One of the better Wheelchair Accessible rooms I have stayed in over the last 20 years. My wife loved the deer who bedded down out in the yard.

All good.

The local deer were enjoyable to watch. The bed was unusually comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. We were warm and comfortable for our whole stay. The only minor issue was the noise from the occupants on the second floor as they walked up and down the stairs.

Would definitely stay here again!

The living room heater doesn’t work. The toilet handle sticks on
It was was nice it would be nice to have rugs by the sinks for the cold floor. The price was a little high

Lovely lodge
The unit was very clean and had great finishes/fixtures. Our only complaints were the mattress on the main bed was much too soft for us and left us achy. Also, being on the first floor we heard EVERYTHING the people above us were doing and they were up very late. We did not get good nights of rest on our trip. I would stay here again... just maybe on the upper floor!

Very nice but more sound proofing between floors would be nice

Great short term stay
Easy access, full kitchen [with minimal cookware, which was fine] , internet was not all that great [I work remote and needed to log on for a few hours], great location, and overall the property manager was an excellent communicator and helpful. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything!

Perfection for Christmas!
#3 apartment where we stayed was roomy with a good-sized kitchen. The kitchen lacks some basic things like serving bowls and more wine glasses - only 4 poorly mixed in size and shape. Truly awful cooking knives so bring your own. A real treat were the bathroom towels and linens! The towels were fluffy and thick and the bed linens soft and cozy in the cold. The apt. is so well insulated we never set the heat above 60. The grounds are beautiful on a sweet creek and a gazebo. We’ve stayed in several different rentals/B&B’s and this will definitely be our future choice, always.

A great condo and beautiful place
We really enjoyed the condo for the time we were there to celebrate our 58th anniversary. There were some things however that should be addressed and I don't have an answer for one of them.
The noise from the upstairs apartment is something that is a problem, however we were able to meet the people in there and they were much quieter the next night.
One thing that could be handled however is a small 4 drawer dresser for the residents to use to store some of their things in such as underwear and socks, extra pants, etc. A 4 drawer unit for around $85.00 could be had from Home Depot and would fit in the bathroom or area under the stairwell.
As a side note, a foot stool for the chair would be nice but is a preference for the person sitting there.
We did enjoy the condo however and if ever coming back would try for a room upstairs.

cozy, homey hideout
We loved this place! It is a hidden gem right in town. quiet, comfy and serene. From our porch we sat and watched 2 bucks, 2 doe's and 2 fawns sleep, eat and hang out for hours on the lush green lawn and landscaping. literally just feet away! The condo was clean, modern and provided everything necessary.( also the shower was hot and powerful, which is rare these days)
It is located right in town, with great shopping boutiques, grocery store and restaurants literally just a short few blocks away. The scenery and wildlife are spectacular. I know we will stay there again!

Great location, mixed reviews.
Great location with all of downtown within a few blocks. Unit #3 is newly remodeled with good quality components. However they missed the mark in a few areas. No drawer storage in the bath or bedroom. No coat closet or hooks at the front door. Add-on AC unit with less than secure installation, (duct through window). The noise from the upper unit was annoying to say the least. Maybe go with carpet upstairs? Bath amenities were skimpy and no hair dryer. Took two days to get one from the owner. Would not stay on the main floor again. Close but no cigar on the remodel. This is from a retired real estate appraisers perspective.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and our condo was clean and spacious. The location is perfect, close to activities in town and the lake! We will come back!

Very nice, but be advised of its challenges
Stayed in Unit 3. It is the farthest walk from the parking lot so having luggage with wheels or a cart to lug things - which we did have - helps. These units are very nicely decorated, everything is new, well maintained, kitchen thoughtfully equipped, bed quite comfy, bathroom huge and water pressure fantastic. Number 3 does have its challenges. It is really dark in there. We turned every light in the place on when we were inside or it was depressing to be in the rooms. Also, the bedroom has side tables! Unit 1 doesn't, but what Unit 1 has that 3 doesn't is a dresser. Living out of our suitcases was a drag during our multi-day stay. Please innkeeper replace the chair with a dresser. The other challenge is that the unit upstairs has two bedrooms and one of them has bunkbeds. While we were there our neighbors upstairs had three young children. They were charming kids, but man the tromping overhead was also a drag. It started early and went on quite late into the evening. Good that the room has a bistro table just outside the door that we used for most of our meals and easy access to the meadowlike lawn and landscaped grounds. There is a charming area with Bar BQ's and a little stream. We sat out there most mornings listening to birds and looking at the mountains in the distance. All in all this is a very nice property, is centrally located so you can walk to anything in town and get a good nights sleep in a great rustic bed (after the folks upstairs settle down for the evening).

#3 isn't the best cabin
Cabin 3 is dark, and noisy. As it is on the bottom floor, you hear all the folks above you and those going up the stairs that run outside one wall. You can't open the bedroom window for fresh air since there is a barking dog in the next yard over and there is a porch light right outside of your window which glares into the room.
And finally, the airconditioner is one of those standing, in the room ones, and is VERY noisy, but you have to have it on all night or you roast.
Consequently, I did not get much sleep the 3 nights I was there.

Cozy and comfortable
A wonderful base for exploring the lovely town and area -- and even the sofa bed was remarkably comfortable. Thanks so much!

Beautiful room, beautiful property, and beautiful surrounding area
Great amenities and comfortable stay. Completely set up for extended getaway or short weekend trip. Close to everything in Joseph, great location. So much to do in the area and the view of the mountains is fantastic. Enjoyed the mornings and evenings in the various seating areas around the property with soothing creek background noise. Only suggestion would be take an upstairs room if available due to noise from upstairs neighbors walking around was a bit loud.

Beautiful perfect size, comfortable
The condo is in downtown Joseph within walking distance to restaurants, museums, shops. The grounds give you the feeling you are in the country with a running creek, trees and wildlife right outside your bedroom.

Great place to stay
Really nice, clean and well put together place. Loved the large bathroom with counter space- such a rarity. Location is great too right next to a good coffee place and everything the center of town has to offer.

Very nice, clean, convenient and peaceful.
We really loved our stay in #3 at the Mt Joseph Lodge. The town of Joseph is a gem and this time of year it was beautiful. We found everything very nice at the lodge, but for me the bed was not comfortable, my wife slept well, or I would have given it a 5 star rating. Otherwise, we both thought it was great!

Relaxing and great location
We really enjoyed our mini weekend here! Loved the decor of slate floors, pine cabinets, Granite counter tops. We BBQ a few times on the Weber BBQ and sat out side on the patio furniture. Also the wrap around deck was nice to sit out on. Lots of choices to enjoy the outside here. Enjoyed the small river running behind and opening the window at night to hear the water. I loved sitting in the Wooden Round Gazebo. The bed was a memory foam I think, A little to soft for me personally but I like really firm beds. Linens were very nice , fluffy towels in the wonderful walk in shower.
Very clean a and well maintained property. We had loads of privacy as we were lucky to find this place and it had just opened. I would like to keep it as our own little hideaway! Very easy to locate and lots of parking.
Easy to walk to the market, restuarants, shops in the downtown area. The Visitor center is across the street to find out what all there is to do in the Joseph , Wallowa Lake area.
