This 2- Bedroom + Loft + Den condo functions as a 4-Bedroom has been nicely renovated throughout, and has good amenities onsite, yet comes with an affordable price. A few of the features you'll enjoy include hardwood flooring throughout the main level, beautiful marble like Corian counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, reclaimed barn-wood fireplace, and vaulted ceilings in the living room and loft. The condo has a consistent, clean, mountain chic style and decor throughout.
On the main level, there are two bedrooms with Queens, ideal for couples. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Upstairs, the 3rd bedroom and loft bedroom each have multiple beds, making them ideal for singles or kids. The third bedroom is a Twin over Full, so if your group has 3 couples, this condo still works! This 3rd bedroom also has a large HDTV, a couple of comfy chairs, and an original Nintendo video game system, complete with controllers and games. Designed as a place for kids to hang out, we know that some parents will find the nostalgic call of childhood video games too much to resist. In this condo, there are a total of 4 HDTVs, which will allow any media loving group the opportunity to spread out once you're home from a day of adventure. Want to bring your family and friends together o enjoy each other's company? The main living and dining area gives you that opportunity!
The condo and the development offer some additional benefits to travelers. In the condo, enjoy free Wifi, your own washer and dryer, a warm and trouble free gas fireplace, a covered balcony, and nice views of the mountains. The development has a couple of hot tubs and in the summer, the pool opens. There are a couple of BBQ areas, a playground, and right down the street, Whistler Park is a great place for kids, with a large playground area, large flat fields, and charcoal grills.
The location of this property is a nice benefit. This development is located at the corner of Walton Creek Road and Whistler Road, where the free city bus picks up every 10 minutes. Getting anywhere in town is easy, no car needed.. However, this particular condo is actually closer to the intersection of Walton Creek Road and Village Drive, which means that walking to Gondola Square is actually pretty doable, especially if you're renting your skis with free overnight storage in Gondola Square! Just head to the right from the parking lot, slightly uphill for about 50 yards, and then you have a nice flat sidewalk leading right to Gondola Square. Another option is to walk across the street from the bus stop, and follow the paved path along Burgess Creek right to the Gondola. Summer guests will like Gondola Square just as much as winter guests, as the base area comes alive with so many activities, events, shows, concerts, and festivals. With Burgess Creek flowing through it all, the base area in summer is a great place to be, and with no snow on the ground, an even easier walk than in ski season. This development is also right up the street from the Yampa River. From here, you can walk, stroll, or bike along the Burgess Creek Trail and the Yampa River Core Trail, which follows the river all the way into Downtown Steamboat, about 3.5 miles away, and then keeps going!

Condo is very spacious and was in an easy to access location. Unfortunately, we came during a heatwave. So when we arrived at the condo it was unbearable. The heat plus acclimating to the altitude made it for a difficult afternoon/evening. I'm the end we went to
Walmart to buy a box fan and another smaller/powerful fan since the condo had some fans but they didn't blow any air.
Thankfully some locals gave us tips on how to cool down the condo so we could sleep at night.

The condo needed to be cleaned better and the neighbors smoke dirt thing in the morning and at night so it was had to leave the windows open to cool the condo as there is no a/c. The fans that they give to circulate the air are all really dirty and need to be cleaned and the blinds in the 2 queen bed rooms are broken as stated in a previous review but said they had been fixed. We had a group of 7 and there wasn’t enough silverware to for 1 meal and everyone to have a fork. The beds were comfortable but the “kids” room had a urine smell to it. The price was decent for our group and considering the location, and last minute booking. But I would probably not stay here again or recommend it.

I would highly recommend this property. The owners make it very easy for guests from out of town by providing the little things like hand soaps, a little shampoos and conditioner samples, paper towels, detergent, and even spices in the cabinet making it easy to cook family meals instead of going out to eat ! The loft offers extra sleeping space for larger families . Steamboat ski resort is highly accessible with the bus transportation line being right out in front of the condos. We’ve stayed 2 years in a row.

This was the perfect space for our family of 5. All the kids had their own bedroom! The blinds could use replacement and the TVs in the bedrooms wouldn’t work, but the beds were comfy and the place was spotless. We loved our stay here just minutes from downtown and close to grocery store and restaurants.

The condo was dirty and if it was recently remodeled it was by a middle school woodworking shop class. I think the unit is not well managed as the lack of cleaning has to fall on them.
The pots and pans available were in terrible condition, burnt and scrapped up inside.
The refrigerator makes a noise like a pump inside of it is going out.
The stove was filthy, we tried cleaning but it is just to burnt up and beat up.
The table in the dining area is rough and rustic which makes it uncleanable.
The door in the downstairs bathroom will not open fully as it hits against the toilet. You have to open as far as you can, walk in and them shut the door to get to the toilet and shower. Like I said whoever remodeled this place doesn’t have any real skills.
One of the upstairs units is located in a closet like room has no windows which is a problem since the unit is not air conditioned or ventilation.
The front door jam is cracked as if someone forced enter, it isn’t secure at all.
Window shades are broken.
I know this isn’t a specific problem with the unit but one of the second floor tenants is a heavy pot smoker. First thing in the morning and again in the evening. You can’t set on the balcony because of the smoke and fumes.
I could go on and on but I think you can get the jest of what this unit is about. The unit owner needs to see the mess this unit is in.

The number of rooms and beds was perfect for us. The location was very convenient. The pool is small but perfect for the small kids. The beds were very comfortable thank you! Keep in mind there is no AC so just fans. This means over about 80 and it starts getting a bit warm (third floor). Also, if the neighbors are smoking pot it comes right in if you don't adjust the open/closed windows accordingly. I think late fall, winter and early spring would be perfect for this location but I probably wouldn't do this one again in August. Mostly well taken care of but a few things are a bit "tired" like broken window blinds and worn furniture but the price reflects that so I think overall a very fair and reasonable stay. Thanks!

Summer Vacation
We stayed with our 3 elementary aged boys and had a wonderful vacation. The location is a great home base as you explore the Steamboat area. We took advantage of the pool every day. The apartment has everything you need and plenty of space. I would definitely recommend!!

Convenient but Needs Updates
The space was a good size for our group of 8. Everyone had their own space and the views were nice. There were some items that were in desperate need of updating though, which I have notified the management company but did not receive any response until over a day later and I had to call them.

Great location, good value accommodations for a beautiful mountain!
Traveled with a group of 8 for 5 nights and we loved the location near the resort and the hot tub on the property! It was great having laundry in our unit also. Really well stocked with plenty of blankets, towels and toiletries. Free local bus is a couple minute walk from the unit and is great if you can time it right! We walked a few times to the gondola and it only took 12-15 minutes carrying our gear, less the time we walked back and put gear in or of our rental cars. Great value stay, we’d love to stay here again!

This property was sufficient. The pool was not great and the people around the pool were vulgar and either drinking or smoking a ton of weed. The house was nice and had all we needed. The location for town was great and Steamboat Springs is fantastic.

The location of the property was convenient and the property was quiet and private. However, checking in on time was quite a hassle. Management asked us to delay checking in since the cleaning person was not able to attend to the property on time. We were ready to check in and had to wait quite a while. Finally, after we checked in, we all noticed how dirty the place was. The beds were clean and the bathrooms were somewhat touched up, but one toilet was dirty, there was hair in the kitchen sink and bathtubs, kitchen cabinets needed wiping, tables were dusty, there were coffee stains on a decorative plate in a bedroom...... Not very pleased with any of this! Right away I sent management photos. Eventually, they apologized and refunded the cleaning fee.

This is in a great location! Close to downtown, strawberry hot springs, lake catamount, etc. The space was great and beds were comfortable. Would definitely consider renting here again.

This is a great place , very nicely decorated and well stocked with towels, bedding, TP, etc.
We loved the unit but it was so hot when we were there and there is no a/c and the fans did not help much. The pool was great and well maintained. Check in directions were very easy to follow. People need to know this unit is on the third floor and you have to be able to haul everything up three floors.

Awesome mountain condo
we had an excellent time in Steamboat. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the pool and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. We were close to parks and downtown Steamboat. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Overall great time!

Not a great experience
We stayed here the first week of August, temps were hot in Steamboat. This is a 3rd floor unit with a loft. By mid day, the unit is easily 80+ degrees and upstairs is even hotter. It was so hot upstairs, you cannot sleep up there (which is where the kids bunk beds are and the other twin beds). There are fans in the unit but do not help enough. Half the blinds are broken and hard to open fully. Another problem is the neighbor downstairs smokes pot constantly in his bathroom, which then fills the main floor bathroom with a heavy pot smoke smell. Not good for small children to be exposed to constantly. We expressed our concerns to the rental management company and asked if we could leave a day early and refund our money for the last night, which they refused to do and told us to go knock on the neighbors door ourselves and ask him to stop smoking inside. We were extremely displeased and will not stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Convenient and affordable
This was a great find! We needed to get away with all the crazy covid stuff going on and wanted a place where the kids could just swim and have fun. The location of this vrbo is right by the pool which was so convenient for us to keep and eye on our kids. The amount of beds in this place makes for a great place to stay for big families or a few families staying together. The vrbo was equipped with everything we needed. The bathrooms are a bit outdated, but very clean. We smelled bleach as soon as we arrived, which was reassuring. The only thing I would say that wasn’t the best was the lack of AC or swamp cooler. The upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a window and felt like an attic. The loft was better at least because it has windows, but it still got very hot upstairs. I would suggest a small ac for the upstairs or a swamp cooler to make things more comfortable in the summer. Overall, an amazing value and we’ll definitely look to stay there again!

For the price, you can't beat the location! Just a couple bus stops from Gondola Square, and from the grocery. Downtown is a little longer of a bus ride for food, but definitely manageable.
