Daniel Dunes is located on the beautiful Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle. Surrounded by Deer Lake State Park, Eastern Lake to the West, and the Gulf of Mexico to the South; this home backs up to a lake with expansive westerly views of the gulf. From door to sand is less than a minute walk making it easy to head back in for lunch or a nap.
This location is one of the best locations in the Seagrove area. Situated between 2 lakes south of 30a, there is very little traffic. The house is located in a gated community on a small cul-de-sac off a dead end road making it ideal for little ones to have fun cycling. Ample bike paths great for rides to the Seagrove area restaurants and shopping; or ride on to Seaside for more activities. Also, Deer Lake State Park is within walking distance and has many trails to explore. Deer Lake is a rare coastal dune lake only found a few places in the world!
Located approximately half way between Panama City and Destin, you have less than a 30-minute drive to either destination. Gulf fishing is available in both along with a large variety of shopping and other activities.

This house was great for large families. We had a family of 15. Kids loved the bunk room. Short walk to the beach. Pool in the backyard was awesome. Lights at night made it look spectacular!! Home owner was in constant contact with me making sure everything was perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend this home!!

Fantastic time at Daniel Dunes. We have been doing yearly trips to the area for the past few years. Daniel Dunes has tons to offer. The outdoor amenities were plenty. We used them all. Bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles, beach cart etc! Daily swimming, fishing, beach trips were had. The proximity to the beach is perfect! Front area was used for soccer, baseball and football! Locally, we visited the shaved ice shop a few times, Khave and Cream, and went to dinner at Beachcamp brewery.
Marina (host) is great and easy to work with. Timely responses and a great source of information. We enjoyed this part of 30A more than the “busier” sections that we’ve stayed at previously. Hoping for a repeat 2024 adventure!

Wonderful house with an amazing location!
We loved our stay here at Daniel Dunes!! We have never been to this area of Florida and immediately fell in LOVE. The location of this house is great and we felt so welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door. We rented a golf cart and spent days going to Seaside for lunch and adventuring around the area. Our children spent tons of time in the warm pool and kayaking in the lake. Our favorite spot in the house had to be the porch swing. The sunset from there is UNREAL. We definitely will be back to 30A and will forever cherish our memories in this house. Thank you so much for being such a great host! :)

TONS OF EXTRAS!
Daniel Dunes is loaded with lots of extra fun for families. There is a swimming pool that can be heated, a lake in the back with a private dock for dishing, a grill which we used for 3 meals, 4 kayaks, plenty of adults’ & children’s bikes, lots of beach chairs & beach umbrellas. There is a bed-sized porch swing overlooking the Gulf which is great for naps.
We rented for Thanksgiving & were delighted to see 2 refrigerator/freezers and a double oven to hold & bake our Thanksgiving dinner.
The owners could not be a nicer person to rent from. They make their guests feel very special.

50th anniversary celebration
This beach house is very functional. It has everything that it advertises except "2 minutes from front door to water". It is more like 10 minutes. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful. However the pictures on the website show a stunning home and this house is on the shabby side. The furniture is beat up, pillows need to be replaced ( at least in the mother in law suite) and the cupboards need to be cleaned out to remove broken or unusable dishes. For example there is the bottom of a blender but no top portion for it. The beach cart is a life saver and wonderful to use. The garage is pretty cluttered and we set aside 3 broken beach chairs. However there was plenty of water and sand toys to accommodate most anyone's needs. We also enjoyed the ping pong table except because the garage was so crowded it was hard to play. Overall we had a wonderful time and as I mentioned it had everything we needed for the week. I guess we were disappointed upon seeing the house after seeing the pictures online and the reviews of others that had used the house.

This home is a great place for all! It has a separate suite for a grandparent couple or a couple with small children on a nap early evening sleeping pattern. The garage is a “toy store” for the beach!!!! Couldn’t have been better! Walk to the beach easy. Would recommend!!!!

We had a very enjoyable week! The house was the perfect fit for our family! The pool behind the house was great to have! Great scenery from the house and nice and close to the beach! Views make this house!
We were pleasantly surprised how nice the views were from Daniel Dunes. Also, it was really nice to be on a dead end so the kids could play without many cars driving, and it was much quieter than other areas. Seaside and Rosemary beach were just a short drive, so we ended up renting a golf cart since we saw so many others did so as well. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed, and just a short walk to the beach. Marina at 30A Guest is very good with communicating quickly whenever we had any questions. Daniel Dunes Paradise!!
We had a wonderful vacation at Daniel Dunes. Marina was very responsive to all of our questions leading up to and during our stay. The house was very clean when we arrived and we were able to check in early which was perfect. The house has everything a large group needs, including all the goodies in the garage – bicycles for our whole group were a pleasant surprise! Marina has thought of everything! The house is a very short walk to the beach which was good since we had our parents with us so they could enjoy the beach as well. As others have noted, the beach cart at the house is the most amazing thing-easy to push across the sand and huge to carry everything we needed. The views from every room are amazing. We also enjoyed the celebrities that live nearby-we could watch from the deck! Thanks for letting us stay in your piece of paradise!!

As close to gulf front as you can get without the gulf front prices!
The best thing about Daniel Dunes is how close you really are to the gulf! We were thrilled when we drove up to find the beach only steps away and the views from almost every room were wonderful! The house has lots of covered decks all the way around with so much great outdoor furniture that we could all sit out on the decks to enjoy sunsets together, and there were 17 of us! The pool was a nice retreat from the days at the beach and it is SOOO private with the lake behind it which makes such a beautiful setting. We ended up taking lots of family photos in front of the lake behind the house. Marina provides so many things in the garage for renters to use which makes this house a BARGAIN! And, that beach cart is absolutely AMAZING!!! We were the envy of everyone around us and many took pictures of it to find where it was purchased-you may need to get some commissions from that company! We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

Great for families
This was a great home and set up for our group. The home came with extras like bikes and boogie boards that helped make our beach vacation even better. The pool was a tremendous hit for our kids and the walk to the beach was not bad at all. We worked directly with the owners and they were fantastic and on top of anything that we needed.

Gulf Views Sold Us on Daniel Dunes
Thank you so much for allowing us to vacation in your home! We had four families staying and everyone agreed this has been our favorite house in the area. I can't say enough about the views! We watched the sunrise and sunset every day from the decks (upper decks off the masters are my favorite). The owner is great to work with, and gave us suggestions on places to eat and other things to do on the 1 rainy day we had. Everyone on the beach was so jealous of the fabulous beach cart which made bringing everything to the beach super easy, and the fact it even has umbrella holders in it was over the top! Everything about this house is well thought out and the owners have so much fun stuff included that would have been unaffordable for us to rent. Perfect Vacation!

Annual Family Beach Vacation
Loved our stay at Daniel Dunes! Our family of 9 people had lots of space and the garage full of play equipment (including beach, bikes and ping pong) made this beach visit very enjoyable (with no additional expense)! This was our 6th annual family beach vacation - we have tried 4 other locations (in Destin) and finally discovered THE one for us! We have already reserved Daniel Dunes for 2020 and our family was discussing next year’s vacation plans as we walked out the door!!!!

Perfect Spot
We have been coming to the South Walton area for the past 10 years and stayed in many different neighborhoods. We finally found our favorite! Seagrove Beach is secluded enough where the beaches aren't crowded, but still close enough to bike to restaurants and shops. Daniel Dunes had so many extras that we can't think about ever renting anywhere else again. I could list everything out, but just go stay there-you won't be disappointed! Marina is great to work with and VERY responsive! We texted her as we were driving for dining suggestions and within a minute she texted us back with several of her favorites. She is passionate about the area and it really showed in our conversations. We already referred our friends who are staying later this summer! Marina at 30AGuest was Great!
The owner of Daniel Dunes really cares about the people staying at their home! Before we even arrived, she gave us lots of information including places to eat and rent baby items we needed during our stay. The house was spotless, and the best part was that it was kid friendly. We didn't have to spend the first hour of our vacation putting breakable items out of reach from our little ones. The beach is SOOOO CLOSE, like other reviews suggest, the pictures don't really show how close it is. Also, there is not much traffic in this area at all so our gang could play ball in the neighborhood streets. All the bicycles were a nice surprise too! We will definitely be back again!

Great House!
We had a wonderful stay for our winter break with the kids. We had 3 families with us and everyone was glad to find all the goodies in your garage!! Perfect weather-Perfect house-Perfect location
We actually just checked out of Daniel Dunes today (we were sad to leave!). We had a wonderful stay. The weather was amazing and allowed us to take out both kayaks and both SUPs several days so everyone on our vacation could enjoy being out on the water. Thanks so much for allowing us to use all those items. I've never rented a home that offers so many extras! The beach is so close and it wasn't crowded at all. We went to Seaside once and were so happy to have a house where the beaches weren't packed. Loved the restaurants close by - Old Florida Fishhouse was our favorite - remember to join their waitlist online! Really can't say enough about the house - the kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of room for all of us. Also, LOVED all the outdoor furniture to watch the amazing sunsets!

Everyone was jealous of us because of all the things that were included - I think I may have gotten you a booking for next year from people staying in your neighbor's house - hope they don't get mad! Having kayaks and paddleboards whenever we want to use them was one of the best assets of this home because EVERYONE enjoyed using them! And because there were so many, we could all go out in large groups together which was perfect. We would never have rented that many if we stayed at another home. Owners are GREAT to work with
We recently stayed at Daniel Dunes shortly after the hurricane came through just to the east. Marina was so wonderful to call us prior to our stay to let us know their home was fine and the utilities were coming back up. She was in constant communication with us to make sure we would have cable, internet/ and power before we traveled for our vacation. The home was much better than we expected. As other reviews state, the pictures just can't do this home justice. And, there is SO MUCH included with this home! It literally would cost several thousand a week to rent the items that are included which make this house our top pick every time. We will be back soon! Thanks again Marina!!

Awesome!
We had the best time staying at Daniel Dunes. We had 3 families and there was plenty of room for us all. The house was very clean on arrival which was great since not many rentals pass my mom's inspection! The kids LOVED all the beach toys in the garage. It was so nice not to have to bring all those things with us. Can't say enough about the views! They are much better than the pictures show so we were pleasantly surprised. It was so nice to watch the sunset from the balconies each evening. Daniel Dunes is definitely going on our favorite list to stay again when we come to the Florida Panhandle.

Already planning our next stay at Daniel Dunes
We had a great time at Daniel Dunes. It did rain a few days, but Marina gave us some great ideas for things to do and we absolutely loved our time at Shard Shop and came home with some beautiful treasures! We will be going back there next time even if it doesn't rain. The house was great and more than we expected. It was very clean on arrival and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed since we did a lot of cooking to avoid going out too much. The grill was used almost every night and we really enjoyed all the outdoor seating to dine outside. We even dined outside on rainy days since the decks are covered. As many others have noted, all the extras in the garage make renting this house a no-brainer. You just can't get all those things in any other rental home! We will be back next year, just need to coordinate calendars and we will be in touch. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

We've stayed on 30A for many years and this location is our favorite! It's off 30A more than most communities so it's quiet, but still very close to Seaside and Rosemary when you want to shop or eat. The house was perfect for us and we've never stayed anywhere that offered so many extras! Thanks so much for sharing and trusting us with your kayaks, paddleboards, etc. We made use of everything and kept discussing how much money it would have cost us to rent all those - which we never would have done if we had to pay for them. We enjoyed eating on the outdoor decks - this house has plenty of tables and chairs on the decks to accommodate everyone. On the one rainy day we had, we made use of the ping pong table in the garage and had a family tournament. Also, we were able to do 3 of your top 10 list from your online site - dinner at Crust, sandcastle building, and Cypress Springs. Five Stars for Daniel Dunes!! We had 15 people (10 adults and 5 children) staying in the house and it was an awesome week! The house had ample room for everyone and the separate suite in the basement was perfect for the couple without children who needed a break now and then from the chaos. We utilized all the extras in the garage daily (ping pong, kayak, paddle board, beach cart, sand toys, beach chairs, life jackets, bicycles, etc, etc). Having lots of options for the crowd was delightful. We loved loved loved having 6 beach chairs with 3 umbrellas set up for us daily at the beach. What a special treat not to have to cart SO much to the beach each day. There's plenty of shopping and restaurants within an easy drive and a nice little coffee shop within walking distance. The area is very active with families all enjoying themselves and in no way did I feel any stress from loud or raucous neighbors. There are lots of comfortable sturdy lounge chairs around the pool and enough seating on the decks to accommodate us all for dinner. The views are very good and offer plenty of happy sunshine to float into your living environment. We had one small issue with a bike lock and Marina was easy to get hold of and quick to offer a couple of options for solution. Overall a very comfortable, safe and enjoyable week for us all.

We had a great time at Daniel Dunes in Seagrove over spring break. The weather was perfect and even though the gulf water was a little cool, we could still spend some time in the water. Our family reunion for the week of Thanksgiving was absolutely wonderful. There were three generations who enjoyed this great house with all of its living quarters. The babies were separated from the grandparents and the teenagers had their own room. The beach was absolutely as beautiful as one would expect from a Florida Panhandle beach, but the owners provided all of the beach toys the three generations could expect from beach chairs, buckets and shovels, kayaks, standup surf boards, crab traps, and the bikes to get from point A to point B without sitting in traffic. A fully equipped kitchen provided us with day to day meals plus a gormet Thanksgiving dinner for 16 people. We actually caught and ate some of the crab we trapped. We also loved the heated pool and great table that we played Uno on nightly. The only down side I can think of is that it gets dark at 5:00 sharp and it's not a very safe to bike after dark with no street lights.

We stayed at Daniel Dunes for a wedding and found the accommodations exceeded are expectations. We didn't realize we would have gulf views from virtually every room of the house! And the other rooms overlooked the lake which wasn't bad either. So, there was no fighting over which couple took which room at all. The beach was also much closer than we expected which was nice for those of us with bad knees. We didn't get to use all the extras that we wanted to because we had so many wedding activities so we will be back for a true vacation next time. We didn't want to pay the prices of being gulf front, so we found Daniel Dunes.....lucky for us, Daniel Dunes is practically gulf front! The views are great from almost every room of the house and the walk to the beach is extremely short. The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed plus all the extras in the garage! The location and extras truly make this house unbeatable. Thanks for sharing your home!
