Centrale ma poco accogliente

La posizione centrale, i letti comodi.

L'umidità persino nelle lenzuola. Al piano di sopra ci sono 2 minuscole stanze separate da una parete di legno o cartongesso. La struttura è arredata in modo approssimativo e disordinato.

A wonderful stay in beautiful Gaeta in a sparkling clean and very well appointed apartment. Delighted!

Loved the central location and that it was so exceptionally clean. The host, Ida, was so lovely and helpful and it seemed genuinely important to her that we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

A home away from home.

Ida was a wonderful, kind host. The house was full of so much charm and character. It was in a great location.

There was alot of banging early in the morning from next door.

This is a 'getaway' stay ... in a secluded location providing peace and silence against the backdrop of a medieval town crowned by forested hills that invite the walker.¨ The Little Art House is not luxury, nor does it pretend to be. The amenities - on two floors - are simple and to the point. Nothing is lacking as far as basic comforts are concerned, including - in the torrid summer conditions - effective dehumidification and air conditioning (keep every window, etc. shuddered!). The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen, though modest, sports enough appliances, etc. to enable the preparation of a good meal. (The restaurants just down the street offer a wide variety of local and more national cuisine - such as the local 'pizza', which is far from anything the Neapolitans produce) Finally, the owner and host is a delightful, empassioned - artistic - lady (with a boutique of her wares just down the road) who adds to the fun of getting to know and appreciate Gaeta. Recommended!

Highly Recommended

The host was very nice. She assisted us with the facilities in the apartment, it was quite well equipped despite of the antique feel. She even guided us for grabbing local food right next door.

The speed of WiFi in the apartment isn't upto my personal expectations.

Cool apartment in beautiful Gaeta Vecchia

Beautiful decorations, spacious apartment, well equipped and great location in the city. Very friendly host made our arrival and departure easy. It’s good value for money and again, location and design are excellent which makes for a nice stay. Next time in Gaeta we would pick this place again.

Only 2 points that keep it from being perfect: 1) Parking The city of Gaeta charges 15€ for 24h and longer deals are not available. Plus it is very difficult to find a parking. Not the fault of the host, but given that Gaeta practically can only be reached by car, some kind of parking arrangement support or parking deal with the town would be very helpful. 2) Constant need to dehumidify the apartment. Again, not necessarily the fault of the host and like the parking a problem that all places in Gaeta Vecchia have. Yet is it something to manage during the stay.

Very pleasant, with everything one could need.

The location was very pretty, near a beautiful church with a view on the sea. The host was very kind and flexible with the check-in. The house has everything you could need and the host provides you with drinks and food for breakfast.

Great location and easy going host in a nice quirky house.

Nice house quirkily decorated in the owner's own art style, in a great central location. The host, Ida, was extremely nice to deal with and help sort out parking for example, which is tricky in the town, plus she helped us with recommendations.

The kitchen equipment and facilities were very limited. Could do with more plates, bowls, glasses, cups, mugs etc plus a few more kitchen utensils. The beds were simple metal spring beds and not great. Very soft. However, it seems the norm in house rentals in Italy.

Exceptional

It's a beautiful looking house and pretty comfortable for a small stay. Got 4 beds for a family of 4 to stay in with a kitchen to boot. The stove was kinda hard to figure out, but the host is very helpful if you ever run into any trouble with anything.

The inside of the house would get pretty cold sometimes, but nothing overwhelming.
