This property felt nicely remote but was within a 10m drive of any amenities you might want - restaurants, grocery, shops, Lake Coeur d'Alene. The owner was responsive to questions, very accommodating and the check-in was easy.

This is an amazing property. A few friends and I recently met up in CDA for a golf and lake weekend. We had a great time. This property has a beautiful view of the lake. It is secluded but still close to town. We had eight total people staying and we all felt like we had plenty of room. Brian was a perfect host. Very accommodating.
Overall, I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Coeur d’Alene. We hope to be back in the future.

Property owner was very informative and was always there to make sure everything was going good. House was nicely set up and the deck that overlooked lake was great for family dinners and relaxing!

Our group of 6 friends stayed here in mid August. Brian was very helpful with a great lunch suggestion in Spokane , as most of us flew into the airport there. Our stay was overall great, Here is what you can expect. The kitchen was very well stocked ,great place to gather and cook for friends and family. And the knives where sharp. Which is the exception and not the norm in vacation rentals. There was a Keurig and a reg coffee maker as well. Both the downstairs and upstairs living area had excellent couches and chairs, new and comfortable.
The outside deck, table and chairs where great. There is a major road below, expect road noise. The beds and bedding were also excellent. There is a handrail in the stairwell, the pictures show no handrail on the website. There is no front door. You enter through the garage. The house appears to going through a remodel. With some things not quite finished . The a/c is a potable unit upstairs. There are big sliding glass doors /windows upstairs, but no screen , which would be really nice on a warm summer evening. Bring bug spray. A mirror in each upstairs bedroom would be great, and a towel rack in the upstairs bathroom as well. Last comment Brian was very responsive host, which was appreciated.

Nice place with a great view. The host was uoer responsive and very easy to work with. Even after we forgot something at the home he sent it back to us!

Upon arriving my grandchildren went from room to room thrilled with everything. We were concerned about the heat during our stay but upon arrival it was quite pleasant. The owner had given us suggestions on how to keep it as cool as possible. That helped. Lots of dishes, towels, TVs for every ones needs, beds were great and loved the deck and table that fit our group of 11 perfectly. Lots of room to spread out. Not on the lake but could see the lake and loved the trees. I would definately recommend this property.

If you’re looking for a true nature/cabin experience in CDA this is the place for you. It offers lake views, a great deck and it’s only a short 5 minute drive from downtown.

Nice view
Enjoyed our stay only downfall was lack of AC for entire house.

Family Fun
Well located home with beautiful views and plenty of room to have a family gathering. 8 of us stayed very comfortably and 10 more visited one night for a BBQ. Wonderful time

The property was clean and with ample amenities.
Showers were warm/hot and with great water pressure!
Access into the property was a bit awkward; having to go through a garage door that tends to get stuck on it's own latching mechanism.
The location to town was very convenient. It was easy to go out for a morning hike, then come back to the house to freshen up and then head back out to dinner. (Food in Coeur d'Alene did not disappoint!)
The view of the lake from the deck and the downstairs living room is mostly obstructed by trees.
For our purposes, this suited us fine. It was a nice and clean place to stay near town.

Seven fishing buddies, meeting up from all over the country, spending one week on Idaho’s amazing trout steams, and staying in terrific cabin = best days of the year. Great location; great host.

We enjoyed our stay at this house very much. The beds are comfortable and the house is fully stocked with everything you could need. Brian was very helpful with recommendations and easy to communicate with. Like the other reviews state, you feel like you’re miles from town, but actually minutes away from parks, great restaurants and plenty of shopping.

Although the property has been remodeled, unfortunately there are quite a few things that have been neglected. Old furniture, loose deck rails, a garage full of stuff, spiders and bugs in the bathrooms. On the positive side, if you’re looking for a private setting within a couple miles of Couer d’ Alene then this is the place for you.

Everything was wonderful about our stay. If we felt like going to town we could get there in 10 minutes, if we wanted to stay home and relax, we had beautiful scenery, deer, and turkeys keeping us company. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Check in and check out very easy and all of our questions were answered quickly!

We all loved our recent stay in CDA! The VRBO house was close to town and was stocked with everything we needed for our family get together. The big deck was the perfect gathering spot for meals and late night story telling! . SO many things to do in Coeur d Alene!

Brian was a great host, very quick to respond and answer our questions. The house was very clean. Kitchen was well supplied with cookware, however, if you’re going with a large group, you may want to bring an electric griddle. They even had kids dishware! There were several spices and condiments available to use which was nice. Rooms are a great size, lots of extra towels and bedding available. In place of AC, the amount of fans provided was perfect. This house had plenty of parking for our boat/truck and our two other vehicles. Very close to the lake and downtown area. All in all, we had a great experience here!

The house really is bigger than the pictures make it look. Plenty of seating for large groups. It's in a super private location. You can't see or hear the neighbors. It's a 15-minute drive to the main marina.
There is plenty of uncovered parking, despite the garage being too full of stuff to park a car in it. There is no wifi as the host states, but there is a TV and we were able to watch the Olympics.
One thing I didn't see in other reviews or the property description is there is no air conditioning except for one small window unit upstairs. We stayed at the end of July. Temps were in the 90s. The house was too hot to sleep until about 11pm at night, even with all the windows open and fans running. But we still loved it and would stay here again

If you are looking for a property close to town, but yet has a woodsy feel, then this is the place. Brian was very helpful and friendly. The house was clean and had everything we needed. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this again.

This home nestled in the pines was the perfect place to be! We watched wild turkeys from the deck and just generally relaxed and enjoyed nature. The home itself is beautiful and had plenty of space for us 6 adults. Owner Brian was very welcoming upon our arrival. We all say we will return for another visit!

We will be back! This is very private yet just 5 minutes from downtown C'Da. I particularly loved the shower head upstairs, no ducking or showering on my knees for this tall guy. Brian was an excellent host guiding us directly to the property by phone as we arrived at dark. Everything was well thought out and easy to find and use. It was just my wife and I but there are plenty of well equipped bedrooms for a family or multiple couples. We want to come back and bring our kids and their spouses! One caveat, if you are coming in winter you will need 4WD.If you stay several days, a half day trip to Wallace (about 1 hour drive) is worth every minute! The pawn shop has the most unusual items, like visiting a museum in some ways. The gem shop is a must see and eat lunch at City Limits Pub and Grill before the beautiful drive back. If you have more time to get out, the Buck Knife factory tour in Post Falls is a man's dream come true and my wife loved it as well. Thanks again Brian for your excellent hospitality and for making this amazing place available for us.

Great location and amazing views!
Great property with amazing views of the lake and surrounding area. Easy access to town. The road in/out can be a bit rough if it snowed recently, would definitely recommend having 4WD for any winter stays.
Brian is extraordinarily flexible and helpful, couldn't have asked for a better host. Don't hesitate to stay!
