About this house rental
A great place to get away from the hustle of life where you can enjoy solitude, the lake & nature in a private and peaceful environment. It is glorious!
You will not be in a neighborhood... You will have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful 20 acres on private property with mowed nature trails, an old barn that is over 100 years old, a farmhouse with such charm, and it all sits on the shoreline of Beaver Lake.
This private property is at the end of a lane with a gated entrance, and is right on the water's edge with a 180 degree view of the lake.
Nearest grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, urgent care, & bank are 15 minutes away.
The Farm House On Beaver Lake is over 100 years old and was updated in 2014. We added modern amenities, while keeping the charm of farm house living; including orginial repurposed wood and shiplap. It has a large screened-in porch across the front of the house with a stunning view of the lake and The Barn. The living room has a 48" flat screen with OzarkGo cable & wifi, and a DVR. The dining room table comfortably seats 8; and there are additional tables, chairs, and TV trays. The kitchen has a 6 burner gas commercial range & stainless appliances; it is fully stocked with pots & pans, glasses, dishes, etc. The laundry room has full size washer & dryer with counter space for storage, and it leads to the backyard. There are five (5) bedrooms each with their own personality; one is downstairs and four are upstairs. Each bedroom has a queen bed; one also includes a crib and another also includes a twin bunk. There are two (2) bathrooms; one on each floor.
Outdoors includes an outdoor shower with hot & cold water, picnic table, gas grill, fire pit w/ 10 Adirondack chairs and string lights, tire swings, swing, and two 2-person kayaks with 4 adult life jackets. Bring your own children’s life jackets; life jackets are required when using the kayaks.
We also have LOTS of wildlife. All the posted animal photos were taken on the property by me or my husband. So bring your camera!
The shoreline is a easy stroll where you can safely swim with no steep drop-offs. We do not have a boat dock, but Hickory Creek Marina is only 5.6 miles - where you can launch your boat. We are on the south end of the lake across from point 12 where the White River and War Eagle River merge. This area of the lake is MUCH quieter than the area north of us.
And the location is GREAT. You are within 30 minutes from some of the most famous attractions in NWA.
And while most guests want to hang out on the property...

Quaint. Clean. Beautiful grounds.

This was a great end of summer vacation for our family! Our party had 8 guests with 4 kids ranging from 11 months to 6 years. We had everything we needed with room to spare. Lake access was great and we prepared most meals in the kitchen. The house is on a beautiful piece of land and the kids really enjoyed the deer and an armadillo that frequented the property. Owner responded quickly with questions and even left us an apple cake at checkin! Everything was clean and as described. Would stay again, great hosts.

Perfect get away for my family! You need to be okay with quiet-no road noise, no sirens which is what my husband and I grew up with and therefore regenerates us.
Two of our "adult" kids (19 and 20) enjoyed the morning walks and sneaking up on the armadillo each day. We took a raft and tied off to an old tree and just floated. The kayaks provided an additional workout to off set the home cooking we did on that awesome stove.
Everyone mentions the apple cake. I will definitely try to replicate it this fall. One of our kids is moving to the area so, Lucinda, don't be surprised if we are back--only with more extended family.

Thank you so much for a really wonderful vacation stay. Your farmhouse is so quaint, comfortable and welcoming....and the setting so gorgeous and peaceful! We truly felt like we we were stepping into another reality far, far away from the normal hustle, bustle of life. Perfect atmosphere for rest, relaxation, and family fun.
We loved exploring the property, watching the deer roam the water's edge, playing cornhole, frisbee, and tossing the football around on the HUGE lawn.
We prepared every meal during or stay (we love cooking together) and found the kitchen fully equipped with all we needed. We enjoyed dessert of Lucinda's spectacular apple cake or smores at the firepit every evening. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms clean well provisioned. The location, accommodations, and activities exceeded our expectations and we will definitely visit again! Thank you, Wallers, for your exceptional hospitality!

This property was truly a portal to wonder and relaxation. The lovingly restored farm house, stunning lakefront setting, and mostly the thoughtful and kind hosts made this our favorite getaway yet. We were greeted with a gift of homemade apple cake (recipe shared), then later by five deer and a multitude of rabbits in the yard. On our last day our host texted to let us know there were bald eagles catching a morning snack at the water’s edge. Just wonderful!

This place is absolutely beautiful. I can tell the owners take pride to keep up the house and the view. This is a pretty piece of land with some cool history. I recommend for a large group. We had 8 family members stay and still had extra room to spread out.

First, you should know I rated everything a 5 because no HIGHER rating is possible. The host is fabulous. She baked us a fresh apple bundt cake for heaven's sake and had it waiting for us in the kitchen. Who DOES that?! The house is everything you see in the post and more. The whole place was ... well, you just imagine ... a long walk along the lakeshore, a deer walking with you not 10 yards away, a light breeze as you sip your morning coffee in a rocking chair on the screened-in porch, later cooking a full meal in a well-stocked kitchen and enjoy it together around the large dining table. We didn't have time to use the extra large firepit or hike the many trails on the property (but the bug spray was right by the back door if we needed it).
Our group of four went for a work retreat and it was the perfect balance of room to work and time to chill. We CANNOT WAIT to go back.
Seriously, rent this place and thank me later. It's exactly the kind of place and the caliber of hosts VRBO and similar platforms were created for.

First of all, pictures do not do this place justice you've got to come see it person to truly appreciate how beautiful and charming the Farm House is. The owners have done an incredible job keeping the history alive and it shows in every detail inside and out. Lucinda is such a sweet host and welcomed us with a delicious homemade apple cake. The kids loved all the swings around the house and the firepit was lovely in the evenings while also having a front row seat to watch the sunset over the lake. You will NOT be disappointed.

Staying at the Farmhouse was pure escape. From the drive up the tree-lined backroad, thru the gate, and on to the property we all felt a huge exhale of relief and peace.
Actual quotes from the grandkids were "This really is JUST LIKE HEAVEN!" and "I can't stop RUNNING!!"
The authenticity of the 100+-year-old farmhouse was quaint yet totally accommodating for our family of 4 generations ages 4-84.
We were graced with a beautiful thunderstorm through one of our nights, and we just couldn't help ourselves but lay in our bed listening to the fall of the drops on the metal roof. It was delightful.
The creaking of the wood floors, all the views through the windows, the big welcoming dining table...
OH, and the delicious homemade apple cake that the host gifted us upon arrival!
It was like we traveled back in time to my grandmother's house, yet here we were with the next generations!
This was likely my mother's last real trip as her 84 years are beginning to make travel a challenge. I am so grateful for The Farmhouse and the memories it gave her and us together.
The host, the house, the beautiful setting - I can't say enough about this precious place.
Granddaughter was right... "It REALLY IS just like heaven!"

From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the place, the property, and the people. Hospitality at its finest. We were welcomed with a homemade apple cake that was out of this world. The farmhouse and property were absolutely exceptional. We adored the place. We loved sitting on the front porch drinking coffee in the mornings, and sitting around the amazing firepit in the evening. We made smores, we played cornhole, we grilled and ate out too. We watched the deer and the summer lightning bugs .We swam, kayaked and fished as well. They have thought of everything to make this a wonderful experience. The vision they had in restoring this place and the hard work is a gift for the guests to truly enjoy. We feel so lucky to have spent time here and look forward to returning again.

Fantastic property. Exactly what we were looking for. We had 5 kids with us and not one time did I hear “I’m bored”.. The owners were great and checked in with us making sure everything was perfect. If you are looking for seclusion and plenty of private property to roam and play all on a lake - this is it! We will be back.

Great place to take a bunch of kids. They forget about their video games and run to the kayak. The shoreline had a very easy path into the water and wasn't too muddy.

Five days wasn’t enough! Ever year we try to go to the lake for some much needed family time. This was the perfect place! From the moment we parked at the Farm House we were in love with the surroundings. We were greeted at the farm house by Lucinda’s phenomenal apple cake and a wonderful book in the living room showing Lucinda and DJ’s labor of love; taking an abandoned farmhouse and restoring it to a cozy farmhouse reminiscent of times past. The screened-in front porch was our favorite place to start and end each day, where we could rock and take in the beautiful views. The outdoor spaces were incredible. Tire swings. Tree swing. Fire pit surrounded by 10 Adirondack chairs (that have built in cup holders!) and the huge gas grill and picnic table. We ate out here a lot and sat around the fire pit making s’mores late into the night. The outdoor shower was private and wonderful for rinsing off from the lake or showering at the end of the day. We played lots of games of Corn Hole, and hiked the mowed trails that surround the property. Loved taking in the wildlife: hummingbirds, deer grazing on the lawn, and all the lightning bugs in the evening. We loved pulling our toddlers down to the lake in the little red wagon. The water’s depth was very gradual, which was great for the kids to play in and launch our kayaks. We had the pleasure to meet Lucinda and DJ and we can’t say enough about their hospitality. They greeted us as old friends, we can’t wait to see them again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay, we were greeted with a homemade cake and felt so at home. The kids loved having the space to run and play and wish they could move in. Seeing the deer by the lake in the evenings was a favorite. The host was prompt about answering our questions and resolving the issues. We’ll definitely be back!

We love using the Farmhouse property to gather our grown children and grandchildren together for some precious time together. We love pulling the grandchildren in the wagon and pushing them on the tire swing. Our three year old looks forward to going out on the kayak and is careful to bring her life jacket so she can! The fire pit provides a space for the adults to gather and talk late into the night without waking the sleeping babies since we can plug the baby monitor into the outside outlet where the lights strung around plentiful chairs add such a relaxed ambiance around the fire! Even the rain was welcome so we could enjoy the covered porch rocking and reading a good book. Lucinda’s wonder cake that greets us upon arrival is always a favorite! It is so closed to Springdale and Fayetteville that if you forget something it is a quick trip that our son was pleased to volunteer so that he could also get in a round of disc golf and be right back. The disc golf courses are amazing in the area, even Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed playing such well kept courses.

Stunning! You won’t find a better place on the lake. This is a wonderful environment to spend quality time with family and friends. The home has so much character and charm and is extremely inviting. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

We loved the property and the home. The grill and fire pit area were perfect for a wonderful evening. We sat on the screened in porch each morning for coffee. My son enjoyed fishing and caught several bass one evening. Walking around the property and along the lake was just beautiful. It is a bit of a drive in to town so I would recommend doing a grocery pick up on your way to check in so you have more time to relax. We hope to return soon for another visit.

The house itself was amazing! The pictures online do NOT do it justice. The kitchen is small, but the bedrooms were roomy. Everyone in our group was impressed with the everything. We took walks daily, and of course utilized the Fire Pit. We had more family visit us for the Fire Pit experience. They ALL loved the place. Lots of phones snapping pictures of the uniqueness of this place. The road leading to this Farm House is like so many in Arkansas, winding and hilly... BUT once you arrive, it is ALL worth it. We are considering a family gathering during the summer when we can bring our boat and use the lake.. Our hostess had a yummy Apple Cake waiting for us!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Farmhouse!!! The house has been so beautifully preserved and is absolutely charming. The grounds were gorgeous and very well kept. The fire ring was our favorite gathering spot and was a beautiful space with plenty of seating. The trails were well maintained and having access to the 20 acres was a real bonus. They had everything we needed provided for us and the fresh apple cake was a huge hit with everyone. We also really loved the books with wild life photos and the house preservation that were in the living room. Everything about this space is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing!!

This is a beautiful, very homey location to stay for all ages! They have a nice fire pit surrounded by Edison lights & red Adirondack chairs, with a very nice grill right beside it. Walking trails that can help you walk off stress of a long ride or just extra energy! You also have a 180 degree of the lake. Just enjoy the scenic view from the front screened in porch while you count the visiting deer that come by twice a day. And be sure to read the history of The Farmhouse that’s in the Shutterfly books the host has left in the living room for you to read. It’s decorated in true farmhouse tradition & we loved it all!! The host was very responsive & accommodating. You won’t be disappointed, we’d rate it 5+ stars!!
Hope to visit it again some day!
