About this house rental

This remodeled and comfortable 2 story cottage that was originally built in 1910, is not only a perfect getaway, but also in an ideal central location. Hardwood floors, a private back porch, and a relaxing balcony off the master bedroom are just some of the many features.

This house has beds for 4 people, but can accommodate an extra. The upstairs bedroom has a king sized bed, while the downstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a double futon in the living room..as well as 2 single folding sleeping mats in the closet if needed..There are 2 bathrooms..one upstairs and one downstairs. House is 1250 sq ft.

McDonald Theater, Autzen Stadium, Fifth Street Market, the Hult Center, the Library, Saturday Market, the University of Oregon campus and Hayward Field are all only a few minutes away....House is approx 2.3 miles from the University Campus.

Easy walking distance to various restaurants, Frontier Market, Sweet Life Coffee & Pastry Shop, Fisherman's Market, Monroe Park and much more.

Enjoyed our short stay here. All we needed in a quiet location. Could use a couple of shower caddies in the bathrooms. Otherwise A+!

The house was nice and clean. Plenty of space. Had all the pans we needed for making several meals. Close to a lot of things, although maybe not walking distance. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in a great location & we were close to everything we needed. Only negative is the house is very bright & airy - which is a lovely feature, except when you need to crash early for an early morning track meet & it is still light outside. ☺️

Was clean, living room couches could be more comfortable. Took a while to warm up the house. Diff electric heaters in every room. Great little place, but for all the little things that you have to do before you leave the cleaning fees added on should be less. Otherwise it was great! :)

The house was a perfect size space for us and so comfortable that my daughter and her boyfriend stayed in all day one day and just hung out while I visited friends. I would absolutely book again when going to Eugene. The master suite was like a place all on its own where I couldn’t hear any of the noise downstairs and the bed was insanely comfortable and the balcony was wonderful to go sit on whether it was morning or night. Kalona was helpful and responsive.

This was a nice home base for a trip to see my daughter. Tall people will love the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. There is not much of a yard although there is a small private back deck.

The cottage was nicer than the pictures reflected. There are multiple entrances and we found one unlocked a day later. I recommend checking all doors when you check in - the neighborhood isn't great. Also, be prepared for multiple threats in the check-in materials about how to leave the property. You will pay a cleaning fee but will be expected to take all garbage out to the cans, start the laundry, and several other items. Failure to do these things will result in an hourly rate of $45 charged back to you. I felt that if I had to leave the place clean, I don't know why I was charged such a large cleaning fee. Also, the tone of the instructions left a negative feeling about my stay.

This “cottage” was excellent. The house was very clean and the house quite comfortable. We had an problem figuring the heat but one text fixed that. The beds were perfect for our party of three and one of the most comfortable beds we ever stayed in at a rental. We look forward to staying here again.

What a fantastic property! It's in a great location, which makes it easy to get around – we took Uber and there was always an available car within 5-7 minutes of the house. We walked to the grocery store and although we couldn’t get to any of the neighborhood restaurants for lunch or dinner, we did go to Sweet Life Patisserie, an amazing bakery just a couple blocks away, and had a fantastic breakfast one morning. The backyard is awesome, with the right amount of shade and privacy – we found ourselves sitting out there every day for coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon/evening. It was incredibly refreshing. We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

The master bed was like sleeping in a cloud! The cottage is charming and had everything I needed. It had a lovely garden and the entire neighborhood was full of flowers. It’s very close to downtown, the Rose garden and lots of food and activities.

The rental is a cute, little, vintage cottage. The rose bushes out front are actually in the yard next door, but they are beautiful and smell great. The house is comfortable and in a quiet part of town. The neighborhood is great for walking to get some exercise, look at all the beautiful old homes, and enjoy the gardens, which, at this time of year, are very colorful. There are lots of rhododendrons blooming.

The upstairs main suite was perfect, and that bed is oh-so comfortable!! The fair conditioning units kept the entire house a nice, cool temperature, even during a heat wave. And the location of the house was great. Bring your bikes and you can cycle anywhere from there!!

This was our first time in Eugene, and this location was a really great one to access several places in town! Delicious restaurants are right around the corner and it was easy to get to the main areas in town and to South Eugene. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the property manager was very responsive in getting to us to let us back in. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating our second anniversary here. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom, a kitchen equipped with the basics, perfect for a couple but with enough space to cook for a small group if needed. The house was close enough to everything we wanted to go to in the area that walking was feasible for some and the drive for the rest was still short. Just far enough off the main roads to avoid noisy traffic, but was still super easy to find when we first arrived. Hot water supply was a little limited, but good enough for two people. The lighting in the bathrooms doesn't quite illuminate the showers well, and the master bathroom has a funny half tub and a shower stall instead of a full tub/shower, but everything was clean and well supplied. Overall great place to stay, my partner and I agreed this would be on our short list for future visits to the area.
