Notbing but good things to say. Very comfortable and nicely appointed. Great neighborhood with many restaurants and watering holes within steps of the unit. O’leary’s was our favorite! 10 minutes to Whiskey Row and 50 minutes to Bardstown.

Excellent walkable area with multiple choices of food options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks.

This was our first visit to Louisville and it did not disappoint. The townhouse was super cute and exactly as advertised. A comfortable, up-to-date living, dining and kitchen space, and two large bedrooms with great beds and on-suite baths made time in the townhouse worthwhile. But the location is what really makes the difference. Baxter Ave/Bardstown Road is a vibrant community full of restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops, all within walking distance. And it's a great property to satellite from; 10 minutes to downtown Louisville and 55 minutes to the heart of the Bourbon Trail meccas (Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace). If you like to walk, hike, play tennis or golf, you can find whatever you are looking for within a 10-15 minute drive from the property. And the property manager, Dierdre, was on top of it. 10/10!

Everything as advertised and a great spot to break up the trip between downtown and our tours at distilleries. Would stay there again for sure.

It was a getaway weekend with friends to experience the bourbon trail. Easy check in, great directions to locate the parking and check-in. Property was exactly as described- smelled brand new- had all the necessities. Perfect location, lots of great restaurants near by.
The only downfall was the motorbikes from about 9pm-2am that were constantly racing their engine or cars bumping their music. Appreciated the white noise machine provided! Would choose this property again, everything inside was perfect!

We came into town for the PGA tournament but wanted to stay away from the hotels. This townhome was the best. Very clean, great location, secure and even better than advertised. We were able to easily Uber anywhere we needed too but could also walk to many bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

We were greeted with a beautiful Derby arrangement of Lilies and Roses and Derby memorabilia. The townhouse was beautiful and well appointed. Arriving was confusing and parking in the gated area difficult. The neighborhood was loud and obnoxious with a bar and loud roaring motorcycles across the street audible most of the night. Police cars blocked the street in front of us so our only entry on Derby night was through the alley- kinda scary. Overall I hated the neighborhood which was sad to me because I lived close by on Cherokee 40 years ago and was surprised how much Baxter has deteriorated! Unfortunately I would never stay there again, but I do appreciate the efforts of the owner in welcoming us for our Derby celebrations.

This is perfect for 2 couples! Plenty of walkability and the neighborhood was not as loud as I thought it would be. This country girl still slept just fine. *if you drive a larger SUV parking in the carport is tight. Doable but definitely snug.

This property is just as pictured in the listing. It's clean and well stocked. It is great that it has 2 king beds with 2 private bathrooms so our two couples were very comfortable. Grateful for the little comforts provided that make this listing 5 stars: coffee/creamer/sugar, paper towels and sponge, 2-ply TP and extra rolls in the bathrooms, soft soap dispensers in all bathrooms and the kitchen, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, nice quality towels and sheets, well stocked kitchen, off street parking.
We were there during the week (and it was raining) so didn't notice any street noise from local restaurants. I travel with a white noise machine anyhow so didn't need the ones provided. The local scene looks like fun, it was nice to be able to walk to dinner each night.
Easy check-in and check-out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. One of the best VRBOs I've been in.

This location was perfect for our group of five adults for a long weekend. The owner was responsive to our needs. Walkable to good restaurants and bars. The home was well equipped for our stay and the bedrooms were quite large. There is a lovely little shared courtyard area. We would stay again on a return trip.

I’ve stayed in other rentals in the Highlands area of Louisville and was always disappointed. Not with this place. Would definitely book again.

Place and location were great! Accommodations as expected and everything worked that we used. PSA The owner requires a copy of credit card and DL texted or emailed to her with a contract signature saying you allow charges or disputed charges to be fully charged to credit card supplied and that everything is in working condition and acceptable within an hour of arriving. I was not comfortable with any of this and refused and got VRBO involved. This took no less than 20 text messages and a house visit from owner during trip. I reluctantly signed contract with some lines stricken and did not provide credit card. This was not clear in listing or rental agreement to me as the host suggested. I was told by VRBO not to provide this info and did not. I have never been asked this from any host/owner in 10 years of renting from 3rd party owner for rent sites. Place was great…. Rental agreement copy of credit cards and contracts after VRBO paid in full… not to my comfort level.

We had an amazing stay at this condo. Host was easily accessible! The king 4 poster bed was so comfortable, the unit was spotless! Parking was at our door step and also had a private gated parking area. We had 2 Irish restaurants steps from our condo. Excellent coffee shop called Haraz one block down from our condo. Don’t forget to go to Clay City Cemetery and see CFC Coronial Sanders and Muhammad Ali’s grave. Highly recommended this condo and location!

Great property with gated parking. Very spacious and clean, nicely updated. Definitely in the heart of the restaurant/bar scene of Louisville, can get pretty lively at night.

Great pl@ce for two couples or families with couple of kids with expansive bedrooms with modern bathrooms on two floors and half bath on ground floor. Well furnished and clean kitchen and living areas. Responsive property manager. Only thing I can think of is power strips by beds for our many chargers and some drink coasters. Active neighborhood for food and drinks, directions to local markets always helpful

Visited Louisville for the first time for a long weekend and loved the location of the townhouse. Within walking distance to many restaurants and even a cute brewery Hi-Line. The home was extremely clean and had great communication with the owner. Would stay again! So much space for our family of 4! 5 stars all around!

Stayed for a short work assignment in the area. Great place, a great location, and plenty to do in the evenings.

This is a wonderful property. Near pubs, restaurants, and other venues in Louisville. Also, an excellent location to tour the Bourbon Trail which we did. The property manager lives in a nearby building and answered all of our questions through text and email. Her directions for finding and entering the property upon check-in were excellent. The only downside is the noise on Friday and Saturday nights (Saturday in particular) because the property is located in a very popular area - a small price to pay for its convenience to restaurants, pubs, and other points of interest.

My wife and I, along with our 5 kids stayed here 4 nights. The location is as great as advertised. It is quite the party street on the weekend so be ready for some noise outside. Revving engines and thumping bass from cars. It didn't deter us from having a great stay. Well equipped, easy check in and check out.

Nice property, very secure. Noise at night a bit much. Other than that, everything was good. Walking distance to many places. Grocery delivery before arrival was great.

We stayed here for a family reunion. It was a great location close to everything. We highly recommend the Old Louisville Walking Tour and the cemetery nearby. The host was great at staying in touch and checking in and supplying all of the information we needed up front. Would highly recommend this location.

We had a really wonderful stay! We were in town for a festival and it was a wonderful home to come back to at the end of a long day and the host was wonderful!

We came into Louisville for my boyfriends 40th, and this place was perfect. Check-in process was exactly as host stated and was a breeze. We loved that there was parking on site as well. In addition, the place was clean and very well kept. It offered enough space for us 4, and we were glad to see that it was very clean. We used the kitchen one the days and it came equipt with everything needed. There is a lot of noise on Friday and Saturday nights due to the bars across the street however, the host does provide sound machines to help offset the noise.

Very nice, clean and spacious unit. Very good location with a lot of eating and drinking choices within walking distance. Bedrooms are large with very nice bathrooms. Only complaint is the beds have body impressions, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely recommend!

The townhome property was lovely, and beautifully maintained. All the amenities we needed or could have asked for. The property owner was extremely helpful both before and during our visit. Great location, wonderful restaurants within walking distance, centrally located to all of our Louisville activities. Probably my best VRBO experience ever. I strongly recommend this property.

5 star property, better than the pictures. Host was immediately responsive to any question we had. Would stay with this host again, no doubt.

The property was exactly what we wanted. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars. Secure parking and very clean. The property manager was excellent with communication!

Four of us stayed three nights. Free parking for our rental car was great with easy access to the Bourbon trails. Each room had a private bathroom and the entire townhouse was very spacious and clean. We loved having a location where we could walk to bars and restaurants. There was lots of construction and noise but that’s not the fault of the owner. If you want complete country silence this isn’t the place for you but if you want to stay in a location with easy access to restaurants and bars I highly recommend it. Kitchen amenities were also a plus. One other note: if mobility is an issue the top floor is up two flights of stairs but owner is transparent of this fact in her description. We would definitely book this property again.

Two couples drove down from Chicago for bourbon and fun. Great location, fun safe neighborhood. Loved the two masters, great for two couples. We visited distilleries during the day and played cards at night. Loved Taco Luchador but not Mollys. Would definitely stay again.
