The property is clean, and very comfortable. The view of the water is restful and never tiring. It's an easy walk to downtown and great road bike from the house.

Many very good qualities. Quite responsive when needed. And only real downside is the lack of one comprehensive set of instructions about appliances etc. would have obviated the need for calls. Overall a very positive experience.

Sausalito at its best
Lovely stay at Harrison house. Teresa was a perfect host. So accommodating and flexible as plans evolved. Hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Perfect little spot in Sausalito
Harrison House could not have been lovelier. My stay was part of some unfortunate circumstances, and although I would have preferred to have been in my own home, Harrison House was as perfect an alternative as could be. The view is beautiful and the neighborhood charming and quiet. The owner has made this place homey and inviting without giving the feeling that you're invading somebody else's space, with details from the stones loving placed under the bathroom window to the comfy chair in the perfect phone spot. I found everything I needed (scissors! tape! Ziploc bags!). It was the home away from home that I needed.

Lovely Nest on the Hill
The Harrison House was a perfect place to stay and take in the true atmosphere of Sausalito living. The two bedroom two bath unit is small but incredibly comfortable and efficient. The partial bird’s eye view of the bay was wondrously beautiful. It’s all part of the calming effect the Love Nest exudes. The town center and ferry landing are down the hill, a number of flights of stairs, but the small hike is rewarding with Great Expectation surroundings of shrubbery, plants and flowers back-dropped by small churches, large residences, and sneak peeks at the water and finely groomed park below. All this and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, with a welcoming basket of goodies that were the best we’ve ever experienced. This left not only the finest taste on the tongue but like all of Harrison House—the most aromatic of memories. We’d like to extend our deepest appreciation to our most gracious host.

The best of Sausalito
I stayed from mid-March - April and absolutely loved it. The unit is located on the first floor of a 2 story walk up that houses 4 units. The unit has beautiful views of the bay and is a quick 7 minute walk down to the ferry, which takes you to San Francisco. I worked in the city so I took the ferry almost everyday.
The entire unit was also nicely finished and furnished. We cooked dinner many nights with the high end appliances.
Overall, the place felt like home from the moment we walked in. Irma and Teresa were extremely responsive and helpful if we needed anything. We hope to go back one day!

except for sketchy phone reception, place has everything you could possibly need. Great location!
Very nice neighborhood and building. Quiet, safe, lovely view. Fabulous location. Though we were mostly out early and back to sleep, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Linens were wonderful. 2nd bedroom is quite small but still worked for us. We were here to help with a new grand baby so didn’t spend a lot of time in the unit but quite nice place.
Washer and dryer a plus though we didn’t have to use it. Kitchen seemed to have everything necessary though we only used it for morning coffee and tea. Lovely stay!

Just a heavenly experience!
I hardly know where to start. We came from Canada to the San Francisco area for two weeks to see and experience places and sights that had been on our bucket list for years. Whatever made us choose the Sausalito community for our home base was our first stroke of brilliance! Our second stroke was booking Harrison House. What a cozy, comfortable place to call home with all of its charming decor and useful amenities. This condo is truly a winner with its awesome location up a few winding streets (or the formidable staircase to and from the waterfront, if you are on foot!) and the spectacular views of the bay and the city of San Francisco in the distance. We were lacking for nothing in the condo, thanks to careful and thoughful efforts by everyone involved and in fact were greeted on arrival with a generous welcome basket of lovely treats as well as fresh cut flowers. This was such a nice touch!
If I were to suggest anything to future guests, it would only be to bring your own alarm clock! Everything else is there for you.
Once again, many thanks to Teresa and her helpers for making our stay at Harrison House so delightful and our visit to this breathtakingly beautiful area a memory to cherish!

Charming quaint retreat that felt like home.
Clean and comfortable. Close proximity to Sausalito and San Francisco. Irma was a pleasure to deal with and responsive and helpful during our stay. You are quickly made to feel welcome and the basket of 'goodies' were very much appreciated. The views of the Bay were magnificent while having our morning coffee. Would highly recommend to others and hope to come back again next year. Thanks Teresa and Irma !!

Perfect place to relax
We stayed at Harrison house for 9 nights. It was our first time staying in Sausalito and it was in an ideal location. It's quite hilly but we got to know the area and how to get around using the somewhat hidden stairs. The apartment is very well appointed, with a yummy basket of goodies welcoming us. My husband and I really enjoyed the kitchen, with its commercial grade stove and appliances. There is even a washer and dryer. Our 13 year old son used the PS4 every day and was quite happy. Overall it is a clean and beautiful place to stay, felt more like a hotel than someone's house with all of its amenities and decor. Highly recommend. Thank you Teresa for opening up your lovely home.

Spectacular, Indeed
I loved my stay at the Sexy Love Nest. The location is divine, just minutes walk from downtown Sausalito, & the condo is divine as well. With stunning water views, I so enjoyed sitting at the dining table doing my work & glancing up to gaze out at sailboats passing by. The bathrooms are beautifully updated, the nice furnishings work well in the space, the bedrooms are bright & pleasant. The Property Manager is also so pleasant & accommodating! I would return!

Spring Break in Sausalito
This apartment was the perfect place to stay for us for our visit to the San Francisco area. Centrally located, quite comfortable, and very clean. It is also a cook's dream with a Viking gas range, a large refrigerator, and is very well-stocked with utensils, pots, pans and dishes. We loved the French press coffe maker, Cusinart water boiler, and the whole bean coffee that the owner had waiting for us. We also very much appreciated the communication we received from the owner with every detail of what we needed to know about the apartment . This included check-in/check-out procedures, parking instructions, details about the wi-if, tv/ electronics, and a host of recommendations on local eateries and sights to see in the area. All in all a fantastic place to stay. We would love to come back and stay again!

Harrison House was the best and most fully stocked rental we've had the pleasure of staying in. From the fully-stocked kitchen to the quality linens to the robe and hair dryer in the bathroom, we had everything we needed. The large binder of information Teresa left was also very helpful. The condo is beautifully decorated with nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen and we snacked on the treats from the basket all week.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Teresa's mom, Irma, as we arrived a few minutes early. She was lovely and welcoming and showed us where everything was in the condo. Teresa was extremely easy and pleasant to work with, very responsive to questions, etc.
All in all, this was a great rental experience. Thank you, Teresa!

Lovely, very conviently located Sausalito apartment
Harrison House is beautifully and very comfortably furnished, with lots of light in every room and spotlessly clean. Teresa was a joy to work with--thorough, prompt and very thoughtful. There was a wonderful basket of goodies when we arrived (fresh fruit, baked treats, coffee beans and tasty granola). We especially enjoyed the big picture window filling the living room with lovely morning sun and providing a constantly changing view of Richardson Bay and the city. Downtown Sausalito and the ferry terminal are just steps away and it's an easy drive to the bridge and into San Francisco. We'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Gorgeous!
Loved EVERYTHING about Harrison House from the moment I stepped inside this absolutely gorgeous slice of heaven on earth! The entire place was clean as a whistle, the decor is divine, the views are incredible (even during inclement weather), the kitchen is well stocked (thanks for the goody basket!), the beds are super comfy, and Teresa is a sparkling gem of a hostess! I am truly grateful for having such a fabulous home to stay in while visiting with my family in the bay area. My sister and I will definitely be back!!!

Great Location- Beautiful View
This is beautiful condo with just about every amenity you could want. A lovely welcome basket with baked goodies, coffee, and granola were waiting for us upon arrival. A great kitchen, comfy beds, and a cozy fireplace for those chilly evenings all added up to the perfect week for my husband, our son, and me. Sausalito, like the rest of the Bay Area is built on some rather challenging hills. Getting to the condo can be a bit nerve wracking if you aren't used to navigating narrow, steep streets but it is worth the trip. It an easy walk to downtown Sausalito but careful how much you drink, it's a steep climb back up the stairs! It is also easy to walk to the ferry and avoid the hassle of driving into San Francisco. A short drive north takes you to Napa and Sonoma and to Muirwoods. We very much recommend a stay here!

Very nice place!
The condo was very nice! There was a good amount of space for our family of four. Furnishings were great. Location was very convenient, whether hanging around Sausalito or going into the city or to the wineries. Oh, and the welcome basket was so appreciated! We would love to stay here again when back in the area!

Sausalito. Worth the visit!
We stayed September 22nd through to the 27th...weather was seasonally high in temperature and beautiful for tourist type adventures. Overall a positive rental experience.
Rental Pro's
-great space, very welcoming on a quiet street.
-a very nice pastry basket awaited our arrival.
-comfortable beds with all of the home comforts.
Rental Con's
-unit AC struggled to work effectively and did not offer any relief during our stay.
-parking on the street worked out well. Driveway parking was not possible with our rental as the SUV bottomed out based on steepness of the driveway.
-ensuite bathroom window exposure made for an uncomfortable experience. Window treatments are required unless you want to be an exhibistionist.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed exploring our surroundings. Our first VRBO experience will not be our last.

Perfect
The perfect all round experience. The apt is very modern and clean with every amenity you could wish for as well as great views. The best part though is that the host is very responsive and professional. Stayed here twice and would love to stay again in the future. Thx

Outstanding stay
Our stay at Harrison House was outstanding in every respect. The highly positive observations made in previous reviews are right on target.

Disappointed
Very disappointed with the owner and the property damage claim that was filed after our stay. Allegedly, several towels were missing to the tune of $150. Very insulted by the accusation.
