This property was the perfect place for our reunion. It accommodated the 9 of us comfortably. It was fully equipped with all the things we could ever need for a perfect vacation. The pool was an added bonus. The layout was perfect for hanging out, listening to music, talking and enjoying meals. Most importantly the property was wheelchair accessible for my young niece.

House was as depicted - love the floor plan and layout of having every thing on one floor. Lots of hangers in closet. They do need a new grill - was disappointing to not be be to cook outside as much - other than that can highly recommend it is everythinh they said it was.

We loved the house and all the amenities it provided.
Bedrooms had comfortable beds and a good layout.
Garage was well stocked with beach chairs, snorkel gear, toys and bikes.
A couple of minor negative things: we arrived after dark and could not get any of the exterior light to come on.
Next day we realized somebody had unscrewed all the bulbs. Also the kitchen refrigerator was not working so a freestanding one was provided. None of these things was a big deal. We enjoyed our stay very much.

When first approaching the house, we were impressed with the size and way the home looked. However, upon entering the home and checking out everything, we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the home as well as the fridge.We found a dead roach in the master bathroom. Not sure how long it was dead but it should have been cleaned up by the cleaning crew. The pix of the pool were a little deceiving. The website should be updated - not only to reflect the small size of the pool but also the fact that guests can no longer keep the sliding doors open due to the new laws /not sure guests would want to keep the doors open due to bugs at night.Every day there were tiny silver fish in the master bath& silver fish and roly poly bugs in the other bathrms.The main fridge was down so there was a 2nd fridge in the kitchn which was fine but the ice machine was broken & the additional ice machine provided never worked properly - we called for service and it was "fixed" but we had to tend to it in order to get ice. There were no bath mats in any of the bathrms so we all ended up using a towel for the floor when getting out of the shower. The gate to the entrance needs to be fixed as it's probably too heavy for the brackets - which I discovered after the first couple of days trying to open the gate with one hand and pinching my fingers. One of the bedrooms had bedding stuffed into the dresser (2 of the drawers) so there wasn't enough room for personal belongings.

House was amazing! Pool was great. Hot tub wasn’t very hot, but still comfortable to relax in. A rental car is a must for staying here, if you want to be able to go do things. Will definitely stay here again.

We really loved this property. We have a little one and it was nice to be able to relax in the pool while he was napping. They even provided items like a high chair and pack-n-play. The location was great and close to other resorts and shopping. The home was clean and well taken cared of. The only thing was the grass around the pool needed to be cut but besides that we loved it! We definitely want to come back. Mahalo for the wonderful stay!

During the Covid pandemic, our family was fragmented. School was online. I wanted everyone ti reconnect. We slowed our lives down and enjoyed meals together. We traveled to places nearby of each person’s choice. The house was like our sanctuary and place to test easy.

Came for a family get together for our 50th anniversary and found these accommodations perfect for a large group, yet plenty of personal space for people to relax away from the group as well.

Spectacular Family week on Kona
We were pleasantly surprised that the property went well above our expectations. We have traveled with our family many times throughout the world. This property was perfect for our growing family. We have three grown kids who are married with three grandkids ages 3- 6 months. It was perfect for all our needs. The on-site pool was great for nap times giving us all a relaxing time of resting by the pool. The alarm made us all feel better with the little ones in our family. Having access to the community pool as well as the beach club was amazing. It allowed us to enjoy the beach, snorkeling and playing in the sand. We decided to rent golf carts for the week and that was the BEST thing we did. Going everywhere in them was an adventure for the kids and a great way to get around locally. It had been our best vacation rental as a family. We would not hesitate to come back again and highly recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful property overall
Our family of 10 stayed for a week and had a great time. There were some issues with the property. Water pressure in the kitchen was very low, refrigerator malfunctioning after the first day, air conditioner kept breaking. However, the prop manager was fairly quickly responsive. The house and Area was absolutely beautiful! Overall a great vacation.

Wonderful!
This property is beautiful & very accommodating for family of 7 adults. The location is a bit out of the main part of town (Kona) but its in a beautiful area & we loved the quiet privacy! We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom & the comfortable gathering areas. The lanai was well utilized & the pool was awesome to have to oursleves!

Great house (but could use some TLC)
First, let me say the folks at Paradise in Hawaii were extremely easy to deal with. Check in/out was smooth and the two times we called for clarification the person who answered was friendly and helpful. Second, from a physical standpoint the house is in a great location and is well laid out. The home is older as are the furnishings (but we knew that going in because of the pictures on VRBO). The beds were some of the most comfortable we've found at VRBO locations but some furniture, e.g., sofas in the family room, were less than ideal. Fortunately, we didn't spend a lot of time in the family room as we were by the pool (which was wonderful) or elsewhere. The age of the home was noticeable as several things needed the attention of a handyman, e.g., the courtyard gate was sagging, and the home needed to be deep cleaned, e.g.., the windows and floors would benefit most. The recreation equipment, e.g., snorkeling gear, bikes, looked relatively new as were the beach chairs and umbrellas. Overall, it was a great place and if we have an opportunity to return to Kona I suspect we'll look to rent the same home.

The Blue Lagoon needs improvement
This is a large house generally well equipped and could be perfect for a family of 8. It does not sleep 10 unless you want a floor mattress in the living room. Maintenance is really neglected however. The toilets need new valves and whined every time you flushed so you needed to open the back and shake the valves, the ice maker in the fridge didn't work and one of the freezers couldn't be lowered to freeze well, the dish washer often didn't empty as there was a problem with sink drainage. Yes- more maintenance !
Do not believe that what they advertise as recreation gear because most of it is not usable- from bikes to snorkel gear to helmets and boards- much of this is sadly in need of repair/discarding.
Finally, the cleanliness could be better- oven was dirty, mold in showers. Pillows need replacing for sure! With a little better care this could be a first class place.

Hawaiian Ohana Vacation
We all had the best relaxed family time together. The house was lovely. As we had kids I did cover up those light colored kitchen chairs. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We did still have to figure out the pool heater on our own and it took a bit to get it right. The extra little house was perfect for my daughter's family. Having all the baby stuff was amazing and very much appreciated.

Our 10 days were enjoyed by everyone especially the pool after a day of exploring the island. We also enjoyed the separate cottage. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Annual family trip
Great location, lovely rooms & very responsive managers. We had the air conditioner stop working and managers had a repairman there right away. Only downside is the outside pool area had old & torn patio furniture and minimal at that. Grass wasn’t tidy and there is no view. If there isn’t a view it is a MUST to have pool area be a welcoming space, it was not.

The house was lovely, just as pictured. Plenty of space for 10 people. The pool was nice to have. No real complaints, however the fridge would get cold then start to defrost, they property management didn’t seem to concerned and the pillows wear not the comfortable. Great house in Hawaii
The Blue Lagoon property was exactly as shown in the listing. Great location within Mauna Lani, and on the island overall, convenient to lots of beaches and other activities. House itself is very nice and comfortable, with great indoor and outdoor shared spaces, a nice kitchen and outdoor bbq, good Wifi, and a nice pool and hot tub. Perfect for a family vacation or multiple couples.

Added amenities made this an enjoyable stay
The property was great and I would have given our overall stay a very positive 5+, except for three things: 1) the refrigerator kept malfunctioning, even after a quick response from the maintenance guy who discovered the coils were extremely dirty and cleaned them, 2) cold air returns and bathroom exhaust vents were in dire need of cleaning, and 3) the county law requiring an alarm on the large sliding doors leading to the pool removed the enjoyment of having the large doors as they could not be left open without the alarm going off. These were more a nuisance than substantive issues and we worked around them.
OK enough about the down side, now for the very positive side: The house itself with pool was terrific and easily held all 8 of us comfortably. The snorkeling kits with masks and fins, boogie boards, and other beach toys for the kids, along with a folding cart for transporting to the beach provided hours of enjoyment. The bicycles also got a lot of use and the management team assisted us in obtaining a Burley bike trailer for the 4 year old. They even picked it up and had it attached to the bike when we arrived. The house came with cooking oils and other basic seasoning ingredients which was very convenient and appreciated. The community pool with exercise equipment was also a plus and very convenient to the house via bikes. There are a bunch of beaches and resorts nearby and all available to the public. Some of the hotels even provided valet parking while we enjoyed the beaches in front of their hotels.
Overall we all agreed that we would love to stay at this house again as we all had a thoroughly good time.

Great Family Vacation Spot
This was our first trip with young children and staying at the Blue Lagoon made it easy and fun. It is not too far from Kona so we could stock up on supplies. It is located in a quiet area so the children weren't woken up by loud neighbors. There are plenty of beautiful beaches within a few minutes drive and the house is stocked with most everything you need to have a great time on the beach. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and there were plenty of fresh linens. We loved the option to do laundry while we were there. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else with small children. I completely recommend this house for your Hawaii vacation.

Awesome place to stay with a family. The separate quarters was great for the parents to stay while the younger grown kids of ours could live different time schedules without conflict. Just a great place to be!!!!

Good stay!
We were a group of golfing men (4) who each had a comfortable bedroom and bath. The place was smaller than we had rented in past trips but was more than adequate. It was clean and functional and the price point was great! We had no problems with the place or its management.

Thanksgiving in Hawaii
My husband and I took our family to Hawaii for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time and the house was very accommodating. The house was fully equipped and we wanted for nothing. Loved the neighborhood!

We came as a family of four couples. The space was exactly as listed and had everything we needed for our week stay. The outdoor space was great for hanging out together. We would return to this property.

Great Kona location
Overall, the house was beautiful. The pool was a bit dirty and the spa light didn't work. The garage door remote was missing when we arrived and I notified the owners right away and never did get a response. Upon checkout, I was asked for the missing garage door opener but the property manager understood what happened so overall, not a big deal, just an extra hassle to get in and out of the garage. However, a big bummer was coming home from the store ready to BBQ one night to find the propane was completely out and there was no extra tank as indicated. That was a disappointment because we did plan to have BBQ dinners and couldn't. There is some outdoor maintenance needed I would say (the lounge chair was ripped and worn out). It was a great size and house though and we would stay there again!

Practically Perfect in Every Way
This was an amazing vacation with our adult children and young grandchildren! The home is lovely, very clean, and well maintained. It was also nice to have the boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkels, and coolers, which made going to the beach much easier. The pool was perfect for our family, and having an abundance of beach towels was also very handy. The combination lock for the house was so much better than having a key, especially with multiple adults going in and out.
The house "manual"/guest book was very helpful to find our way regarding lighting, fans, appliance instructions, etc. The property managers were also very easy to reach and responsive to any needs we had.
Some very small suggestions to consider: It was unclear as to what was trash and what was recyclable. We did the best we could.
We could have used a few more plastic serving dishes -- bowls and platters, for example. Also more rubber mats for around the pool area, as it gets very slippery. We had dinners in rather than going out because of the kids, so a few more kitchen towels would have been helpful. (Again, these are very minor ... just suggestions). We do a "family" trip with kids/grandkids every other year, and we would LOVE to return! It was the BEST! Thank you for making us feel at home. I hope everything was in place when we left!

Great Family Vacation Stay
I enjoyed the quality time spent here at Endless Summer with my family making memories. Everything was absolutely perfect! To be honest, we didn’t want to leave. :) Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!

Five stars across the board
The house was impeccably clean, we loved all the amenities staying at the private club offered, especially the pool and the private beach area. My family loved having all of our snorkeling/beach gear stocked in the house. And all of the bikes were clean and new. we would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful Home - great for families
We had a wonderful stay PiH Blue Lagoon. The house was well equipped with gear and toys for our family with you two young kids! We loved the outdoor space - especially the pool/spa combo. We had one issue with small ants during our stay but it was resolved quickly via email. We look forward to staying again next year!
