We came to Kirkland for an anniversary getaway and to catch a concert at Chateau Ste Michelle. We were blown away by how beautiful Norm and Marcy’s place was! The grounds are gorgeous, the place is super, super adorable and has everything you would need. We even did yoga on the front patio:)
Norm and Marcy were such gracious and wonderful hosts and we loved our chats with them and hope our paths cross again!

It was an exceptional experience to stay at this cottage! Everything was clean, neat and carefully curated to create a beachy vibe. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen so cute and easy to use! The grounds were amazing! A fountain, a gazebo, just glorious flower everywhere! I love victoriana, and it was a paen to that time. I can't wait to go back and explore again!

Beautiful, open cottage on a hidden, one acre property in a wooded neighborhood. Decor is all Nantucket themed. Very quiet and clean with a cozy gas fireplace. Full kitchen with all the amenities. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area.

We had a great time staying at this cute cottage. It was pretty cold, but the fireplace was great, and really nice to have, as well as the space heater. Place was tidy and cozy and perfect for our little family. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely spot to stay. Close to wineries and good restaurants. Lovely lakeside only minutes away. Super clean and quiet. Mattress is beyond its best before date but we still slept. Recommended for a couples or solo getaway to the Seattle area.

My husband and I needed a place to stay pre cruise. Saw the pictures on VRBO and immediately fell in love with the cottage. Norm and Marcy made us feel at home. It was wonderful having them a few steps away and they made sure we had everything we needed. It was such a pleasure to meet them and learn more about our hosts. If we travel to the Seattle area in the future, this cute cottage will be our go place to stay. Thank you Norm and Marcy!

The cottage was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need.
The location was perfect.
The hosts Marcy and Norm were wonderful.
If there was anything negative for me, it was backing out of the driveway. It's fairly narrow.

Absolutely stunning property! The cottage is so clean and comfortable. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, our only regret was that we were too busy to spend as much time enjoying the cottage and beautiful garden areas as we would have liked.

We had a good experience overall as we only slept and ate breakfast at the cottage. The bed was very noisy and the slightest movement would wiggle the bed quite a bit. Probably great for one person but not so much for two large adults. We also experienced the dying flys and ants next to the window beds.

We were looking for a place to stay after a 10 day Alaskan cruise. Somewhere we could rest, relax and repack for the the next portion of our road trip. This quaint cottage located on beautifully manicured grounds was just the place! We loved the quiet, comfortable magical little slice of heaven if only for 3 days!

Loved this beautifully gardened location. The yard is an absolute gardener’s heaven. At the center is a huge beautiful tree. Little gazebo, little patio all adorned with amazing flowers and greenery. What a great place!

Charming, tastefully decorated, private cottage in a great location. We attended a concert at Chateau St Michelle Winery and this was the perfect place to stay. Lovely garden setting, quiet neighborhood, close to lots of great places to visit. We walked at Juanita Beach and went to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens.

The cottage and garden are amazing.
My wife and I did a short weekend staycation to have some alone adult time. The hosts were very gracious in allowing us to drop off our groceries and luggage early so we could do a bike ride on the nearby Burke-Gilman and Sammamish River trails. After our bike ride we took a Lyft to nearby downtown Kirkland for a wonderful meal on the town.
We spent all of Saturday on the property enjoying the lovely cottage decor and hanging out on the swing on the deck at sunset.
A truly wonderful experience. We have a concert at nearby Chateau Ste Michelle this summer and are looking to make this our home base for that trip!

The owners are great helpful people, who take pride of what they offer; it shows with the maintenance of the place and gardens around the property. The decorations and color palate of the place makes it a very soothing retreat. I will go back recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful accommodations and service as always staying here. Norm and Marcy have created a unique, private, comfortable oasis just outside the busy city. I always enjoy staying here when I’m town on business.

The property and the accommodation is delightfully decorated. Marcy is an a tentative host and is very kind, accommodating, and welcoming. She even made up two additional beds for the 1 of 3 nights where my adult daughter and son in law stayed with me before flying out the next morning.
The only problem I had was over three nights, enormous, horse flies would be found all over the cottage. I was surprised because I stayed during the month of December and I only thought flies came around during hot summer months.
We didn’t know how they were getting in. The property is pretty lush, with beautiful topiaries, trees, etc., so I figured that’s why they existed.
It was strange to see some of the horseflies spinning around on their backs on the floor, and we could hear the buzzing of their wings, and at first, we thought it was electricity, since we would hear them in different corners of the cottage. Then we realized they were little flies, spinning around on the wood flooring as if they were dying and couldn’t get up again. It as if somebody had previously treated the cottage.
Days later I saw that underneath the kitchen sink, there was a bottle of Raid, so I figured that’s what was happening; that the problem was one they were trying to treat, and the bugs that were struggling on the floor being round have been exposed to poison.
I’m total, I killed about a dozen flies per day each of my three days there. If a person is afraid of flies, it would bother them. For me I’m not afraid of flies, but I spent a lot of my time swatting flies when I should’ve been enjoying the accommodation. It was rather expensive to have been charged with that extra inconvenience.
Once the problem is remedied, I think it would be enjoyable for anyone to stay here and again the host was great.
