We had a great time at this spot! It fit our group of 6 perfectly, the pool was clean and amazing, it has great views, quick walk to town.
The only thing to note was that on the listing it shows it is on the other side of town, but the location ended up being great for us.
Jose was super communicative the whole trip. Will absolutely stay here again.

Property is very run down and needs considerable updating. Washing machine went off balance with even the smallest loads and neighbors told us its been like that for 4 years, back when they used to stay in the suite. Many lights burnt out, pillows were absolutley disgusting once we took off the cases to wash them mid stay. Many outside chairs broken and cushions were ripped up beyond repair.
No TV when we arrived and when it was delivered we were made to set it up. Terrible smells in the bathroom and the suite at times (sewer gases?) so we bought air freshner which helped.
Note that the site says air conditoning however there is no air conditoning in the main living area - bedrooms only. Had to really push to get a blanket for one of the bedrooms (top sheet only) and was told they don't offer them because then guests will then use the air condtioning. The living area was terribly hot and uncomfortable. The kitchen was poorly supplied, e.g. not one wine glass, all plastic and cheap glassware.
Lastly the hot water, was either scorching or non existent.
Pros: spacious, incredible views, pool was clean. On a combi bus route. Property manager was nice and responsive, replacing things when asked.
In my opinion this property has great potential, if the updates were done it would be worth the asking price.

This house is awesome in so many ways ! The house itself is really well built and maintained, the view is stunning, the amenities are complete, super clean. Don't worry, when you first arrive you may think.."oh jeez, all these steps" but after a few days you'll learn to appreciate the 12 min walk into town and live the neighborhood. I'll do it again. And the manager Amato, is really great !

We were 5 adults and one infant (11 mos) and the three bedrooms were perfect for us. It was great all bedrooms had a bathroom (though the bathrooms did all have a musky odor we could have done without). The views of the bay are spectacular and the outdoor space is super comfortable and perfect for hanging out with a group. The pool is shared with one other condo and we loved our neighbors, so it worked out great. It is shallow, like 6 inches deep on one side and then about 5ft deep on the other with submerged bar stools in the deep side. It's not a far walk from downtown (abt 10-15 min), but you do get a chance to work off your dinner as it's a lot of stairs in the path down. We did breakfasts at the Wyndham hotel a few doors down because nobody was ready to take on the stairs that early! The property manager was very kind and responsive - we let him know the coffee pot was broken and we had a new one within 30 min. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place and view you can’t beat
Jose was a gracious and responsive host. All our needs were met by Armando ( water, basic necessities, taxis, information). Very nice place for friends and family to stay. Close walk to Zihua and very friendly people around there. Can’t say enough good about the place and the safe surrounding area. Just keep in mind the stairs to the street are your workout so you won’t need a gym.
Thanks again Jose

Outstanding view
This property has one of the most spectacular views of Zihuatanejo and the bay. The amazing daily sunrises and the view of the town at night are breathtaking. Jose's condo was very clean and maintains that unique Mexican flavor. Amado, the property manager is wonderful and readily available if needed. The owners of several of the other properties were also around during our stay and were very friendly and helpful.
The many steps leading to and from the property can be challenging, but taxis are available if you are not up to the task of climbing about 130 stairs. For us, it was well worth the climb because this property affords a complete view of all of Zihuatanejo bay and its lovely beaches.
Jose was easy to work with and quick to respond to email. His pricing and cancellation policy were also a factor in choosing this rental. If you are looking for a large (three bedroom/four bath) condo with a Mexican flair, this could be the place for you.

The property was within a short walking distance to Zihuatanejo and access to a number of beaches. The unit met our needs during our month long stay - great outdoor patio area and pool. The caretaker was attentive and responded quickly to our requests. The unit could do with a refresh and upgraded bedding but other than that it was good value. Lots of stairs but we didn’t mind the exercise.
We would recommend it and stay here again.

Big beautiful place with a great view!
We really enjoyed our stay, the place is huge and my nicer in person. The pool was lovely and got sun until around 2pm. The only issue we had was there was no hot water in any showers for the majority of our stay. This didn’t matter much as it was so hot, but was something we missed.
All in all we had a fantastic time and enjoyed the space!

Our unit had three rooms with three bathrooms. It was very comfortable. Amado is the caretaker and he was there when we arrived. Boo-boo, the dog, is part of the complex and is a wonderful dog. Unit was comfortable and the pool great! The bathrooms did not have a clean smell, and this was the only negative aspect.Amado offered to take us to the airport after our stay and his price was on par with the local taxi drivers. We very much appreciated it!!Thanks,Anette

One of the most beautiful properties. You will love choosing this house.
The house was incredible. Everything was decorated to give the home a warm feeling. It had all the appliances you would need. Coffee maker, blender, washer and dryer. The home also had incredible views.
Helpful Hints around the area.
1. Almost all prices are haggled. Know the price before you do anything. Taxis are the worst. You might pay 80 pesos to 200 for the same trip. It's 250 pesos from the airport to this house.
2. When you land at the airport you will be swarmed by people selling different things. Hotel time shares to transportation. Walk past them and go outside to to the taxis yourself. If you are approached by a guy named Vincente who was standing by the exit 4 diffenent times I had to pick people up. ...Run. He is bad news.
3.If you plan on walking alot this house is fantastic. There are 150 steps down to the bay and a lot of attractions. (They are also 150 steps back up and in 4 days my legs felt like jelly. But it was a great workout) So down the steps and go left you will pass by the casa bahia restaurant. (Keep walking. Over priced but it was a nice place to have a couple of drinks) Go until you see a bridge on your right and go over that bridge. You will be in the beginnings of shops and restaurants. You will see water taxis as well. This is the place to spend a lot of your time. 1st Lilly's restaurant was incredible and the prices were great.
4. Water taxis are 50 pesos. You can go a few places but I recommend The Island of cats. I don't remember but listen for Gatos. It's a small beach lined with restaurants. No waves for kids. The beach was pretty busy but we had a wonderful time. It also had a nice place to snorkel for amateurs. Manzinilla beach was beautiful, had almost no people and the snorkeling was a step up. More for grown ups.
5.We rented a boat for about 5 hours. There were 7 of us. We paid 2500 pesos. I heard we could have got that down to 2000. This was the highlight of the trip. The Captains name was Hipolito Hernandez. The boat was called the Happy Hooker. We left out 10 am. We went to Manzinilla to snorkel and then to sight see. While we went around we fished. We caught 3 total and 1 was huge. We went to Gatos beach where 1 restaurant cooked the fish for us. A little over priced since we brought the fish but was incredible. While out we saw a dolphin but we also saw 3 Humpback whales. 2 were about 40 foot long and 1 baby.

Perfect for our group!
We stayed here for about two weeks and really enjoyed the space. It is nicer than the pictures show. The three bedrooms are upstairs with two sharing the balcony and overlooking the bay. The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed and the other two are made up with twins or kings depending on what you need. Each bedroom has a nice closet and bathroom. There is also a powder room on the main floor off of the living area and another in the pool area. The kitchen is great with a gas range and adequately sized refrigerator. There is an indoor and an outdoor dining area and a really nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view and the cool breeze. The pool was nice and clean and shared by the unit next door with chaise lounges and chairs. There is easy access to town down the stairway but you would not want to stay here if you had mobility issues and cannot handle stairs. Drinking water was supplied and the caretaker, Amado, brought a new jug when we needed it. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Zihuatanejo.

Construction, blankets, and hot water...
I would say that the view from this condo is absolutely stunning! Our family stayed for three nights and found that the house was accomidating to many of our needs. We did have some issues that can’t be overlooked. We had 8-6 construction/jack hammer going on in the condo below for two out of the three days we were there. Luckily they don’t work on Christmas Day. If we went out to the beach all day it wouldn’t have been as much of an issue I guess, but we hung out at the condo most of the days. I know it’s warm outside, but only one out of the three rooms had blankets on the beds... only sheets. Luckily they had 3 brand new single blankets in the closet. Surprised the previous guests wouldn’t have needed a single blanket. Each room had a.c. Which worked great. Also hot water had not been turned on for our first night. Everyone had cold showers until the care taker came and “flipped” the valve for the hot water tank the next morning. We also paid a cleaning fee but plenty of dust could be wiped from the inside on the dinner table top. Sorry for the harsh review, but I run a vacation rental in my state and these things wouldn’t have been acceptable for most of my guests. I’m sure these things will be taken care of for the next guest that stay. I also understand you can’t help construction. The beach is amazing!

Fantastic view, wonderful location, great size and layout
The condo is nice. Just a little worn down but nothing to deter you from staying. You share a pool with one other unit. Perfect. Wonderful outdoor sitting area and table. Beaches within walking distance. A little corner store just a short walk around the corner for grabbing juice, tortillas, etc. The owners are great. There is a resort just down a few doors has a restaurant. There are two more restaurants just down the stairs that have great views. Our trip was fantastic.

Great stay in a wonderful space.
We spent five days here after initially five in Ixtapa.
We took a taxi and I put the address in Mapquest and it was fine.
We met the property manager, Amado, at the property. He gave us a quick
tour. Amado was extremely gracious in providing taxis availability, eating choices,
and even connected us with Jorge that took us on a 3 hour snorkeling trip.
There are stairs on the property. Don't let this deter you though. Upon arrival
you go from the top down about 80 stairs to the 3 bedroom place. When you
go to town you go down about 20 stairs and then beneath the unit through a tunnel.
On the other side of the buildings there is the balance of 80 stairs going to the street
below. The walk to town is about 15 minutes. Go across the bridge and you are at the entrance to town and near the pier. We ate at Daniels twice and Bandito's once. Daniels was fantastic for lunch and dinner. We walked the entire beach front. Part of it is with a path.
We went snorkeling to Las Gatas and with Gorge around the bay to Man?? something. This is the place that the big sailboat goes too and only accesible by boat.
The place has two floors. The kitchen, dining, one small bathrom, and laundry room are located on the main floor. The 2nd floor is the two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and then the master bedroom with a walk in closet and large bathroom. The master bedroom and one of the other bedrooms share the balcony with sliding glass doors.
The building is like a six plex and you share a very nice small pool with others. We met Gary that owns four units. He uses Amado and part owner. It is a good team. Gary was there for a couple of days and then another family and friends checked in. So socializing is an option.
The unit has everything you need for supplies. Ten minutes out the door along the road leading to town are two very nice small restaurants. We went to the hillside twice and the beach side once.
The only draw back I see is that if you have another couple that both the extra rooms only have twin beds. We would choose to go back with another couple if this was updated. Just my suggestion!
Location was out of the main area which we liked. No crowds of people! Close to town.
The sun was there in the morning and then in the afternoon it was cooler because you were facing East.
Thank you for having us for our vacation in Mexico.

Great views in this big house with pool
This is a great house for a family looking to spend time in and around the city,. Since the view was so great and the pool was just off the dining room, we spent an entire day just "at home". The house looks recently painted and clean. The neighbor was very helpful,
