The check-in was very difficult number one. We didn’t know that we belonged in the bow compound. The apartment was beautiful very clean.

This property was great for our family of four and two dogs. There was a lot of space, privacy and easy access to walking areas and activities in Canmore. Our only issue was that the Wifi speed was not fast enough for video streaming in the evening when the resort was busy.

We loved the location of this property, which was convenient to Banff and many other points of interest. The town was much more navigable than Banff. The property was perfect and exactly what we needed. Thanks to the hosts for such a great stay.

Location was convenient to all activities in the Canadian Rockies. Easy hiking activities close by with beautiful views of The Three Sisters Mountain and Mount Grassi. Everything was provided to get started on a great vacation.
The entry process was seamless, even though we arrived late on our first night. Banff, Jasper, and Yoho National Parks, and Bow Valley Provincial Park were all fabulous to visit. We saw so much but we will be back because there is so much more to see.
Marc was a wonderful host. We had a great time and look forward to staying here again.

We enjoyed the condo itself. All was clean and everything one would need was provided. Nice layout and other than a couple of burnt out light bulbs and the remote for the living fireplace, everything worked well. (There were instructions for the remote, but I suspect the battery was dead…the bedroom fireplace worked fine).
We had a hiccup getting in. We received a reminder email about the entry code, and included was a number to call if there were any questions. I did call and after several minutes of checking was told there was no record of my booking. A call to VRBO solved the problem, and when we got in the room, called the property manager at a different number. This different person did have our booking, but had no idea who the first person was, or how we could have received an email with the correct access code from a different party. Strange.
Unfortunately our stay was marred because someone in the unit above, or one unit over and above (difficult to pinpoint) decided to do some renovation work. We enjoyed the sound of drills with concrete bits (a distinctive sound) and skill saws going until 11:05 pm the first night, and 10:45 the second night. I called the front desk, but have not heard anything about this.
There is no blame to the owner or property manager, but please, I kindly request that the both of you contact Solara and ensure this moron is instructed as to when construction should not be happening.

My son and his groomsmen had a wonderful stay in the condo while in Canmore for his wedding! We did have a little hiccup, out of anyone’s control during our stay but Marc was responsive and very apologetic.

The only miniscule, negative thing I can say about Solara resort is that the parkade, when relatively full of cars, made it somewhat difficult to park a full-size truck. Other than that, a perfect stay!

The property was just as listed, very clean and spacious. All other tenants were quite ant the unit is extremely sound proof.

We’re a group of friends - two couples. We stayed 3 nights. The condo itself was perfect for us - Nice sized living area/shared spaces AND privacy with the two bed/2 bath configuration. Added bonuses were the outdoor patio and a spot in the parkade. The pool/hot tub were a slight disappointment, as they were totally enclosed and the concrete walls made it very loud with just different groups trying to talk. Overall, the location is amazing and we walked into Canmore a couple of times. So many great places for delicious food and drink! With easy access to Banff National Park and Banff Downtown - Canmore is a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This beautiful condo is nestled just off Bow Valley Trail with easy walking routes to downtown. The condo is very well-equipped and has all the luxuries you would ever need. Marc was very responsive and you can tell he cares about the comfort of your stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights with another couple as part of a trip to Canada. The property was perfect for us being realistically priced, clean, tidy and well presented.Canmore is walkable and there is an onsite cafe ideal for breakfast and sandwiches etc if out walking/hiking for the day. Secure garage parking is also available. We had a minor query to which the owner responded very quickly. All in all thoroughly recommended.
