About this house rental
Fully renovated and redesigned terrace-style townhouse in a six-unit brick row, originally built by early-20th-century Missoula developer T.A. Price and renovated spring of 2014 by Deluca Inc. is now available for short-term lease. The 1,400-square-foot structure’s architecture and charm have been preserved with the addition of energy-efficient systems, modern finishes and an open floor plan.
Located only a short walk away from the heart of Missoula:
--2 blocks to the 'Hip strip' with shopping, bakeries, breweries, restaurants, and the famous Big Dipper ice cream shop
--3 blocks to the popular Clark Fork River Trail
--5 blocks to University of Montana’s Grizzly Stadium and Adams Event Center
--5 blocks to downtown
Upon arrival, guests can park their cars and spend the days walking and biking around Missoula. Included are two parking spaces—one for the garage and another outdoor. Two cruiser bikes are available to guests for riding around town and along nearby trails.
The unit has three bedrooms with two king beds and two extra long twin beds and one and a half bathrooms to comfortably accommodate six guests.
The large existing bathroom upstairs has been remodeled, and a new powder room was added to the main level. A redesigned kitchen offers new appliances including a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. New cabinets and quartz counter tops offer ample storage and preparation space for cooking and entertaining. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools and serving items needed to host a Thanksgiving dinner for eight.
To open up the public quarters, the owners repurposed salvaged sinker beams from a Blackfoot River bridge, which collapsed decades ago but was recently recovered, to reframe the new opening. Original brick walls have been exposed. A modern leather sofa and chairs now occupy the living space, which has been decorated with heirloom antiques and original artwork. Foyer features an antique oak telephone booth equipped with a functioning rotary phone that offers guests complimentary calling anywhere in North America. WiFi and cable are also included with stay.
The exterior features covered front and back porches with a common lawn. A grill is provided for guest use.
Distinctive design with an unbeatable location make for a convenient, relaxing, and a truly authentic Missoulian experience.

Loved the location, close to downtown. Unfortunately on a noisy, busy street, but not a deal breaker at all. White noise machines in my room helped. Thank you for a great stay. Oh, the radial dial telephone booth is so cool.

Fantastic place and location. Walk to University of Montana or walk to downtown riverfront area easily! Super clean and great communication! We will be back!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this house. The location is awesome. It is within walking distance of the University, downtown Missoula and the trails along the Clark Fork.
Well equipped and very clean. Parking is very easy as well. There is a nice front porch to sit on, though the street noise can be a loud at times. But overall it is still a very nice and peaceful property. I would stay here again if I return to Missoula.

We have now stayed twice at this beautiful University District condo and we are slightly reluctant to let the world know what a perfect place this is, because we will be back. What a gem! All the requirements are met – kitchen, comfort, accommodations, parking. The rehab on this place was careful and extremely well done. The space is light and airy. The finishes are first rate. The décor is artful and whimsical, altogether very pleasing and pleasant. Bedrooms are spacious and unusually comfortable. The location is perfect for Missoula, conveniently in the University District, a short walk to the Hip Strip, and easily walkable to Downtown, too. The owner is courteous and responsive. This VRBO is hard to top. We will definitely be back again, visiting family.

My family had a wedding in Missoula and most guests stayed at the hotels downtown. Our VRBO was within walking distance to them but with my husband and three adult children we wanted more space. The space was exactly what we were looking for. Decided to spend the week since my kids could work remotely (nice coffee shop nearby as well as fast wifi at the house). The house was super clean and the bed was very comfortable (my 2 favorite things ). Would definitely stay here again.

So happy to have found this fabulous home in the heart of Missoula! We stayed here for a football weekend. The location was perfect, an easy walk to campus and the stadium or to the hip strip, downtown or river walk. The home is beautifully updated and so comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again for a family Thanksgiving in Missoula.

Loved this property! Comfy, firm beds, exceedingly clean from one room to the next, great location, quiet and equipped with everything you could want or need from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Having AC and a garage plus being walking distance to everything we love to do in Missoula were all bonuses. This may be one of the most perfect rental properties we have ever stayed in and would definitely stay here again!

This has got to be the cleanest, most comfortable, and certainly most charming home we have rented anywhere! They are very generous with amenities and checkout was a breeze! Walking distance to wonderful ice cream, bars, restaurants, theatre and bike/walking paths. Walking into town across the bridge takes 10 minutes. We loved the Gilt for beer and tacos! Check out the tubing down the River that passes through town! Great way to spend a hot day! The only time we Ubered was to get to the airport! We will definitely be return customers!

Our stay here was great. This is a beautifully restored home with all the conveniences of home. It is decorated with interesting pictures and photos that reflect the period the home may have been built and the history of the area. Holly's home was located in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near town and walking distance to the ice cream and coffee shops. The place was very clean with 2 comfortable king sized beds with soft sheets and quilts. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking and even had a few plastic containers for our on the go days. The bathroom was stocked with soft white towels, large bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner along with a hairdryer. When we had a question Holly replied back quickly. In this beautifully restored home there were individual large cooling units in the two rooms with the king sized beds and in the living room. If renting in the summer you should be aware of this. It didn't bother us one little bit, but if you need a silent place to sleep this may not be the place for you as the fan on these units runs to cool the place. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is absolutely lovely and Holly's communication is wonderful. This was our 2nd time staying here and everything was as perfect as the first. It is super clean and decorated in such an eclectic cool style. A perfect blend of old and new that gives you modern conveniences with coziness. The location is fabulous. You can easily walk to campus, shops and restaurants. Having the designated garage was so convenient and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch people watching. This place will always be our first go to when visiting Missoula.

We loved this home. It had the best-stocked kitchen for a family that loves to cook. The beds were comfortable and of good quality. The home has lots of charm and character. It is in a terrific location. They thought of all the little details like telling you how to operate the remote (which we did not use) but it was nice to know they did not assume we knew their system. They had towels for outdoor use, fans, a small cooler, umbrellas, and other little items that you don't pack but may need. Very good hosts. We will be back!

This is the second time we have stayed here and like the first….it was home away from home. We were greeted with a fresh blueberry coffee and cake and a pound of delicious coffee. We had a terrific time visiting Missoula. The Vrybo was spacious, very comfortable and near the University and the Hip Strip where there are plenty of restaurants. The art work was fun…..bicycle on the wall as well as some native americans and early settler pictures that were interesting and informative about Missoula’s history. We especially like the New Yorker covers from the past that depicted Montana’s hunting and fishing with a humorous bend. The kitchen was well stocked with everyday dishes and pans but it also had spices and such so one did not have to run out and buy those things for the meals eaten in. The gas grill was clean and worked like a charm. There is a large table that can seat at least 8 so those kids who you are visiting can come and have a home cooked meal. For those of you that like to watch movies, news and other, the TV has cable as well as a number of streaming services. The living room is open and conducive to either watching as a group or singley or just chatting. In the front hall there is a telephone booth….yes, right an old oak telephone booth that really works. Very fun!
Both the bedrooms we used (it is a 3 bedroom Vrybo) were once again spacious and filled with light. The beds were extremely comfortable…excellent mattresses. The sheets and towels were luxurious and plentiful. There is a very large bathroom on the second floor with a tub/shower and two sinks. A half bath is off the kitchen on the first floor. If needed, there is a washer and dryer in the basement that we did use since we were there over a week. There is parking on the street or in the back by the garage that you can use. The garage has two bikes for use but unfortunately we ran out of time for that excursion. There are both a front and back porch that we also used since the weather was perfect the time we were there…almost 90. Although there is air conditioning available the Vrbo stayed cool both during the day and night. What can we say….it was the perfect place to stay in Missoula.
