About this cottage rental

The Cottage is located in the historic residential area just 2 and a half short blocks from The Historic Downtown Courthouse Square. There is a tremendous array of activities at The Square and you are literally only a short 3 to 5 minute walk from The Square and the famous Whiskey Row.
Our premier property for rent near The Historic Downtown Square is The Cottage, which has over 1,550 square feet of living space with hardwood floors and travertine tile throughout. The Cottage has two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, large family room, separate dining room, fully stocked kitchen, dining area with window seat and laundry room. The furniture is well appointed, and provides a romantic,cozy, cottage feel as if you were in Carmel or Monterey. In addition, we are dog friendly, so bring the pooch.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a large walk-in closet and nicely appointed sitting/reading area. The master has its own television. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. The Cottage can easily accommodate 5 to 6 people.

The living room has a large Samsung 46 inch flat screen HDTV, HD cable hookup, Blu-Ray DVD that streams Netflix. In addition The Cottage has a high speed WiFi connection. The dining room can accommodate 6 or more for your bountiful Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter dinner!!

The kitchen is fully stocked to the satisfaction of even the most discriminating Chef! The gas stove is nestled within a old brick hood, and guests can watch you prepare meals while seating in the kitchen nook or cozy window seat.

The best is left for last...the intimate secluded patio. One of our recent guests, refers to this patio as The Plaza (see our reviews). Escape through the back door to Paradise, and listen to the birds chirping and relax in the cool shaded patio. Read a book or just meditate.
So if you want to enjoy your stay in Prescott at virtually your home away from home, please come and stay at The Cottage.

Would definitely stay here again. All the main restaurants 1/4 - 1/2 mile walk. Beautiful neighborhood, nice patio. Larry the owner was super helpful.

Excellent location and beautiful property - dog friendly

We decided to do a last minute getaway to Prescott to enjoy the holiday celebrations - which are fantastic! This property has the ideal location that is close to center of town but still gives you a great historic neighborhood feel. The home has plenty of room and provides all the comfort of home. We took our pup so the patio was extremely convenient. Larry was a pleasure to work with. Definitely our go-to for all future trips to Prescott!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and quaint! Very close to all the action. I LOVED the garden tub and the water was hotter than my own at home! Great communication with property owner. I would 100% rent again!! Without hesitation.

Our stay here was very nice! Although there were only 3 of us, we had planned on possibly 5 , the house was very cozy and comfortable! It had everything we needed and then-some! I would definitely stay here again! It's pretty quiet, clean, the patio is great, we made dinner one night and had everything we needed! Thank you Larry- We will be back!!

I cannot praise this house enough. It is spacious, sparkling clean, and beautifully appointed. The location is a five minute walk to the charming downtown and excellent restaurants. But the best thing about the house was the wonderful patio. Our extended family, in town for the ERAU graduation, came over for a barbecue, and the beautiful landscaping and ample outdoor seating made the afternoon and evening a delight. Everyone commented on how lovely the house was. An award plaque for best historical restoration was well deserved. If you are coming to Prescott, this is the place to stay!

Everything was perfect in our stay at the cottage. Lovely, well stocked and spacious kitchen. Great master closet, roomy bathroom, open floor plan, outstanding location. We absolutely fell in love with the Cottage. The private yard/patio is beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked we had everything necessary for cooking wonderful meals, the bedrooms are very comfortable, the bathroom has a fantastic stocking tub. Over all the decor of the entire cottage is lovely. We will be back, most definately.

Great location in older part of Prescott.

Everything was clean; except the couch which needs upholstering or replacing. Feathers were leaking out of couch. Also I put the very nice, soft afghan over my legs and my black pants now have either dog or cat hair on them. There are some plumbing issues which houeekeeper knows about but apparently Christmas week is not a good time for maintenance. The bay window was beautifully decorated. Master bedroom was comfortable and we slept well. Son and his wife found guest room pillows need to be replaced. All appliances worked good. Since we were all adult instead of a family with young children our expectations were different in a house. But fireplace was nice and we had dinner for 6 people 3 evenings and the kitchen dining area was good. All in all a good family visit and the living area was good for that

My family and I travelled to Prescott for the Courthouse lighting ceremony and couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Larry’s lovely home. The house was spacious, very well appointed, and the perfect fit for the five of us. I initially misread the description and was prepared to share a bathroom amongst all of us - imagine our pleasant surprise at the way the jack and Jill was set up that basically created two independent bathrooms!! We felt at home and can’t wait to return :-)

What a wonderful area to spend the Holiday season. The location was an easy walk to the adorable Prescott downtown area, that was all decked out with Christmas lights. Complete with all amenities...this lovely, bright, and airy 2 bedroom cottage was a perfect retreat during our recent visit to Prescott, Arizona. Larry Schmidt, the owner, was most gracious and accommodating. We had a lovely stay at The Cottage on Nob Hill recently. The home is exactly as described and as reviewed by many others. I will add that it was spacious for just my husband & I, but the layout would work really well for 2 couples traveling together. Something I am always looking for, when traveling with friends. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Prescott (with or without friends :).

We love The Cottage!! The pictures almost don’t do it justice! The kitchen was awesome for our family to comfortably be together in the space. It’s much bigger than it looks in the pix! Super cute neighborhood and 2 blocks from shopping and amazing restaurants! The private/spacious patio was great for our dog and us to relax! The weather is perfect in early April! We have spent the month of March in "The Cottage" for the past two years and have already reserved it for that month in 2019. It is a lovely vacation rental...immaculate, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. We especially enjoy the fireplace, spacious well-equipped kitchen, and patio. The location, just a couple of blocks from the Courthouse Square is great! Larry and Katie are very gracious hosts. We highly recommend this property.

This was our second year at the Cottage and we're renting it again in 2018. The weather in August was great - a lot better than Green Valley, AZ. Prescott and the Cottage are pet friendly and our small dogs enjoyed the area - especially the couch in the Cottage where they could snuggle into the cushions. Larry is a great host that goes out of his way to ensure that his customers fully enjoy the properties. All in all, a great stay.

This charming Victorian Cottage is in a prime Prescott location, walking distance to Whiskey Row. We walked to shops and awesome restaurants. We relaxed on the patio with our books and wine under the apple tree. We even ate the apples! We watched TV by the fireplace in the evening. This unit is VERY CLEAN and stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely stay here time and time again.
