sea view.

The staff wasn’t very helpful. Yhe place had peculiarities like getter a parking ticket and having to have it validated every time you want it to leave. It said that the kitchen would be available for you to cook your meals, but that was very slim and difficult to use. There was no personal connection so you were just a number to be checked in/out.

Exceptional

Great location on the sea coast with wonderful view. Is comfortable for families with children as well. Everything is clean and it's warm inside. Staff are friendly and helpful. Really great experience here!

In the description there's an information about all included accomodations so it's not a big problem but it would be really great to have a little soap in the bathroom

We stayed there end of October and enjoyed the quietness of the area, space on the beach, good connection to Rome via train (1-2 connections per hour).

The location in an old Castello was amazing. Lovely views of the beach and sea. Close to the airport by car.

I guess I should have realized this was a true "hostel" before booking, but the price reflected a place with the amenities usually found in a normal tourist accommodation. The room was a bit like a prison; cement walls, metal beds, towels, and nothing else. Not even any soap to wash up and forget about a cup (even a plastic one) to drink a little water. I told the receptionist that I would need to leave early for the airport and needed to get my car out the gated carpark; she said it was no problem just use the ticket I got when coming in. Of course at 7AM the gate wouldn't open and I was worried about making it to my flight. Finally got it straightened out but it was a hassle.
