We’ve been renting this property for 4 or 5 years now, and it is always an amazing time! The owner and property manager are friendly and helpful, and the house is perfect for our group. It’s a quiet area, and the dock access is amazing. We already booked again for next year!

The house is gorgeous and the lakeview is magnificent. We brought kayaks and fishing gear and lots of beer. What's not to like? Town of Ticonderoga is nearby and convenient for picking up whatever we forgot or needed more of. Our 3 grandchildren all enjoyed the large bunk room upstairs. There are air conditioning units in every bedroom and fans in the living areas. They all got used a lot! Temps in the upper 80's and sometimes low 90's. There is plenty of firewood for campfires. We had one almost every night. Bring marshmallows! Kids enjoyed the basement when it rained. There are pingpong and darts and foosball and a large TV down there. Day trips were fun as well: Fort Ticonderoga is worth the entry fee and has beautiful views of Lake Champlain. We also visited Burlington Vt. It's a great town with lots to do and see. Not too far away! Overall, we had a wonderful trip and if we can get our schedules to coincide next summer, we would like to return.

Great communication, a-lot of space, everything you need to enjoy the lake plus lots more. Fire pit, bikes, corn hole, ping pong, and the list goes on. Owners were very accommodating Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the property so much. We had a windstorm and a tree came down and they acted so quickly and had it all cleaned that day before we even arrived. Fantastic!

We had a great time. The location is great-right on the lake. Ticonderoga is the quiet side of Lake George but we really enjoyed visiting Fort Ticonderoga and drive up the Mount Defiance. It was good house for family of 8.

This location was awesome! The pictures of the home are exactly as the home appears. Home is well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Our son in law brought his boat and jet ski and it easily fit at the dock. We loved the home, and the location. The property manager was awesome to deal with. Answered all of our questions. Would highly recommend this home, location and Lake George. Thank you for helping us make great family memories.

Incredible location! The view of Lake George is amazing. Enjoyed meals out on the deck overlooking the lake. Had a couple of bonfires during our stay. House was clean and comfortable. Each
bedroom had its own individual air conditioner. TV service is through You-Tube TV. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

We had the best family time at this terrific and roomy house on Lake George NY. Being right on the water was a bonus for us and our boat. The views from the deck were awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Pros: Great location, nice dock, bedrooms are tucked away from living area.
Cons: Only have A/C in the bedrooms. Not usually an issue, but it was in the 90s a few days. Pest control could be improved.

Great family vacation on Lake George
There was plenty of room for two of my grown kids and a nephew and their families. We were lucky to have great weather and ate at the picnic table on the deck. Kitchen table also a great spot for all of us. Kitchen is very well stocked. The dock was great for tying up our boat and our stand-up-paddle boards for the week, and we made use of one of the kayaks at the house (stored in the basement). The house must have been built the same year as my parents' 1962 house -- similar style, but this one had so much room for extended family. We did not have any problems during our 6 days there. We were glad to discover the town beach not far away, and Wind Chill Factory. Loved the fire pit and the supply of split firewood.

Great Vacation
This house was very nice and comfortable. We had plenty of room for our family. There is a huge table in the kitchen and it was great to sit and chat. The living room was nice but a little too formal. We did puzzles and played games on the table in the dining room. 31/2 baths worked out well too.
There was a game room downstairs and my 13 year old grandson loved it. He watched his sports on the big tv, we played the games and laughed a lot. Making good memories.
The kitchen was well stocked and we found whatever we needed to cook or serve meals. There is an outside fire pit. Hot dogs and s’mores cooked over the fire were delicious. There were things in the garage that can help your outside cooking.
The water was cold! But some of us did swim. Beautiful view of the lake from most of the rooms in the home, great dock, lots of floating toys, nice deck with chairs and big table.
In Ticonderoga we found several good places for breakfast, lunch and dinner, small local businesses, great food and delivery too. There are things to do close by …. A great vacation.
The owner and agent were very nice and helpful when we had an issue unrelated to the rental.

Great house. Beautiful views
Our second summer. Returned to the house because of its beauty and convenient location for boat rentals. Ticonderoga is definitely the quiet side of Lake George. But it also has a lot less things to do outside of the lake itself. The house was clean and well equipped. Just wish all the mattresses were updated. That said, we will definitely be returning.

Ticonderoga VRBO
The house accommodated my family of 8 well. Property was in a great location, right on the Lake George shore. The outdoor fire pit was a big hit as well. We rented a boat for the day and was able to tie it to the dock on the property. We have fond memories on our vacation that we will treasure!

Family outing at the lake
We had a great time at the lakehouse!
Advantages:
-The location is right on the lake. It can't get better than that
-The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances and gadgets (for a rental)
-The yard out front is big and has a lot of open space
Disadvantages:
-The air conditioning only works in the bedrooms; it gets very stuffy in the kitchen and living rooms without much ventilation
-The beds aren't the most comfortable

Great Getaway
The property was nice with a good layout. It was definitely more setup for families with kids and being a group of 30 year olds just needing a weekend away, there was a bit of awkwardness. But the view was gorgeous and the situation just as great as we hoped.

Overall Great Place to stay
Overall everything was excellent. Would definitely rent again for family but would prefer to stay during warmer months next time. A few minor disappointments that I'm sure are easily resolved and will pose directly to owner as they do not hinder the quality of this home and location. Just the perfectionist in me!

great vacation house
The house is a little dated, but very well kept up and clean. Well stocked. Beds are not queen, but closer to full size. Very frendly and accommodating property management. The view is breathtaking! You can swim off the dock. Great for families and groups of friends.

Amazing Vacation House
We had the absolute best experience at this property. What a hidden gem! A large yard for the kids to run around, an amazing beach front on the lake and all the amenities you could possibly want! I wish we stayed longer so we could have enjoyed more of what they had to offer. Some of the reviews said the beds were horrible but we all slept like rocks and we used 5 of the beds! We hope to go back next year if this property is still available!

Beautiful views, charming house
I can’t express enough how beautiful the views are from the property towards the lake. The house was large enough to accommodate our group of 9 people. It provided everything we needed for our stay, including extra towels, blankets, pillows, ect... my o my complaint would be that the mattresses/box springs are very old and uncomfortable. The listing describes most beds as queens, but they seem to be smaller. And we all woke up slightly sore in the mornings. I wish the owner would upgrade the beds. Otherwise the house is perfect. We had a great time.

Great View at a Nice House
This is directly on Lake George at the “quiet “ end of the lake - while not commercially busy (especially with COVID-19 around -bring, and wear mask everywhere) there is a lot of boat / water traffic. I loved the house but it is dated. I Did Not like the exhorbitant fee VRBO levied for renting this property- and this will end my interaction with this website. Highway robbery!

Amazing location!
Such a great place to stay with family and friends! Owner was very reachable. We brought our boat and loved being right on the lake! View was spectacular. Beds could be updated... weren't overly comfortable... but a very easy fix! 😊

Wonderful lake views
The house was a good size for nine of us, although the main beds downstairs were more like full size than queen size. The deck was nice and large and the adirondack chairs very comfortable. There's a lovely view of Lake George from the property and we swam off the dock and moored a boat there too. Overall, a very good place to stay.

The House With The Best Views
Pulled into the property and the view of the lake was breath taking. The house had more than enough room for everyone. The owner had everything you would possibly need in the house and he was easy to contact. I definitely would come back!

Amazing Property and Views
The property is as advertised with awesome views of Lake George. It has multiple great locations outside and you can stay in the shade all day by shifting locations. There is plenty of indoor seating with large widow views of the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pots, and pans. The double oven is also nice. The only faults to the property are dated and old bathrooms. I look forward to returning to this vacation home.

Awesome Vacation!
The house is exactly as advertised. It’s a huge house and immaculate. Large dock accommodated 2 boats easily. Deck on the back of the house was spectacular. It faces the lake and we had wonderful lake views. It has plenty of space to eat and sit quite a few people. Best house we have rented on the lake and we have been renting for 30 years. Thanks Lawson family and property manager Mary Lou!!!

Quiet, relaxing getaway
My family and a few of our friends had an excellent time here. Quiet and peaceful area in Ticonderoga with a large but cozy house and almost no walk to the dock. It truly was amazing and we can’t wait to return!

Perfect for a large family with a lot of kids
The property was great. The kids jumped off the dock for hours at a time. There was lots of room in the house so all 12 of us weren’t bumping into each other.
The fire pit was perfect for s’mores. It’s on the quiet end of the lake, which we liked.... and there were still lots to do in the area.

Very Nice.
Thank you for the stay. We had a good time. The lady who checked in was excellent. I would really consider returning here next time. The little issues, such as the water was handled in a prompt manor. I could not complain about anything, it was more than I expected. Thanks again.

Gorgeous & Relaxing
Beautiful home on the north end of Lake George. Lots of space to spread out if you are a big group. Would recommend for sure. The only complaint I would say is that the place is a bit dated on the inside in terms of the furniture & over all decor.

Northern Lake George surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains is truly beautiful!
The camp is a lovely, quite large 1960's year round home completely furnished with linens, blankets, and all the kitchen items one needs. We did bring a crock pot and didn't see one there (but they might have one). All the rooms in the home are spacious and well furnished, including the bedrooms. The furniture is dated but adds character and charm and is comfortable with the exception of the beds. There is a huge yard with plenty of room for outside activities and parking. The dock accommodated two 19' power boats - one on each side. It is a bit challenging getting in with heavy winds and chop as there are rocks and it's quite shallow about 3' but once you get used to it, it's doable. The place came with lots of toys - 2 kayaks, blow up floaties, bikes, grill, volley ball nets, badminton, ping pong table in basement. Rated it only a 4 star because our only complaint is that all the Queen size beds need new box springs and mattresses and are really only Full size not Queen, we all had trouble sleeping on them as they were just too soft and bouncy. The Twin bed room could use new mattresses and box springs too. The bunk room was OK. The dining areas had nice views of the lake and docks from inside the house which we enjoyed. Would recommend the place as it has great privacy and is peaceful and quiet while still being on Lake George and is great having so many bathrooms and bedrooms. We went with about 12 of us and had plenty of room. Wonderful fire pit with the wind taking the smoke out towards the Lake every night!
