We really enjoyed our stay. It was what we were looking for, a nice quiet area. The house had everything we needed to prepare our meals except the food. It's unfortunate there isn't a grocery store closer to this community. I imagine the locals think the same thing.
Everything was clean and just as described. Communication with the manager was good. If we are ever in the area again, we will remember this home.

Three generations of our family gathered for a winter holiday. We played games, watched movies and enjoyed good food. Plenty of room for everyone and the house looked as described! Very nice stay!!

Nice place for a large family, coffee pot was leaking and replaced the same day, good people to deal with no complaints at all

We enjoyed the property and our time. It is a great setup for families.

House was very nice and roomy. Beautiful views all around the property.

We stayed here while my daughter finished her dive certificate . Accommodations were just as described.

We have stayed at this location once before a few years ago. We noticed some updates that were made since our previous stay; such as counter tops, and a well stocked kitchen.
We appreciate the place being pet friendly! The check in and out process is very simple.
Easy access to the water.

First of all, the location of this home was incredible! If you just want outdoor space, this is the house for you. However, there were some big issues for us. First of all, you have to go to a separate location to get keys and drop them off. Not a deal breaker, but annoying when we were ready to be in vacation mode. We were informed by the property manager when we picked up the keys that the carpet had been ripped up from the bunk room due to water issues. They had done repairs 4 years ago and “it didn’t hold”. The bunk room has mold and more water came in with the rain, so we were unable to use it or really the downstairs at all due to mold. There is mold under the grout in the showers. Don’t come here if you have mold allergies. In addition , one of the bedrooms downstairs had an incredibly hard bed. Whenever the toilet is flushed you can smell sewer on the back porch (concern for a sewer venting issue or a dead animal). The house has mice. There is a large pile of droppings by the AC unit and the wood is saturated with waste. There are chewed up soap bars in the kitchen cabinets and we heard mice in the cabinets by the fireplace (and there are droppings). The location is beautiful, but multiple family members had to leave due to the mold issue. To top it off, the property manager showed up while we were enjoying the lake. Came down the path clapping and yelling my name. She then let me know our vehicles on the street needed to be moved. Not great, won’t be back.

Everything was amazing.

The property was clean and close to the water. It also has everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay! There wasn’t any cell coverage so the kids were upset but my wife and I absolutely loved disconnecting from the world and enjoying the lake.

The house was as it was explained. The kitchen had plenty of utensils for our cooking needs. The fenced in yard is a bit small but it worked to let our lab move freely. Definitely woolen stay at this house again.

We rented this property because of its proximity to our own lake house. It was perfect for housing our guests and enjoying the open living areas. Recently renovated kitchen was an added bonus!

Property manager was so helpful to getting us settled and property was great for our large group and our dog!

Property was as described. Unlike most places I have stayed the pictures do not do this place justice. The fenced in area to be able to let the dogs out for a bit was great. Kitchen was very well stocked..... Quality toilet paper was also a plus;-).

This place was great! Clean, it was a little hard to get to in the dark because of the curvy roads but we enjoyed our stay and the pool table was a plus with the kids I will definitely consider staying again

Do it!
One of the best VRBO we’ve ever been to.
Super organized, super clean and well designed home. Beautiful area. Great home for family connections and cooking. Washer and dryer were very convenient with managing wet clothing and towels. We swam at Pebble Beach -a beautiful drive ab 35 minutes away. The shoreline of the VRBO was more for fishing than swimming but you can definitely swim there if you don’t mind the squishy parts. Bring your water shoes. Absolutely beautiful area.

The house was perfect for us. Very clean and spacious! Everything we needed was there including dishwasher pods and laundry soap. The roads and driveway are steep, but it’s a lakefront property so it’s hard to avoid steep slopes. All in all it was a fantastic experience!

Good size house, with plenty of room for a family gathering. There are a few small things we were missing or that didn't work, but otherwise we found that the home fit our needs. The lake is very nice, clean and warm but we wished the access would be a little better - it was tricky to have kayaks there. Beds were comfy and appliances all worked. A/C worked well. Host/owner replied to all of our questions and was very helpful with anything we asked for. Love this area & will be back.

Had a Fourth get-away with family. Location easily slept 10, plenty of room. Good location, very nice and responsive management office. Would stay again.

This is an older property that was clean and in a great neighborhood. We stayed here with our kids and grandkids and enjoyed great weather on the porch, just spending time together. The view is limited from the upper deck. My son brought his boat and fished but the lake access at this property is limited as the pictures show. There is a very near boat ramp we found which was a plus ( less than a mile). The kitchen needs some updating. The cooktop has very old electric, solid burners, a little tricky to cook on. The oven cooks “hot”. I had to adjust temperature down when I used it and it triggered the smoke/fire alarm a couple of times when the oven was opened during cooking. We enjoyed using the pool. This house is located on a very steep winding road. Bunk beds are in a tiny room best described as a closet! Decent home, decent price.

This rental has everything! As a nurse, very impressed on the cleanliness and sanitizing done to ensure safety of renters. Quickly responded with 2nd TV issue as had replaced with a new one the very next day. We certainly hope to come back to Garfield area again.

The cabin was clean and had plenty of room. The only complaint I have is that all the mattresses down stairs were very hard and uncomfortable.

Great quiet neighborhood. We brought our dogs and they loved it! Great little fenced in area for them and the streets were perfect for walking. Amazing sunsets and a great space to relax and unwind. Brought our kayaks and launched them right in the backyard. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of stairs, so if you have older dogs just a heads up! Will definitely be back!

*Not really off the grid because the wifi was fantastic! We had so much fun while also finding our zen on the deck. The house was exactly what we expected and needed for a few days away.

Check in was very easy. Beware if you check in after dark as the roads to the house are very winding. The house was clean, beautiful decks looking over the lake and the house had just about anything you could need. We just came to relax so it was perfect for us.
