What a cute ‘lil desert home. A sweet note and treat awaited our arrival. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of bath and pool towels. The pool was perfect for our two families. There were a couple umbrellas to help with shade and can’t beat that Mountain View! As mentioned in other reviews there were a few bees that you had to be aware of but left us alone for the most part. The only bummer may have been the controller for the pool lights was missing when we got there but we were able to address it with the pool guy and he was quick to try and help. The kitchen is well stocked! We were able to cook or bbq every meal!
When we had any questions or concerns (didn’t realize there were extra trash bins in back🙈) everyone we came in contact with was so quick to respond and very kind and professional! We definitely hope to be back!
Oh and if you happen to be there in winter or spring (or if you’re an early summer riser) definitely bring your hiking shoes! There’s some great trails!

This property needs updating both on the outside and inside. The view of the mountain is awesome but the pool decking is falling apart, can’t walk out side without shoes. It’s in dire need of repair. You can’t enjoy the area around it because you will be bit to death with mosquitoes and always dodging bees. There is a bee hive in the rocks of the spa.
The beds in the house are comfortable but the bathrooms need updating from shower heads and handles to one of the toilets is not bolted down and rocks when you sit on it. One of the bathroom sinks needs repair to the stopper. Can only let the water out if you put your finger nails under it and pull it up. The toilet paper holder in the master bath is broken and every time you try to get a piece of paper it falls off to the floor. No batteries in the TV remote in master bedroom.
The kitchen fry pans or skillets need replacing. Everything sticks to pan and teflon is all scratched off.
Horrible driveway if you have more than one medium to large car. I would say the place is adequate if you don’t have very high expectations.

This home was perfect for us and our friend. Location was perfect and pool was in a perfect spot for the sun.

Waking up to that view of the mountain was unmatched! Definitely a great start to the day, gorgeous at night too. Know that this is a quiet neighborhood! The house was comfy, ac worked well, kitchen amenities were awesome (we cooked and bbq’d every meal). As mentioned in other reviews, there were a few bees and mosquitos and i’m guessing that is due to being close to the mountain- no wind! But we scooped a few bees from the pool, slapped on a little deet to the ankles at night and honestly, we were overall happy with this gorgeous spot.

I was furious upon arrival. Said in description that cable tv was included. Owner had it canceled. Said people stream today. I am crazy about NCAAM and could not watch it. Manager Mike rallied the cause with owner and after hard arguing got it reinstalled. Happy camper. Great mgr.
Absolutely love this home in all other respects. perfect location. Design eclectic and we all loved it. Pool. Will try to stay here again for longer in 26. Going to Hawaii next yr.

We just used the house for relatives to sleep at and we were at our own house the whole weekend. It was very lovely and would have been nice too.

Beautiful home!
Whenever I travel my main focus is to find a place with a jacuzzi. I rarely get a chance to travel and relax. My life is super stressful and the jacuzzi was what I wanted. While the home was lovely I was crushed that I couldn’t use the jacuzzi. You have to stay a 3 night minimum to get to use it. The pictures advertised jacuzzi. I’ll have to take a second look but I feel that wasn’t made clear until I checked in. I was literally in tears. Thank you for having us.

The house is absolutely wonderful. If you love La Quinta like we do, the house is located right at the Top of the Cove on the trail. Hiking is spectacular. The house is generously outfitted with plenty of kitchen equipment, towels, even pool towels. The rooms are lovely and the decor is tasteful and fun.

The property is lovely and as advertised. We booked this listing mainly because of the beautiful pool. However, as soon as we tried to use it, we were swarmed by bees. We contacted Vacasa right away, and we were told that they would handle it. Unfortunately, they never remediated the bee situation, and we were unable to use the pool. It basically ruined our vacation.

We were there for a girls weekend. Such a great location! Loved all having our own bed and baths! A quiet neighborhood with walking trails along the mountains! Too cold for a dip in the pool this time!

The house was very comfortable. The gate/garage door was a bit tricky, but we made it work. Outdoor area was beautiful, and the house is sitting across from the mountains-beautiful!

This house was comfortable, but not set up for 8 people. The sofa bed was so shot you could not sleep on it. The pool was really nice but we ask it to be heated for the 3 days we were there but only heated for one. The thermometer always read that the pool was at 82 but if you looked at it, it was broken.

My family’s favorite home that we ever rented for a vacation! Seems impossible but even more stunning in person. The home has ample parking, great kitchen, super clean, nice furniture and beds and very quiet. Woke up each morning to paradise. We will return.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hot tub was great. The pool never heated up enough for us to use it. Other than that iy was a fabulous trip.

We had a very relaxing weekend and enjoyed the pool and our time together - little problem with the bee's in the late afternoon, but did not stop us - Thank you for your attention to detail and a very comfortable stay - Teri Medina

House was very nice. In the future, you need to tell renters about the gate, and how to get thru it, when you arrive. We finally figured out that the garage remote was the same for the gate, but had no clue until we turned over the remote. It was also impossible to park a rental in the garage, as there is zero tolerance in the driveway. We couldn’t afford the damage a rented vehicle.

Beautiful but problems
Beautiful interior, House and location is great however upon arrival they were still cleaning. There was a bee problem the pool we paid to have heated wasn’t working and someone had to come and reset something. Day 2 there was some kind of animal or large lizard that got into a vent in the kitchen and was making scratching noises . We spent several hours trying to figure it out and waited for workers to come in. Day 3 spent several hours waiting for a worker to come and set traps.
This was the least relaxing I have experienced on vacation due to so much time that was spent on trying to figure out what and where the animal was. We had to rearrange our plans 2 of the 3 days we were there.and missed out on events we had planned. Vacasa people were nice but So disappointed!

convenient desert home
Very pleasant and easy place to spend a week, located at the desert edge of this hamlet, right by the hiking trail and just far away enough from the major shopping areas to not feel too suburban

Bask in sun by mountains
This is a spacious, well appointed house. Nice artwork and furniture. Good location right across from the Fred Wolff nature trail. Nice pool. Two things we didn't like : the EXORBITANT cost to heat the pool -- $500 for one week? This seems out of line. Also -- I was bitten MANY TIMES BY mosquitoes. The owners need to let their pest control know about this. They were out in the day time. Any time you were in the shade they started biting.

House was great, location was fab. Pool was great… until the hot tub auto drained first night. And we found out that the heat on said hot tub was additional charge and needed to be done in advance… which was not shared with us. So we were looking forward to chilly dessert nights in hot tub and didn’t get that. And when I called the number no one returned our call. There is a huge bee situation around the pool. Like they’re everywhere and all over you. Check in was terrible. Confusing, difficult, hard to get a hold of someone. Code didn’t work on door etc. so we got in about an hour past when we arrived and it was 100 degrees outside. Need better arrival info. Like details about the gate remote is inside etc. Not cool.

Wonderful Desert Retreat!
A perfect getaway to celebrate three birthdays with our friends! The home is well appointed, spacious, and had everything we needed. An added bonus was the walking trails that are available right across the street! Easy access into the mountains, or town.

Beautiful Home
I stayed two nights and had a good time in this beautiful home. Know that if you go in the summer months, the pool will be quite warm (understandable). Also, the neighbors have a yard sign that reads: "Neighborhoods are for neighbors - not vacation rentals". Not the most welcome feeling. But, being so close to Coachella, I can't say that I blame them. Overall, I liked the property and would still recommend it.

The highlights of this home are the patio/pool area and the large main living space. If booking, keep in mind you cannot play music outdoors and you need to keep your voices down. Rental properties in this area are not popular with the neighbors.
There is a garage you can park in but the driveway is very narrow so it is difficult to use with larger vehicles.
Good to know, Vacasa is strict with check -in times and you will not receive the information to check in until a few minutes before the time. Also, the pool is serviced on Tuesday and Thursday and you will have to wait 2 hours to use the pool after chemicals are put in.
We did enjoy our day and a half at this home.

Ladies Weekend
La Quinta Cove provided the perfect retreat for our weekend away from the husbands and kids! 😜 The place is really spacious and each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom. The location is close to several great dining options and we enjoyed the pool very much! (Lots of bugs and leaves to clean out of the water but that can’t be helped!)

Absolutely beautiful. A peaceful vacation. House and pool stellar. Great location to shops and restaurants. Thank you.

This property was a nice getaway for 3 couples. The beds were comfy and every room having their own bathroom was convenient. The kitchen was large and open to commune / cook. Most of the time was spent poolside and with the built in grill. We had an issue with the pool being ready when we arrived and Vacasa was very helpful, attentive and professional. We even received a welcome call the day after arriving to check in on our stay. High marks for their management services. The reason for the 4 stars is for 2 reasons 1)everyone in our party reacted terribly to the salt water pool. Our skin, was ashy, rashy and itched for days after our visit. It was unpleasant. 2) the host book for visitors was a little condescending and rude. Maybe they have had difficult visits in the past but their lack of “accommodating” descriptions of the amenities or property limits was not very tasteful and came off rude. 1 roll of TP was left for each bathroom. If we used more than the accommodation we needed to purchase our own. Which was stated in the book. It was an odd experience to say the least. La Quinta was a charming little town and we will visit the area again.

Too many issues with the property management!
First off, Tom with the management company gave us the wrong code to get into the place and when we called to get the right one, the girl sent the same one so it took us about an hour after we arrived to finally get the right code! This place is in need some updating for the price you pay! The toilets were loose from the walls, two of the showers had poor shower heads, when we moved any furniture so we could play games or visit there was dirt underneath everything! Sam the maintenance man was quick to respond but we spent so much time calling about problems that we lost time being able to enjoy our vacation! We were very disappointed in the location - the description made it sound like it was convenient to walk everywhere but we didn’t find it to be that way.
