These, along with round-island activities and rental cars, can all be scheduled through the concierge. The Club also offers a fully-inclusive daily option that provides meals and drinks, payable directly to the Club on departure.
There is currently a resort charge of US$24.00 per night per villa, this is due to the extra COVID resort cleaning and sanitizing protocols. There is also a government mandated "Tourism Accommodation Levy" (TAL) of US$5.00 per night per person, these are both collected by the St. James’s Club Resort at the end of your stay.
Restaurants, places of interest, things to do and nightlife abound. As part-time residents of the island, we're happy to recommend our favorites!

Fantastic villa in a great spot in the resort. It really is only a 2 min walk to a fantastic beach with a bar at either end. The villa is spacious with comfy beds, great aircon and a lovely terrace with views to pool opposite and out to sea. Peter and Martine personalise the experience and lots of local knowledge.
The St James Club has many charms, great facilities and a very easy going vibe. Just be careful with your all-inclusive plan. If you can find a decent rate it’s worth doing as pay as you go prices are eye watering - like $12 for a capuccino! We found car hire essential after a couple of days to get some variety.

From the first contact with the owners Peter and Martin, till the check out process the communication and attentions to details have been fantastic.
You can tell when the owners of a property care about people and experiences. The house is as described if not better and everything worked perfectly. Peter and Martine take the extra steps to provide guests with tips and courtesy to make your stay memorable.
We enjoyed the stay very much.

This villa was truly beautiful! The owners take very good care of it and were extremely communicative. Lots of space for our family of 5. Peter helped us with any questions right away. The staff at the resort was also very accommodating and the grounds were well kept.

We spent Spring Break at Peter and Martine's beautiful villa and could not be more pleased with the experience. Excellent communication before and during the trip, every question answered promptly and many helpful tips provided. The villa is clean, bright and fresh thanks to the skilled caretakers and obvious attention of the owners. Plenty of room for our family of 5. The Saint James Club has so many great options for activities - plenty to do without leaving the property. There is an all-inclusive option but we elected to cook in the villa, go off property or pay a la carte at the on property options. Our kids played tennis every day, and used the free catamarans, stand up paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkel gear provided by the club. The pool directly across from the villa is the kids pool and super convenient if you have smaller children. Even though it was spring break and at high occupancy, the resort never felt crowded. No problem finding chairs at the two beaches or multiple pools, and no need to go place towels on chairs at 6 AM like some other resorts. Plenty of great off property options: dining in English Harbor (we recommend Pillars and Cloggy's), fishing, boat charter, and ziplining. We did not rent a car but plenty of taxis available. Thank you Peter and Martine for sharing your wonderful villa with us!

Absolutely stunning three bedroom villa. The upper area living spaces were perfect for gathering and the outside decks and spaces were beautiful, shady and boasted great views. This was our second time at St James club and the facilities and beaches were wonderful and offered beaches, tennis and pickle, sailing and more.
The check in and check out process were easy and the team was very helpful in arranging airport transfers, taxis and suggesting excursions off the resort.
Thanks to Peter and Martine for sharing their wonderful villa.

Our family of 4 with 2 older teens (16 and 19) thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Plenty of space for us all to have our own bedroom and ensuite, great sized rooms and plenty of towels. The villa is very well equipped and has a great kitchen so we self catered for breakfast and lunch and mostly went off resort for dinners in local English Harbour.
The villa is in a great location, set amongst the palm trees with easy access to mamora bay beach, the childrens pool, an adults pool and the main hotel pool not too far away. Bars and restaurants are close too, plus the fitness centre and tennis courts.
Peter and Martine provide a lovely home away from home. Communication before and during our stay was superb. Annabelle the local property manager was very helpful and responsive and the housekeepers were excellent.
Would highly recommend this villa as a great family place to stay. A very friendly resort in a beautiful spot on Antigua, and not too far from Shirley Heights for your sunset bbq experience.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our family of 4 recently stayed at Peter and Martine's villa at St James Club. I was thoroughly impressed with the communication both prior to and during the trip. Both Peter and Annabelle were always just a quick call away but there really wasn't any need to reach out.
The villa is conveniently centrally located to all resort amenities. The villa itself is well laid out with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and the kitchen/living/dining upstairs. There is a kids pool just outside the villa which came in handy for quick dips.
Thank you Peter and Martine for making our first trip to Antigua so much fun!

This villa was great for our family of six over the holidays. Very clean inside and out (received housekeeping care every few days). Though we primarily had lunch and dinner out, the kitchen was very well equipped to take on any cooking pursuit. Peter (owner) was the best at staying in touch with us during the months leading up to, and all during, our stay. The St. James Club location on the southern side of the island is near a number of worthwhile sites and activities in addition to what the resort offers.

The villa, grounds, beaches and resort were excellent. We purchased the all-inclusive for dining and enjoyed the food and convenience. All of the staff and recommended taxi drivers were professional and helpful. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa and location.

This was my first trip to Antigua and renting this villa made the whole trip. Communication was exemplary with the owners and the villa was lovely.

My wife, 15-year old son, and I spent an amazing week at Peter and Martine's Villa at Saint James Club. It was even better than advertised. The St James Club and staff were great. The property is beautiful. We rented a cart and enjoyed visiting the many establishments in English Harbor.
The Villa was absolutely amazing. It is immaculately clean. The views from the deck are amazing. We could have spent the entire week just lounging on the deck admiring the view of the water, hills and palm trees. We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and this Villa is tops! Peter and the management staff were helpful with any requests including restaurant suggestions. Titi's car rental was outstanding and service was great. Definitely a 5- star experience.

Lovely Villa exactly as described. The furnishings were beautiful and the villa was well equipped and very comfortable. The layout was perfect for a Family of 4 adults and 2 children. Excellent location being close to the Children’s pool was a big plus, and the beach was a very short walk.Very helpful owners. Would highly recommend this lovely Villa.

With a 5-month old baby this was a perfect location for us as it is near the kiddie pool. The amenities in the Villa had everything we needed and the balcony was well appointed for comfort and lounging. What makes this Villa extra special and separate from other SJC Villas is communication with owners and the absolutely outstanding service provided by their support staff, especially Claudia and Simonetta, who followed up that all was okay and made a lot of local suggestions and reservations for us - freeing up our time to enjoy the Villa and the SJC facilities..
Thank you Peter and Martine ... you are forever on our list for doing it again!

Capt Peter and Martine's Villa is nicely appointed and decorated. Everything you need is there to have a comfortable and relaxed holiday, including a great supporting staff in Dominique and Camilla and great recommendations for dinning and excursions.
We initially sought after a Villa for the access to a kitchen, however we opted for the all inclusive meals at the st james club, which depending on the time of year can not be beat from a value perspective. Good is good not great, staff is extremely helpful and hard working. Taxi's are on the expensive side and shopping for groceries could have been a challenge. Remind yourself that you on vacation and select the all inclusive and splurge on some of the local restaurant. The food and hospitality is fantastic. Capt Peter has it all in the binder and if you can't negotiate that well then Dominque and Camila will take care of it. Book it before you loose it!

Our family of five adults stayed in Peter and Martine’s villa for 12 nights in July this year (2021), the first time we had traveled since Covid. We live in New York, and our son in the UK and when Antigua was added to the UK’s so-called green list of countries, it seemed like a great option for us to reunite.
The villa is spacious, very tastefully and comfortably furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, and we were able to prepare meals and even blend cocktails and enjoy them on the lovely terrace.
The resort itself is very clean and green and we enjoyed the time we spent at the pools and on the beach there. Our two older children used the gym daily, and we enjoyed early morning walks along the beach and around the gardens of the resort. Staff were friendly, and the arrangements for pre-departure Covid testing were convenient and stress free. One of the beaches had a lot of dead seaweed which made it sometimes smelly and unusable but this may have been seasonal and we witnessed the same issue further along the coast at Half Moon Bay which we had understood to be one of the island’s best beaches.
Communication with Peter was straightforward both before and during our stay and our questions were answered immediately, despite our being in different time zones. Contact with the local property holder was also easy and an issue with a replacement battery for the safe was resolved as quickly as weekend hours would alllow.
We rented a car from the Titi rental agency; the daily rate was reasonable and included a return trip to the airport which was very convenient. Unless you opt for the all inclusive package at St James’s, a car is a must as, similar to other properties on Antigua, there are no grocery stores or restaurants within walking distance, and a return trip by taxi to English Harbour is only slightly less than the daily cost of a car.
I would highly recommend both Antigua and Peter and Martine’s villa. We had a lovely holiday, and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Our experience at Peter's villa was everything we could have asked for. The property has everything a family needs for a great vacation plus you have access to the resort and all of its facilities: beaches, pools, gym, tennis, etc. Peter was friendly and helpful throughout our experience. The resort has CoVid testing at the end of the week so you don't have to worry about getting back into your country if that's a requirement. Antigua is beautiful, the weather is exceptional and the locals are friendly. Pretty much everything you could want in a Caribbean vacation.

Peter and Martine have established a wonderful vacation experience for those traveling to Antigua. From the perfect accommodation & prompt attentiveness to surpassing expectations, our experience in Antigua was second to none.

This villa is truly beautiful and spacious, with three large bedrooms and bathrooms and a large open plan room for dining and sitting. It also has plenty of outdoor space to soak up the sun and relax, nestled amongst the palm trees. We were able to spread out and truly relax as a family of four with two teenagers (boy and girl teens got their own rooms - which made the holiday much easier). However, this accommodation would support a larger group and still feel spacious.Peter and Martine were wonderful hosts, in contact prior to our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. They arranged a car to pick us up from the airport and some fresh fruit etc in the fridge, so when we arrived we had no hassles. We were fortunate to meet them both and tell them how wonderful their slice of paradise is! The resort was also fabulous. We took full advantage of the water sports, tennis courts, gym etc. the beaches are beautiful and there wasn’t any choice but to relax and enjoy! We did the all inclusive for most of our stay, tried all the restaurants and would recommend. All of the staff members were uniformly friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a Caribbean vacation then look no further, this is the place!

We stayed in this delightful property for a week in July. The villa itself was incredibly comfortable with beautiful personal touches in all 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The owners have spared no expense in making this a stylishly beautiful and practically comfortabe tropical home - It was kept immaculately clean with twice weekly cleaning included, as was taxi pick up from the airport with the charming Mr Gregory. The resort itself is very well equipped with a state of the art gym, table tennis areas, several pools and 2 very different beach settings - the Atlantic side being a bit more wild and windy and the lagoon side being warm and tranquil. There are a host of water sports included in the rental which kept our teenagers occupied , and there are ample beach loungers and towels available which makes relaxing and sunbathing delightfully easy. Eating and drinking at the resort on an ad hoc basis can be a bit pricey so you may want to think about an all inclusive package if you're planning to stay exclusively on the resort. Details were provided for us on check in and the staff were more than helpful in describing the different options. If you're planning to self cater (which we did) a car is useful to get to English Harbour (10min) drive where there supermarkets and restaurants, nice walking trails and some gorgeous beaches. But there are always plenty of taxis on hand in the resort if you choose not to.
