About this house rental
Our four bedroom, four bathroom lake front house in Hot Springs Village has it all! This 2800 square foot two level house has been completely renovated, remodeled and updated. Prepare yourself for the breath taking and spectacular lake view!! Sit by the waterfall and enjoy the lovely sunsets over the water.
The kitchen, dining room, living room (queen size sleeper sofa and big screen TV) with large stone fireplace, master bedroom/bathroom and a bedroom with adjacent bathroom are all on the main level. Both of these large bedrooms have king size beds and French doors leading to the upper deck. The bathrooms each have twin sinks with granite counter tops and cultured marble walk-in showers with dual shower heads. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, pot, pans, utensils, etc, etc. Also on this level is the washer/dryer.
The lower level has a large family/game room with a pool table and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The lower level can be reached either by the internal staircase or the external ramp. The ramp is not as gently sloping as ADA requirements for full wheel chair access, but it allows access with assistance. The first bedroom has a king size bed and a wheel chair accessible bathroom (36” wide doors, shower with fold down seat, hand held spray, hand bars, etc.). The second bedroom has twin beds and adjacent bathroom with tub/shower. The large family/game room has a big screen TV and a sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have French doors leading to the lower deck.
There are TVs with DVD/VHS players in three bedrooms and the living room. Unlimited local and long distance telephone service and high speed Internet (Wi-Fi) is also provided. There are five kayaks and a pedal boat, with life jackets, available for your use. We have two pontoon boats , aka party barge, available for rent by our guests. They are shared with our other two properties, on a first come basis.
You will have to come and see for yourself and enjoy all the amenities HSV has to offer, including golf, boating, hiking, fishing and many other attractions in nearby Hot Springs, Little Rock and Crater of Diamonds Park. See you soon!
If you have a group that is too large for this house, see the listing for our house on San Mateo Place, VRBO #160563, which sleeps 6-8 people and is only a short distance away. Our third Lake DeSoto house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeps 8-10 and has great lake views and access, VRBO #134164. We will do a package deal if you rent multiple houses! In the summer, June through August, we rent with a one week minimum, Sunday to Sunday.

The house is in a wonderful location with quick access to the water. Owner was on top of everything. Responded and handled any issues we had quickly and fairly. Kitchen has every utinsil you could need. Access to the water and the kayaks and paddle boat was great. Everyone having their own bathroom was great. Will definitely visit again.

We came to the village for a family reunion. Two families with adults, tweens and teens stayed at the property. We enjoyed access to the lake, ample deck seating, the pool table and proximity to the entrance gate/access to stores outside of the village. The house has some maintenace items that could use attention (loose boards on dock area, poor lighting especially in kitchen work/counter areas), but the house met our needs and expectations overall. The host was responsive throughout the booking and stay. Thanks for hosting our families.

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice location on Lake Desoto.

This was a guy's golf trip. Since there was 4 of us, it was nice to have 4 br's and 4 bathrooms. The house has a good view of Lake Desota from the deck, but the owner has let a tree grow up in front of it blocking a very nice view. Other than that small issue the house suited our needs and was close to a grocery store and several restaurant's. We had a problem with the AC not cooling but as soon as I called the host, Cor, he was right over and fixed the problem. Overall, I would say a nice house.
I will say if you're there to golf it is about a 20-minute drive to most of the courses. Whereas if you're on the east end it's a 5-10 minute drive.

The home was amazing and was perfect for our group of 4. The host went above and beyond and helped make the trip more special.

The house is great for a big family. The view is gorgeous. Our group was 7 older adults. Cleanliness was the main issue. The coffee pot had amolded coffee grounds in the filter. The coffee cups that were turned upside down in the cabinets were very dirty. We were skeptical of the silverware. One of the downstair bathrooms had mold and plumbing issues. The heat difference from downstairs to upstairs was extreme.

The house was more than adequate as far as space and supplies (like kitchen, essentials, etc) except for forks. Need more forks for larger groups. Great view of the lake, quiet. The dishwasher quit working (wouldn't pump out water) and my husband notified the owner who said he was out of the country and would notify the property management. Would have been nice to have been compensated somehow for that inconvenience. When we came in, there was a can of pledge and a dust rag on the dining room table which is easy enough to put away. Overall, good place to stay, nice location, could use some updates.

The place was nice and good to spend a weekend getaway. The porperty is affordable, clean and safe, and the owner is responsive as well. They let us in by 12nn which was very helpful for us to get some rest after driving 7hrs from Houston, TX.. Overall, it was an awesome stay….

This home is right on the water with lake views from every room. Each bedroom has a bathroom and the layout is very accommodating. The inside was very clean, but it could use some updating. The pool table is an added bonus with its own room connecting to 2 bathrooms, with seating and a TV. However, every pool stick was missing tips. The outside of the home has 2 porches that can be accessed from the inside or outside. With 5 Kayaks, a party barge, and a pedal boat, it accommodates a large group to enjoy the lake. Nevertheless, none of these were available for use. Paddles were picked up and the party barge was not available for rental use. I understand the reasoning, but it was not made known prior to our stay that these amenities would not be available. Very disappointing! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked! Overall, our time here was satisfactory minus the use of outside equipment and the pool table. (Due to broken sticks)

Home was a 4BR/4BA. Nice layout for our family.
Home could use some TLC. It is an older home that has great bones. It was a bit musty, but fine after we added some air fresheners. A broken chair in the den had a “Do not use” handwritten sign, probably would be best to just remove or replace.
Landscaping did not look like photos. The water feature was not functioning and trees over grown and blocking the beautiful lake view.
The location was great and neighborhood very nice. We loved the decks and seating outside. We will save this house to book again when back visiting family.

Second time we've stayed at this house. Cor is great to work with. Will definitely stay again

We play an annual golf tournament every year. This house is the perfect location for us to enjoy all the courses. We try to stay here every time.

6 of us stayed on the property for 3 days. We were very pleased with the house as well as with vicinity in general. House was equipped with everything that needed to make us to feel like we are at home. Weather was perfect not too hot. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay there.

This is a beautiful property, right on the lake, peaceful, and fun. After many bumps in the road with health issues for my family, we were able to stay the week. Property owner was very accomodating. Love the location of the property on the lake. Cleaning could be a little better but was acceptable. THANK YOU FOR A GOOD WEEK!

Good and functional property. I would definitely recommend for large groups and look forward to renting again.

We had a very good time. The kids especially enjoyed fishing ans kayaking. The sunsets from the dock are spectacular!

family reunion. had 42 people in four properties around the lake, two homes with Cor. Pontoon boat was so much fun and Cor last minute extra day with the boat was very nice. We left behind a new large round float on purpose for other families to enjoy. fishing rods were for the most part have seen better days but we were not there to fish. drive way cracks were a hazard as they created an uneveness to the surface and had one fall...a minor knee scrape. also the ramp needs a board replaced. Next time we come we'll do a better job of compacting our aluminum trays to give more room in trash cans. A wonderful time was had by all. thank you.

We absolutely loved our time at this property! The lake is so beautiful and access to the water was just outside the back doors. Cor is a fabulous host and is always available via phone and in person if needed! The house has lots of space for adults and children to hang out together. We loved having a pool table and game room. We rented a boat from Cor and had a blast fishing and swimming in the lake. All the tourist attractions in Hot Springs are within a 30 minute drive and the surrounding scenery is lovely. This is our second visit to Hot Springs Village and we will definitely continue to visit in the future!

Access to paddle boat, kayaks, and boat rental.

We are a big blended family and this house was perfect for us. There was enough room for our entire group to spread out. The kids enjoyed the downstairs area while the adults enjoyed the quiet views from upstairs. We spent alot of time on the lake using the kayaks and pedal boat. This is definitely a property we would stay at again!

This was our second time staying at this house. It’s a great size with each bedroom having its own bathroom. We rented the pontoon boat which was a lot of fun.
4.8
Family vacation for 8 adults and 2 children was ideal. Situated right on the water with a dock, Cor had a pontoon available for rent, but allowed us to bring our own. Tubing and cruising the 600 acre lake, we came and went several times a day. Neighborhood was right in to the village with friendly neighbors all around. Proximity to to Hot Springs was only about 20 minutes for shopping and sightseeing. Cor was very responsive to all our needs and questions. Highly recommend this rental.

If we come back to Hot springs village this is where we will be staying!

Really enjoyed this property. Clean and a beautiful view of lake desoto.

The property was in a great location and a great size for six guys on a golf trip. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and very helpful.

This beautiful lakefront property is in an ideal location. Four bedrooms and 4 bathrooms made it ideal for our group of 7. Cor communicated promptly and was very helpful in allowing us an early check-in. The property had everything we could ask for and more. We will stay again if we find ourselves back in Hot Springs Village!
4.8
This house had everything we needed for a wonderful Spring Break. We were very comfortable and satisfied with everything.
4.8
We had 10 adults and had a great stay! The property is beautiful and represented online exactly as it is in person. I highly recommend this property!
4.8
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean, & well stocked. It was very accommodating with 3 king bedrooms & a twin bedroom. I really liked that it had a full bath for each bedroom. The only thing I would change is the bbq grill is on the lower deck , it would be more convenient if it was on the upper deck close to the kitchen. All in all our stay was AWESOME!
4.8
The only thing I would say, is the distance from actual Hot Springs is further than you think. Also the driveway is a bit steep, just a heads up. Other than that, beautiful location, and house. We and my family will be back.

Comfortable home. Didn’t receive promised passes to access facilities in Hot Springs Village. (Golf, pickle ball, etc)

I was absolutely in love with this house! The kitchen had a bit of everything which was great for cooking our Friendsgiving meal! We had small children and there was plenty of space for them to play and be safe! There was also a baby gate for the stairs! The guys loved the pool table! Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

This was a very nice property for our group of 7 to share. It was clean, and was located right on the lake. We all enjoyed our stay. We used the kayaks provided and enjoyed sitting out on the dock and the two decks.

They have to work a little bit more in the cleaning of the property

cor was very easy to work with on any issues that came up and provided awesome advise on the area..

The location of this house was beautiful. Lake DeSoto is small, but peaceful and pretty. The views from the bedrooms and downstairs were great! The upstairs view is obstructed by trees. I am surprised they had not been cut back. This felt very much like a rental house, not someone’s home. For instance, the rain shower leaked cold water while taking a hot shower. There was mold in the caulk, holes in the couch and chair upstairs. There were very few spoons. A few lightbulbs were burned out. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The kayaks were what made the house for us. It was very peaceful and you could kayak from one end to the other in about 20-30 minutes. Since the lake is so small we decided to rent a boat on Lake Ouachita. It was worth paying double and driving to. For tubing and views it was awesome! Everything in the house was just ok. It has good bones but needs some TLC. I am giving it 4 stars because it was a good value. Cor was a helpful and very nice host.
