Local area and beaches
There are 2 villas on this beautifully quiet 4 acre property. They look out onto farmland and are surrounded by vegetation local to the area. A resident male koala regularly puts in an appearance, kangaroos are often in the paddocks early, echidnas wander through occasionally and lots of bird species abound. The inlet is accessible by road or a 1.5km walking/riding track (20 minutes). The inlet is a fantastic place to spend the day either fishing, swimming, boating, SUP boarding or sailboarding providing car access onto the beach. The surf beach access track is approximately a 1km walk which will give access to the quiet unmanned part of the Sandy Point surf beach . A further 0.5kms will take you to the main Sandy Point Beach and Sandy Point Surf Lifesaving Club. The Sandy Point beach is absolutely stunning and a great place for a family day out swimming, surfing and boogy boarding or just for lazing around on the beach. Had a wonderful break at Banksia villa. Far enough away from the main holiday drag to be surrounded by open country with great ambience and outlook, with amazing and varied birdlife, yet a short distance to the main drag. And Deanne was a friendly, helpful and very welcoming host - we’ll be back!

It would be hard not to have a peaceful holiday down by Shallow Inlet; one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Deanne has so much pride in her immaculate villas; they were spotless and inviting. If you like to and can remember how to cook real food you'll find every utensil supplied. Brilliant and relaxing. We'll be back soon.

We enjoyed 2 nights at Driftwood with 3 children, beautifully presented, clean, well maintained property. Plenty of room for the children to run around and have a game on the grass and close to walking trail to Shallow Inlet. Great kitchen and fully self contained. A peaceful family weekend break, Thankyou.

We had a fabulous mini break at Driftwood Villas. Very clean villa and comfortable. Great property with fabulous views. 1.5kms to the inlet and to the main beach. Wildlife at your doorstep...koala in the gum tree right outside the door! Would recommend the property. Sandy point did not dissapoint - yet again! Thanks Deanne.
