About this house rental

Huntsville town does not allow short term rentals. Please inquire to owner if there has been a booking within the last 30 so that you can book time. Amazing lakefront views & large backyard with a Jacuzzi with stunning views of the lake and mountains. Bedroom one has king sized bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed. Bedroom 3 has queen sized bed. Basement has 2 bunks. The kitchen is well stocked & dining area accommodates 10. Fireplace is enjoyed from both living and kitchen. TV room with 55' flat screen TV. Loft has pool table and ping pond option as well as flat screen TV. Full sized laundry room. Enjoy curling up with a book by the window and watching wildlife pass by....Moose, deer, etc. Or spend your day skiing or riding at one of many ski resorts in the Utah area. Snow Basin and Powder Mountain are closest 10 & 20 mins and Park City, Alta & Snowbird are approximately an 1 to 1.5 hours drive. Summer lake sports are available nearby at Club Rec...Boating, water skiing, kayaking, SUP, etc.

House and location are amazing! Pictures do not do this place justice. Modern-rustic luxury in a dream-like setting. We actually extended our stay by 5 nights, because we didn’t want to leave. Janet is very responsive. All in all, a wonderful stay. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful time! The home is beautiful and very comfortable, and the kids had fun playing ping pong upstairs. The view is amazing! We enjoyed going to the local restaurants in Huntsville (the Shooting Star Saloon and BBQ place). We had a great time skiing at both Snow Basin and Powder Mountain. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The thoughtfully decorator lakeside home was perfect for a week of relaxation. Enjoyed dining outside and campfires lakeside in the backyard. My husband fished the lake early each day when it was calm and peaceful. We loved evening walks in the picturesque neighborhood and went on several hikes in the surrounding area. Many good dining options - some local and others 30 mins away in Ogden. Owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

We thoroughly loved the view of the lake and mountains from the house in Huntsville. The location is super close to the town and park and we could walk to everything. We loved sitting outside on the grass and looking over the lake and at the mountains. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and making smores. And we had convenient access to the lake to our waverunners. And the owner was great to work with. We look forward to coming back each year to stay here.

Great location, minutes from beach and good barbeque. House was perfect size and has everything you need! Kids loved the big screen TV, of course, and the games in the house. Backyard is right on the water and neighbors were very friendly. Evenings were really nice, but no AC during the day. That would be my only issue, after a long day on the water it was still pretty hot in the house. We look forward to staying here again and would highly reccomend the house!

One last spring break with my son before he graduates college and we were lucky enough to find this cabin. Everything about it was perfect....size, location, comfort, and the view! Each night returning from the mountain felt like we were coming home. Driving by the park with kids playing, the church bell ringing on the hour, and the geese honking on the lake right outside our door. On top of everything, Janet was great to work with. She made sure everything was in order prior to our arrival and even checked in via email to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied.

For the Christmas Holiday I was looking for an art retreat for myself and my writer girlfriend. Me being an artist I look for beautiful surroundings and solitude to get the most out of a creative holiday. This cabin was absolutely perfect for us, it was isolated enough to feel secluded and had all the amenities of modern living, and close enough to the town to get any supplies we needed. It was comfortable and fun with plenty of room, great furniture and a perfect location on the lake. I will definitely be return in the summer to enjoy a lake holiday!
