Except for the issue with the bedroom, I was pleased with the property

Condo was well equipped and very clean. It needs alot of improvements though. Paint is peeling everywhere and bathrooms really need updating.

Pool, tennis, ponds, birds, gators, golf, live oaks and location on the island. The villa need a little touch up, paint, lights, blinds etc. That said the kitchen has all nearly new appliances and is very well equipped. Overall a good place to stay with great beach access with nearby restroom. We had a couple small issues that VACASA took care off quickly.

Check in at 4. Office closed before 5. Manager is useless. He wouldn't qualify as Walmart greeter. Vacada boo boo. Your extra fees are terrible. Vacasa is a joke.

Very clean, close to Coligny and short drive to Shelter Cove. We rented for the weekend of the Hilton Head Marathon because I ran the Half Marathon. My family had plenty of room and kitchen well stocked. My dog loved it too and close walk to beach. We will definitely rent again!

Nice location. Love Evian. Quiet area. Overall house is nice but master bath needs updating, living room furniture is worn. Cleaning was sufficient but missed areas underneath couches. Hallway ceiling vent was filthy. These things wouldn’t keep me from staying again.

Bedding needs to be upgraded , kitchen needs work and the dryer didn’t working very good…but overall a good stay !

This is our 5th stay in Evian, 1st time at 131.
When we pulled up to 131, I thought I was in the wrong place. For the picture on the site showed a nicely groomed path to the door. As seen live, not so much. Well no bother, we aren’t going to be staying outside. I like the coded locking front door. Adjust the glass storm door, it closes too fast. If you have an appendage in its path, it will leave a mark.
The other reviews are true, this place needs to be updated. Yes as with all Evian properties it is extremely convenient, however with the money spent, more amenities need to be updated. The toilet in the master bedroom needs to be repaired, must hold the handle down in order for it to flush. It felt like the toilet in the spare bathroom was miniature. There is no place to fold clean laundry except the top of the washer and the dryer, which was rusty. The sliding doors to the washer and dryer need adjustment so they open and close properly.
Musty odor as soon as we walked into the home, we had to quell with candles and Febreeze spray. Did not want to open the windows for the sills were littered with bugs. Plus only 2 windows could be opened that had screens. Wish there was a screen door leading out to the deck.
This place gets very little sunlight, replace the shaded blinds leading to the deck with regular Venetian blinds to let in some light. Replace the Venetian blinds that are damaged, bent, moldy and rusted. Replace the light lenses in the kitchen so they all match.
It was cleaned, to a point. The peaks in the ceiling had spider webs. The wall paper was peeling in areas. Some areas of the unit need to be repainted, actually repaint the whole thing. As stated before, the window sills need to be blown out and cleaned. When turning down the bed, we noticed that there was still human hair on the bed, and on the pillows, YUCK…Causing a trip to Home Goods for fresh linens. It appeared the linens were not changed. Or if they were, someone slept in them before we arrived.
When replacing the light lenses in the kitchen, remove the dead lizard.
This may seem picky for only staying 7 days, however when spending the equivalent of a monthly mortgage payment for a week, expectations are going to be high.
We have stayed in other areas of Evian spending less money and getting much more. Unfortunately those properties were not available this go around.
With some effort 131 could be a very nice place. Spend the money to get it corrected.

The location of this villa, with the golf course in back, is great for after 7 pm walks. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. A little difficult to initially find but it is nicely within a quiet cul de sac. Plenty of parking. Good sized living room, master bedroom and dining room. Eat-in kitchen is tight for more than 2 people. Nice having an in-unit washer and dryer.

Our 2BR 2BA villa fit our family of 4 plus pup just fine. Main bed and bath are large, comfy, and the shower pressure is unreal. Like a massage shower. Teenagers beds were small but fine for the week. Kitchen, living area and deck are large and open. Plenty of seating and kitchen equipment too. Eclectic mix of kitchen stuff. Bring your own paper products, soaps, shampoos, etc, since you only have a starter supply for four people. Nice location and very bikeable to the beach, resort, and plenty of restaurants, putt putt, and shopping! Love biking the beach, the resort, and surrounding trails. Very safe and shady on most trails!

The area we stayed was beautiful! All of the people we encountered here were friendly. The pool was beautiful and we even saw a few gators while at the pool! It was conveniently located close to the beach, a 2 min drive at most, and easy to get in and out. Highly recommend.

Did not realize or informed it was a second story condo which made it a pain. It was ok clean but ran down and in need of a good painting esp the woodwork. Furniture was comfortable. Would have liked an easier access to the beach. This condo was too far.

It was all just fine...
This unit is fine for a family vacation to the trip, good location not far from the shared pool, and a 10 minute bike ride to the beach. The unit has not been updated much, so the bathrooms are just OK, and also in need of some general maintenance and upkeep, like painting. We've stayed in nicer units for similar price so I would select those over this one again.

Perfect for our family getaway!
The club/complex was great with a pool and tennis courts and beach access so close you could walk, or drive it you prefer. The townhouse was so spacious compared to other places we’ve stayed. We were only a party of 3 but it was big enough to have more than 6! The building was nice a quiet and all the amenities made it perfect to cook and do laundry like we’d normally do.

Happiness in Hilton Head
The property was exactly what we were looking for in regards to a relaxing, peaceful vacation. It was well located by bike or walk to the beach and other fun areas on the island. We enjoyed the amenities of tennis courts, pool and on-site restaurant as well. Renters would benefit from a screenshot and arrows of how to find the place once inside the Evian Villas as others had mentioned, it is initially hard to find but otherwise we were so happy with it we extended by a day! Thank you for letting us stay!

Getaway with the puppies
Had a great time here. Property was very nice, it is a 2nd floor unit, it isn't super obvious from the pics just as an FYI. We did have a hard time finding it in the dark the 1st night, GPS took us the wrong way. Once we figured it out it was easy to find from there on out. Great location. Highly recommend

August 2020
The property was very clean. I rated it a 4 rather than a 5 because there was a bag of trash left on the back porch. The check in process was easy, but I thought it was pointless to go to the vacasa office since the only thing I got there was a discount paper, and everything else was waiting for me at Shipyard, but the two places were very close to each other. So, it wasn't too bad. The listing said the beach was a short walk, but it wasn't. It was a short bike ride though, and it came with a beach parking pass. So, it worked out because my handicapped dad did not have to walk very far. Overall, the place was very nice. We enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

High Hopes but Disappointed
The units in Evian are in a great location, very private and the grounds are extremely well kept. The beach access is only a short distance away. Shipyard has a lot to offer with golf, tennis and biking. The unit however was disappointing for the money. It is a good size unit and well furnished, however there were many indications that this unit is not well maintained. The unit smelled musty, air conditioning intakes were very filthy with dust hanging off of the grates, cold water in both bathrooms were only a little more than a trickle, washing machine agitator was broken, there was temporary paper blinds taped on the wall over the French Doors out to the deck and the pest control service was out of date. And lastly when we stripped the bed the mattress pad had numerous stains!

Needs Updating prior to guests staying again- Very bad
We stayed Sept 12th-14th 2020. This condo needs to be severely updated prior to allowing guests to stay again. I tried to do something nice for my Fiance for becoming an NP and when we arrived for our Stay the owners that live in the downstairs unit informed us we should not use the guest bathroom as it floods them when used(so we were down one bathroom to start) and then the next morning we wake up to a knock on the door telling us that we would not be able to use the water in the condo from 11am-2pm that day because one of the condo pipes had broke. Keep in mind we were only staying a total of 3 days. To say the least everywhere you look something is rusty or broken in the condo. Also we informed maintenance and Vacasa hoping to get some sort of compensation for our troubles becuase the trip was a complete bust for my family and was told they would certianly do soemthing with ultimately NO ACTION

Issues from start
Well the lock code on the door didn't work, and finally getting someone to go an reset it at 11pm so we could get in, the air conditioning decided it didnt want to work. They finally got some out 10pm on Saturday, but the damage to the weekend get away was already ruined. The worse experience I've ever had. Love the service and normally have nothing but great experiences using it. Guess I was due for a dud

Great Location
We loved being in the gated Shipyard community. The pool was very close and the beach is an easy walk or bike ride. The parking pass for the beach is a nice perk and we were able to find parking easily everyday. The villa had everything we needed and was very clean.
