About this house rental
It is an easy stroll through unique neighborhoods to Main Street where you can enjoy a day of shopping, an evening dining and visiting the live music venues, or grabbing a treat at Clear River!
This home offers unique opportunity to stay close to everything. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1930s home has been updated. It features longleaf pine floors and a full kitchen.
Honey's Haus is over ~1450 square feet and consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on the main floor with a third bedroom and full bath in half story area. The home has a living room and full kitchen. The downstairs has a king bedroom with an antique clawfoot tub/shower combination. Please note to access the second downstair bedroom you have to walk thru the king bedroom or from the exterior porch.
We completed the half story area at the end of May 2019. Here are a few disclaimers about this new space.
1. It is up stairs that are steeper than normal since the stairs are original to the house and constructed in the 1930s.
2. It is a half story so the ceiling is low on the sides and you have to watch out so as not bump your head along the perimeter of the rooms.
3. You have to walk through the downstairs full bedroom to access the third bedroom/second bathroom upstairs.
4. When including this half story space, there two king beds and 1 full bed available in the entire home.
Quick Summary:
- Small full kitchen
- Outdoor gas firepit
- 3 bedrooms:
- King downstairs
- Full downstairs
- King upstairs
- 2 full bathrooms:
- Clawfoot tub with shower downstairs
- Jetted bathtub with handheld shower upstairs
- Steep stairs with low ceilings in half story area

For our first foray to Fredericksburg, this property was absolutely PERFECT for exploring this town. It’s a block away from the Pacific War Museum, and three blocks from Main Street. This is a really cute house, and we had plenty of room for our party of five. Two downstairs bedrooms with a shared bath, and an upstairs bedroom and bath. We spent evenings relaxing and watching a movie on the large UHD television. Beds were all very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped for any cooking needs. This property is highly recommended both for comfort as well as for its proximity to Main Street. Thanks for hosting us!

This house was so cute and exactly as described on the website! It was the perfect location for walking to the restaurants and shops. The backyard was perfect for sitting around the firepit after a long day of visiting wineries. This was a great trip for us siblings to reconnect!

Property Manager worked well with me on a short notice (less than 36 hours) rental request. House is great, clean and as listed. Traffic on street was heavy but it was spring break.

Our family had an amazing stay at Honey Haus! Beautiful home and just a short walk to main street. Some road noise as the home is right at an intersection, but not enough to actually be bothersome. Definitely look forward to staying here again!

Fit our needs
Clean. Comfortable. Easy walking to the main part of town. Porch was very cool and pleasant to sit on despite the heat.
We played some of the games provided which was fun. Kitchen had everything we needed. We were a little confused on whether we needed to take out the trash, but we took it out. The upstairs bathroom is beautiful. The downstairs bathroom is quaint but not suitable for anybody with a mobility issue. We would stay there again. Over-all, it had everything we needed at a price we could afford.

Quiet and Quaint
We loved staying here. My daughter and I were able to walk to Main Street each morning. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. And the host was very helpful throughout the stay. We’re already looking at dates to return.

Pictures don’t do it justice
Cutest house and great location. We were worried about driving and we were able to walk anywhere on main. The house is so much cuter in person and went over our expectations. We had a girls group and we loved that the rooms were close together so that we were able to stay up and talk. Thank you for the stay!

Loved it
We had a great time! We laughed the entire weekend and relaxed. My favorite part of the house, was the sitting area in the backyard! I don’t know if there’s anything that you can do about the water pressure in the shower, because of the age of the home, but that was the only thing that we did not like. But the house was gorgeous and amazing!

Honey Haus
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honey Haus. The location is great. We could walk to all of our favorite places on Main. The house is nice and the firepit is a nice place to gather after a long day. Plenty of parking for 3 or 4 cars.

Perfect location for a Fredericksburg getaway!
This was an overnight trip for five long-time friends.
Honey Haus is nicely located just a few blocks from downtown Fredericksburg, the back side of the National Museum of the Pacific War, in particular, and shops and restaurants in general. There are two bedrooms on the main floor (one king, one queen bed) and one bath, with an additional bedroom (king bed) and bath upstairs. It is necessary to walk through the downstairs bedrooms to gain access to the upstairs bedroom and bath. Our group agreed that the beds were incredibly comfortable, some of the most comfortable any of us have experienced! We didn't use the screened in porch or the outdoor patio area, but both looked very inviting. A basket of games in the living room tempted our particiption, but we opted instead for evening conversation in the comfortable living room and dining room. The kitchen was nicely appointed, including a Keurig. The tea-drinkers in my group were disappointed there weren't tea bags in the cupboard, but they enjoyed the coffee. Kerrine was very responsive to questions and our group agreed that Honey Haus was the perfect house for our getaway.

Cute Fredricksberg House
We were pleased to find the house as lovely as the pictures! Owners sent all info on how to access everything. Very clean and overall couldn’t have been a better stay! 💜

Great location...nice common areas
Great location to downtown - it is a cute renovated house - the common areas are nice. There is not a lot of privacy in the bedrooms as noted in the description. We were upstairs and knowing the ceilings were low, we still hit our heads - they are really low accessing the bathroom.

Honey Haus was just right!
We sure enjoyed Honey Haus for our girls weekend in Fredericksburg….comfy couches & big screen TV was great for our Saturday night basketball game watching. Close enough to Main Street for that shopping & wine tasting. Loved our time there!

Great location and super clean
Really enjoyed our stay at the house. Perfectly located close to all Fredericksburg has to offer and also provides fair amount of privacy. Owner is communicative and helped us when we had a small issue. Highly recommend!

Girlfriend Getaway
We had a wonderful time staying in this home. My only comment is that one evening we did have to wait about 10 minutes for water to heat up, but we never went without hot water so that was ok. My only other recommendation is that it would be nice for the shed to have a light so that vehicles are lit up at night. It was a bit dark walking to/from vehicles when we wanted to leave at night. Other than that, we had a wonderful time! Beds were comfy, house was clean and there was plenty of space. The property is very charming and convenient to main street. We'd definitely stay again!

It was great. Will do this again and use VRBO. Used them in 2012 in Hawaii. That was great also.

Close Couple Friends Birthday
Everything was wonderful. The other 2 couples that we were with stayed in other areas of town, and usually had to meet up with us to start our days, as they did not have the location and proximity to the things we did on Main.
