About this house rental
Peace of Paradise is a spacious, luxurious oceanfront home that accommodates two families. It has recently undergone renovations and features a large heated pool (heater is optional), two living rooms, multiple decks with great views, and a full bathroom for each of its five bedrooms.
When not enjoying the pool or the beach, you can relax on the expansive second-story balcony overlooking the Atlantic or the first-floor porch. The house was designed with relaxation in mind and includes two spacious living rooms, a variety of bedrooms, and plenty of space for everyone to gather together or do their own thing.
The interior is beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating, TVs, and board games in each living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-furnished, and the master suite even has a Jacuzzi with a one-way mirror for ocean views.
The dining area can accommodate up to 6 people, with additional breakfast bar and outdoor dining area seating. The open, fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and ample storage space.
Additionally, the house features a second Jacuzzi, two powder rooms, a washer and dryer, and a deck with a sitting room at the front of the house for enjoying sunrises and sunsets.
Please note that the pool may be heated for an additional $300/week or less to a maximum of 88 degrees. Pool heat must be added to your reservation at least 48 hours before arrival. Remember that the pool is not heated from Memorial Day to mid-September.

The place was really nice except there was definintely a bug issue throughout the house. I did call them to let them know that we were getting ready to check out and let them know about the bug issue. They stated next time to call them immediately and the would send someone out to spray the house. I do know that they were sending someone over that day to spray the house.

Designed to be a family Christmas with people coming together from several locations. Despite the cold spell the house offered great beach access and ocean views. House was spacious offering plenty of room for people to relax and spend time together. Appreciated the cable access in different rooms (and levels), and for food planning with many people very much appreciated the 2nd refrigerator.
Great location to St Augustine and easy enough drive up to Ponte Vedra. Desired location we may return with other families in tre future for beach vacation.

This was the first time that my husband and I, our kids and grandkids shared our vacation together! It was a huge hit! My grandkids want us to "buy the property" because it was "hands down", their favorite Florida vacation ever! We stayed two weeks, and we never ran out of things to do! My kids were amazed at the privacy of our pool and beach areas! We ALL appreciated the beach chairs, boogie surf boards, pool floats and beach towels! So much more was provided than we expected! We were also able to view a rocket launch (from Kennedy Space Center) from our personal walkway one evening! Between that, the sea turtles, the fort in St. Augustine, the tide, the sea "critters" that washed ashore...the kids learned so much!

Wonderful family week
Everything was even better then expected. It was wonderful having our own pool right outside our door and the almost private beach just a short walk down our own boardwalk. It was the first time since thanksgiving of 2019 that the 13 of us have been together. Everything was great, the rooms, bathrooms, 5 full, 2 half, were very clean and stocked. The view from the upstairs deck was spectacular. Thank you for everything.

Four couples (siblings & spouses), enjoyed the space. Though all of the rooms were nice, There was some of flipping coins, to see who got the best bathrooms. The location and pool are wonderful. We enjoyed watching our friendly tortoise, every day, as we strolled the boardwalk to the beach!

Rented this house with my family and had a wonderful time there. The pool was great and the access to the beach was so convenient. Beautiful view of the ocean from the top floor from inside and outside! Nice quiet neighborhood and great neighbors. Could use some small fixes here and there, but overall a great place to rent!

The property is exactly as advertised. Immaculately clean and incredibly spacious. The pictures don't do it justice. Property manager was great to work with. Exceptional, fast communication and the property instructions provided by them were very detailed. Would absolutely book this home again.

Not Worth It
First for the pros - its a nice location and the house has direct access to the beach. The pool is also nice and heated. For the Cons - The house looks good in the pictures but is outdated and needs to be updated. Also, there are rules to the house that are not provided before you book. For instance, they require you to keep the temperature of the house at 72 and say how if its lower the ac unit may freeze. I have booked rooms in Florida, and many other places in the US and never have I seen this rule. Second, they charge a cleaning fee, however, the house is not in a clean condition once you get there, for instance, we found cockroaches in one room. And they require you to do a load in the dishwasher and laundry of the towels. I was also disappointed in that they charge a fee for the use of the heater for the pool. They charged to heat the pool to a temperature of 88. Again, i've stayed in many VRBOs and ABNBs and recently one in Miami and they did not charge for the heated pool. Honestly, there are better new houses, cleaner, and more accommodating then my experience with this house. Just request all the rules upfront before you book. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Multi-generation Family Vacation
Lots of room for a big group (10) that spanned 4 generations. Nice and clean, with good quality beds/pillows and plenty of extra towels. The swimming pool and private beach walkover were a hit. Ample parking for up to 6 cars. The kitchen was better equipped than other properties I have stayed at. Loved watching the sunrise over the ocean from the second floor. Terrific location and a great place to relax.

Perfect Location
The location of this home is ideal and the views are spectacular. The furniture and bedding is, however, tired. The ants around the beautiful pool were problematic. The property could use a refresh, including repainting the interior. Having said all this, we would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!
Three couples stayed for a long weekend and we had a wonderful time. The house is very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The view from the second floor is spectacular! The weather was not ideal, but being from Florida, we didn't mind just hanging out on the balcony watching the rough seas, feeling the wind, and enjoying each other's company.

We booked this house last minute due to the pandemic. Overall, the house was good. The kitchen lacked adequate cookware to accommodate cooking meals for a large group, and the appliances could also use updating. The setup of the house was a little odd...no access off back deck to pool or one on the front of the house to garbage cans. The pool was great, except when it rained (which it stormed every day we were there) it got flooded with rain water which brought debris into the pool. Bring bug spray... we all got lots of bug bites! The beach was fantastic! A little pricey for the quality of the house but it was a last minute decision.

November with college kids and teens
We were visiting from Orlando to celebrate our daughter's 20th birthday. We had a party of 6 with some college kids and teenagers. The property was spotless and just what we were looking for with room to spread out. Even after viewing it on line the actual house was even better. The number of beds and bathrooms, kitchen was well stocked, the view was amazing,plenty of towels, quick access to town. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider coming back again.

Paradise Found
We have been coming to St Augustine every summer for years, and have voted this our best trip yet! Large spacious house that had everything you could want, we loved the pool, walkover to the beach, and the beautiful beach itself. Cindy was super accommodating, we had a couple issues our first day and she was on top of it. Susie the pool lady was friendly and knowledgeable, and she took care of our issues right away. Only reason for the 4 star cleanliness rating was the pool deck and patio area could have used a good sweeping and hosing, which we did ourselves-I know, right? It’s OUTSIDE! Loved the house and area and would definitely stay here again.

Super beach house with large pool and plenty of room for 10+ people with 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of up-front parking room for guests and friends. Only 2 minor points: slow internet (3 mbps) and dining room which only seats 6. Other 4-person kitchen seating around sink island. Biggest negative was outrageous $500 VRBO fee tacked onto house rental.

Excellent beach house
We’ve been staying in st Augustine for over 15 years and this is by far the best property we’ve had! Nice large pool, plenty of room, stocked full of amenities and my handicapped grandparent could easily enjoy her week with walk in showers and beds on first floor. We even had a partial power outage (something to do with the meter) it was quickly and Efficiently repaired! Great stay!

Location on beach terrific. Beach very wide and private. Excellent for young children to walk out very far in shallow water. House spacious - acceptable beach house furniture. Internet mostly non existent. We waited several hours for

We had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and dry food staples. There are tons of towels and a blow dryer (not listed). There were tons of beach items, though some of the chairs were in disrepair. The pool in later March was very cold (not heated), but the kids still enjoyed it a bit. Beds are comfy. Location perfect. Internet service was annoying but restarting the modem seemed to help. Mgmt co was responsive, professional and polite. The only things missing are a hot tub and a fire pit. Otherwise, lovely home!!

Can't beat the location
I rented this space for a work retreat. Everything was wonderful and our team was very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was a little too chilly to use the pool, but we took advantage of the amazing beach access. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the supplies we needed. The only downside for us was that the wifi was VERY slow. We did a speed test and were getting around 1 Mbps for download, and 0.25 Mbps for upload. We had to use multiple phones as hotspots for our team of 7 to productively work. Other than that, it was great, and we'd love to stay here again, especially if the wifi speed is improved!

Nice beachfront home in theory.
We were disappointed in the condition of the house. Some of the back doors are rusted and are unable to open and close without a bunch of finesse. We tried to take a bath in the jacuzzi and when we turned the jets on dark water and debris spewed into the bath so we gave up. Also the back patio is infested with ants. They do have a landscaper but he’s there on Tuesday mornings so forget about using the pool during that time. Also the property manager was not friendly or accommodating to our concerns and when we asked about early check-in/late check-out he repeatedly threatened us with “the cleaners have the right to leave if you show up early. DO NOT SHOW UP EARLY”. The property manager also told us that we had to rent beach chairs and towels because “the owner is not obligated to provide them”. We borrowed them from a friend along the way and when we got there the house was fully stocked with all beach amenities so we were frustrated that we had to stop (thankfully we didn’t pay money to rent). For how expensive this property is, I expect more. Just bad customer service. Otherwise the property has a lot of potential and the beach is nice.
