Palmetto Dunes Resort - Residential "Mariners Side"
This custom built home is a great gathering place for large groups, families and friends. Only an 8-minute walk to the beach and situated on a 15-acre fresh water lake with fishing, bird watching and other wildlife that can be enjoyed from our private dock. The back yard ambiance offers a tropical feel with its beautiful palm trees and great privacy.
There is a large circular driveway for easy and more than ample parking plus a 2 car garage. Wonderful live oaks grace the front of the home along with beautiful azalea bushes for your Springtime enjoyment.
There is a large covered front porch with rocking chairs for relaxing. Entering inside, you’ll find a very bright open floor plan with column archways, separate dining room with seating for ten, living room with soaring ceilings and fireplace looking out over the pool, spa and fresh water lake. Enjoy the open eat-in kitchen with the newly designed island, along with the dinette table with seating for six provides plenty of seating. The kitchen is open to the Carolina room with a large built-in entertainment area and 65" flat screen for your viewing pleasure.
Off the kitchen you will find a large screened porch with seating for 6 great for dining, game playing, and those days of inclement weather. In addition there is a huge partially covered back porch for relaxing, outside grilling and dining with seating for 6 at the new bar height table with an additional 4 standard chairs with side tables .
The large pool (34' X 16') is shallow at both ends, 5’ depth in the center with 2 sets of entry steps and loads of sun. The pool was newly renovated with new tile and plaster to give it a new look in 2021. The large pool deck provides ample space for sunbathing with 8 lounge chairs, side tables as well as additional chairs with ottomans.…you’ll get lots of sun while enjoying the resort like back yard! Optional pool heat is available.
The beautiful 6 person in ground spa with spill-over into the pool adds comfort and enjoyment on those cool mornings and clear nights, heat is optional.
The tropical feel of the back yard boasts of palm trees and water views. Its like vacationing in your own private resort.
The master suite is located on the main floor with a king bed, newly remodeled bath includes an extended length vanity with makeup mirror and stool, separate shower and his and her vanities. Guest bedroom 2 – 2 twin beds, built in desk, large closet with built in dresser. Adjoining bath with tub/shower, double sinks in vanity. Guest bedroom 3 – one queen bed and one twin, large closet with built ins, and shares the adjoining two room bath with bedroom 2. These two bedrooms with the two room bath/sink combo provide a private Jack n Jill Suite.
Heading upstairs, at mid-level, you’ll find a large bonus room offering a nautical feel with two queen beds, a sofa (not a pull out), 2 chairs, flat screen TV and Blu-ray player.
Continuing upstairs to the second floor you will find Guest bedroom 4 – with a king bed, private bath, tub/shower and walk in closet. Down the hall midway you will walk through French doors to Guest bedroom 5 – a second master with king size bed, 2 chairs, walk in closet and a private deluxe bath with tiled walk-in shower. Guest bedroom 6 – also includes a king size bed, walk in closet, private tub/shower and large single sink vanity.

67 Full Sweep is a very well equipped and well maintained home. Plenty of parking, great open living areas, super clean, and great communications with owner. We’ve been traveling with 12-15 family members for 20 years and this was one of our favorite houses.

We have stayed at various VRBO's and other rentals in the past and truly loved Donna and Bills's property!
We were 6 couples in our late 50's/early 60's going away to enjoy the weather and a week of golf. The property was amazing!! Clean, comfortable and private with all the amenities!
The heated pool and sauna was a great relief after gruelling days on the golf course ;-). Access to the garage to store golf clubs was a definite plus. Little details of labelling dish storage and remote control function was very much appreciated.
As far as responsiveness from Donna and Bill...quite frankly exceptional. Eg: it was noted that the pool system was not transitioning from Spa to pool circulation (not a significantly timely concern). I texted Donna and within minutes!! she remotely re-booted the system and everything was re-activated...talk about responsiveness!!
I(we) would highly recommend this property without reservation...but don't let the good word out!! We want to come back!! LOL

Very lovely home, relaxing landscape, gorgeous community. Spacious house to accommodate our family of 17. Two separate gathering rooms plus a large screened in patio that overlooks the pool and backyard area. Very nice pool with a relaxing hot tub. Four spacious king bedrooms for the adults and three large bedrooms for the kids. We are planning on going back next year for our family vacation.

House worked great for a group of 10 adults, 2 children. Nice pool with afternoon sun. One room needed cleaned upon arrival, property manager was quick to respond and cleaned the same morning. House has 5.5 bath, we were under impression it was 6 full bath. Overall, I would stay here again. Owner is super friendly. Beautiful backyard.

This house was a perfect escape for our family! We loved the pool, dock, and proximity to the beach. It was a quick bike ride to the beach. Donna was responsive to questions, and the house and pool were very clean on our arrival. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

This was the perfect rental for our three families. The house was extremely clean and very spacious. The pool area and backyard are gorgeous. It was a quick bike ride to the beach or an easy walk. The neighborhood is very quiet and family friendly. We enjoyed being close to the general store and restaurants. The kitchen was fully equipped and plenty of eating space. I can’t say enough positive about this rental and the owners. They were so easy to work with.

There are many places to eat good food and take long walks - walking the beach at night was splendid after a sumptuous dinner. The house evokes a home away from home feeling, well-lit, very clean, and situated in a lovely area. We enjoyed Christmas and New Year at 67 Full Sweep and look forward to doing it again.

I rented this property for a girls trip birthday celebration. I looked at hundreds of vaccination rentals in Hilton Head and Savannah before choosing this one. As a matter of fact, I saw many that I liked but I kept coming back to this one.
The house is exactly as it presents on the website. What sold it for me is the amount of social space the house offers. With 14 women staying in the house and a few more friends visiting each day, it was great to not have to be sitting up under one another. There are so many spaces for people to gather, including a sunroom, deck, poolside, and the front porch with rocking chairs.
Donna has thought of everything. If you think you’ll need it during your stay, it’s there. Something as inconsequential as towel racks and shower caddies in the bathrooms and clocks on both sides of the beds to folding chairs for the beach and two large refrigerators for food and beverages just made our stay that much better. We are already making plans to return.

This home was perfect for our large family. We all agreed that the home was even better than it presented in the photos. One of the benefits of the home was that the adults were able to have king size beds and large bedrooms. There was more than enough room for the children and we could have actually had more than our 11 family members comfortably included in this beautiful home. The two refrigerators and well stocked kitchen made cooking a joy.
We rode bikes to the beach and it was a short walk on foot. The pool was large and perfect for the children. There was plenty of outdoor seating for sunbathing and relaxing.
The children enjoyed fishing off the dock but admittedly there were too many turtles in the water to allow for an enjoyable fishing experience. There was also one large and one baby alligator that stayed pretty close to the dock on the property.
This was a lovely home and where we enjoyed a most delightful family vacation experience.

Wonderful Home!
Short walk to the beach. This home was immaculate and perfect for families with little ones. The bedrooms were private and separated from main living areas. Many thoughtful perks like: pool towels, 4 bikes, a well stocked kitchen (even had a Margarita blender!), a second refrigerator and laundry baskets for each master suite. Outdoor areas were lovely (screened porch and table on the deck, nice gas grill). We appreciated the two wagons for hauling our beach items.

We loved this house, the pool and spa, spaciousness, layout, porches and decks! It's only a short walk to the beach and we rode bikes all thru the plantation. Donna communiticated quickly with questions and check in was very simple. Thank you Donna for making sure we enjoyed our stay, we absolutely did!

67 Full Sweep
This property was amazing for our large family. The kids had plenty to do, the adults had plenty to do and we had a great stay. The location was very good (only a half mile from the beach) and the Palmetto Dunes neighborhood is nothing short of picturesque. I think this house is a steal in terms of value. Highly recommend.

Great for large groups
Donna’s house is situated on a quiet street with beautiful trees and a swimming pool in the backyard. Our large group of 10 adults and 1 infant had plenty of room. The walk to the beach was a little longer than we anticipated but not uncommon for Hilton Head. It was nice to have 4 rooms with king sized beds although the mattresses were somewhat hard and not the most comfortable. It was a nice addition to have the 4 bicycles that were provided and also to have access to the beach wagon. The kitchen is well equipped and everything we needed. Overall it was a great week spent in Hilton Head!

Perfect house
Reserved this house for our family vacation. 16 of us stayed here and had plenty of space. The house layout was perfect for our group. The pool was the main reason we picked this house and it did not disappoint. Spent most of time in it. The beach is a 15-minute walk or quicker by bike. It was great to have the bikes, beach wagon and pool toys to use. The host was very responsive to my emails. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great house on HHI!
We (two families) recently rented this house for a July 2021 week, and it was perfect. The house is spacious, in very good condition, and has all the amenities you want and need for a week away. The owners put together a very comprehensive welcome packet with all the information we needed, and were very responsive to us during the week for a few follow up questions and minor issues that came up. The location is a bit further from the beach than we had previously stayed but its a very easy bike ride (still walkable too), and we have older teenage kids who could easily bike back and forth at their convenience. Finally the street is very quiet and the house has a great pool with backyard overlooking the lagoon. Thanks again for a memorable week!

The family gathered as a whole at 67 Full Sweep for meals, swimming and games for the little ones. It truly was an unforgettable vacation and a feat of great magnitude, getting our entire family, numbering 32, together in one place. At 88 I hope to be around to witness this again.

The family gathered as a whole at 67 Full Sweep for meals, swimming and games for the little ones. Fantastic home for a Celebration
Stayed at this beautiful property to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. The 12 family and friends were able to easily spread out and be comfortable/relaxed. Outdoor area to include pool plus pond/dock are fantastic — even better than expected with turtles and gators. A+ to the owner Donna.
Our only issues were the large pool not heating to 82 degrees as expected, the midlevel room over cooling, and an inoperable ceiling fan on top level middle King room.

We really enjoyed our week at this property.
The property is spacious and well-maintained.
We were able to fit 4 adults and 4 children comfortably with room to spare.

2. There are very limited perishable items in the home upon arrival. We had to purchase paper towels, dishwasher pods, ziplock bags, cling wrap, cooking supplies (olive oil, spices), etc.
3. It would have been a nice touch to have some beach umbrellas and bikes for outdoor activities. Instead, we rented our own from a local company.
If I could give 4.5 stars, I would, but overall the property suited our needs and is a place we would consider renting again in the future.
