Booked for my daughter and bridal party. There was a blood stained bed sheet and possibly đź’© (?) stain on towels. For this 1 star for cleanliness. Property location beautiful. The guests enjoyed viewing deer. When we pay the cleaning fee-it should apply

We had everything we needed for a cozy vacation at the farmhouse. We had chickens, a kitty, deer and walking trails right outside the door. Our wonderful hosts supplied us with fresh eggs each morning.
The house and surrounding property has an interesting and well documented history.
It was charming and peaceful stay.

This site is now first choice for our quarterly visits to the area. Outstanding hosts who work hard to make sure we are comfortable and enjoy our stay. Exceptionally clean and tidy house. Best stocked unit we have ever stayed in. There was no problem or downside for us during our visit.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this wonderful property. The owner was so accommodating and communicative. Everything about our stay was really the best. The house is amazing! Truly incredible down to the last detail. The neighborhood was very quiet and the surrounding area was just beautiful.

We loved everything about this beautifully restored cottage—the attention to detail and the anticipation of anything a guest could possibly need or want was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back sometime when visiting our son and new bride!

Property is in a country setting with a city proximity. The house was well kept, clean, homey, and well supplied with linens as well as with a few extras if needed. Hosts were very nice, friendly and very knowledgeable regarding property and area. Hope to stay again if opportunity permits. Thank you for sharing this home reminiscent of our own with us!

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving week at Twin Oaks in Wilsonville, OR. The house was very charming with lots of attention to details in the house. Charlotte and Susan the owners had actually had the house moved from another site to this one overlooking a city park in a lovely neighborhood. They did a terrific job fixing it up. There are 3 bedrooms with a large bedroom on the second floor with a living area and a kitchenette. We had our son and his wife stay there for one night.
Charlotte and Susan were terrific hosts and very helpful. You can’t go wrong renting Twin Oaks. It is one of our favorite VRBOs we have rented.

Wonderful property with unique history, hosted by lovely folks invested in their guests' experience. The house has tons of character with enough modern amenities to make the stay smooth and effortless. Lovely touches and conveniences. Geared for families, with games, books, outdoor gear - the works. Low-key check-in and check-out. Located just up the hill from a park and next to a forest preserve in a quiet neighborhood. This was just what we needed.

This property was perfect for all our needs. The craftsmanship of this house makes you feel at home. And as a bonus was the park and walking trail right behind it. We met so many nice people who take care of this neighborhood park. They even have greeter chickens and cats; Kyle, Dash, and Emmett!. I can not wait to come back.

Quiet, clean, gorgeous home is well organized, and great location! Owner is very nice and informative, even provided eggs from her chickens. We cook at least half our meals and found kitchen to be well stocked, even plenty of dish towels. Functional floor plan for 2 families. Beautiful deck with lots of seating overlooks small playground and large nature park with many trails. Have stayed at many VRBOs over 20 years and this is in our top 3!

Best VRBO experience ever. Charlotte and Susan have perfected the short term stay accommodations on all levels. Home design, traditional comforts, modern conveniences, and hosts that are second to none. With our grandkids now living in Portland, we will plan all future visits around availability of this Wilsonville home.

Despite reading the reviews and looking at photos, I really didn’t expect the house to be so incredibly charming or perfect. During our 12-day stay, I often ate and read outdoors. Seeing deer was enchanting. The surrounding neighborhood is very pretty, the house is super comfortable and very well-equipped, and Charlotte and Susan are fantastic. They responded quickly to messages although they anticipate what a visitor might ask and provide the information upon check in. Grocery shopping is walkable and various attractions are within 30 minutes yet the house feels secluded and is in a very quiet neighborhood. I want to return.
(My father is elderly and never attempted the steep stairs to the second floor suite but that’s not a problem because everything he could want was downstairs.)
As I said before, I want to return.

We had a wonderful time! Twin Oaks was spotless and everything we needed to feel right at home was provided. There was a lovely trail right behind the house that looped into the 250 acre nature preserve. We were able to sit out on the deck and have a picnic with our relatives, grill and relax.

Communication and coordination was easy and professional. The cottage was thoughtfully set up and we couldn't have asked for it to be any cleaner!
We were in the Portland area for a graduation with family members of differing activity choices. There were comfortable places to sit inside and outside plus beautiful easily accessible walking paths all around the cottage. Thoroughly enjoyable by everyone

This property was perfect for our family. The house is charming and cozy. Grandparents used the apartment upstairs and our son and family downstairs. The owners could not be more accommodating. Very easy departure instructions. Playground in the backyard and wonderful trail access!

This property was a surprise. A historical house that has been restored. It backs up to a park and miles of bike trails.
The house had everything you would need for your stay. Close to town and lots of restaurants.

We have stayed in quite a few VRBO s over the last few years. This was the most comfortable, welcoming of any of them.

Beautiful home, nicely outfitted. The king beds upstairs and down as well as the 2 twins were all comfortable and had plenty of covers for warmth. The property backs up to nice walking trails and a park for children. Easy to find location with easy parking. Additional Kitchenette upstairs was a bonus as well. Perfect place to recharge after all the festivities. Thank you!

My cousin and I travelled with her mom and my dad to visit family in the area. It was so nice to have this comfortable well equipped home to relax at between visits. Everything was wonderful!

As a family we absolutely loved staying at this cottage/farmhouse. After the first day we wanted to come back and use it as the family get togethers. It was so nice and cozy but also gave us enough space to have a break from each other. Charlotte was great and we hope to come back and stay in the future. We loved the little pond in the back. Hopefully a summer stay will let us utilize the bbq and back porch. Thank you for letting us stay and have a much needed family get together!

Charlotte was so easy to work with. She anticipated our needs and helped with providing extra items that made our stay perfect.

We enjoyed our stay in this little cottage, and the location was a great spot (near family!). Lots of small amenities added a great touch, including extra blankets, umbrellas (welcome to Oregon), and even a festive holiday New Year table set up. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable. Our stay was during the winter, so we didn't get to use the outdoor spaces as much as you could in the summer. The patio looked great, and overlooking a small park. Very easy check-in and check-out process, and great list of local things to do.
We would absolutely stay in this spot again!

This property is absolutely amazing. Communication with Charlotte was great. The house itself was like being at home. Beds were comfy, extra blankets and towels were plentiful. TV, Wi-Fi were great as well as workspaces if needed. Charging devices was easy with multiple places to do so throughout the house.
Outdoor spaces were well thought out and plentiful. Walking to open space trails and a children’s park right out the door.
Wilsonville is a perfect location especially if you want to spend time in Portland but don’t want to deal with all the congestion and difficult parking. Drive time to the airport is approximately 35 minutes depending on traffic. Travel to Portland is 20-30 minutes depending on your final destination. As I said, coming home to this beautiful house will allow you to relax and enjoy everything it has to offer!

This house is Home Away Home. It was clean, it had everything you need to stay for a long time. We had 3 dogs and 3 month baby. it was a very great time for all of us to be in this house - everyone had enough space. Lots of games, family friendly videos, books and information what to do and what to see. We did feel like we are home, just different view from window. We would like to come back again and have this house as our Portland trips home. Big park right behind the back yard with place for kids, trails. We will definitely book it again next time we come to Portland (hopefully it will be available). We do stronly recommend it for your family trip.
