Very comfortable, smartly decorated home. Extremely close to water and great walking paths. Overall a great stay.

This house is in a prime location as it is walking distance to Dock St., downtown restaurants, shops, etc. It Is beautifully positioned right over the Gulf. It is meticulously decorated and the furniture is very comfortable as well as the beds. It has ample parking.
My husband and I, with our two grown daughters & spouses and a nine year old were all very comfortable. Everyone had their own space and bathroom!
The host answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly.
We stay in Cedar Key quite often and this is the place we will stay from now on with our family.

We just spent two weeks here at this fantastic property. 6/15/2024 - 6/29/2024. This was our first time in Cedar Key. We chose this property as we were looking for pet friendly and large because we had friends join us during our stay and were not sure how big of a place we would need. It was just myself, my wife and our dog so we had lots of room. Large master bedroom on main level with large private bathroom and dressing area. Half bath on main floor with washer/dryer. Two upstairs bedrooms on second level each with private bathrooms. the master and one of the upstairs bedrooms have water view. The second upstairs bedroom has street view. you should not need anything at this place. They have thought of everything. very nice furnishings. The location of this place provides the best view. We saw many dolphins daily and they came in very close to hunt. You can fish right from your seawall however, although there were lots of fish to catch, they are mainly of the catch and release variety. Catfish, rays, sharks, ladyfish etc. We saw some very large leopard rays leaping out of the water very close by. You can easily walk into town but we rented a golf cart for our stay as parking on Dock Street is limited especially in the evening and weekends. The golf carts can squeeze into very small spaces. The owner of this place is fantastic! We had an ac issue and the owner had it resolved same day and it required a motor. Can't say enough. RENT THIS PLACE!

We are frequent visitors to Cedar Key; but this was our first time staying at the Magical Pink House. The location is an easy walk to Dock Street. House has lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful and amazing view. The house was charming, spacious, very comfortable, and clean. It was well stocked with everything we needed - plus some.

We love to plan our trips around fishing and this place was a catch. You can fish right on the property and amenities were available such as fishing pole holders, and covered area in case it rains. We caught so many species of fish which kept us very happy. The house was perfect with gorgeous views in every room. It was tastefully decorated but some upgrades such as the wallpaper could use some repairs. That didn’t bother us a bit. The place was very clean. We would love to plan another visit in the future.

We had a great time at the Magical Pink House, and communications with the owner--both before and during our stay--were great. As others have mentioned, the house would benefit from some updating and repairs, but that is understandable base on the battering it gets from the elements and the almost constant use by vacationeers. For example, a severe spring storm rolled through one morning and all the windows leaked on the side of the house facing the wind. We ran around stuffing towels in all of them. I let the owner know and she promptly responded that she would have their handyman check on it.
We thoroughly enjoyed drinks on the deck in the evenings and family game nights around the dining room table. Be sure to walk the short distance down to the point to watch the sunset and again to enjoy the view of the Milky Way when it gets completely dark! We rented a golf cart, but it wasn't necessary since we could easily walk to the pier, restaurants, shops, etc. Some of the group fished from the patio, but didn't have a lot of success. (Book a trip with Capt Cameron at Saltwater Hitman Fishing Charter instead.) The kitchen was fairly well equipped for the couple of meals we prepared, but we really enjoyed all of the restaurants within walking distance. If you're looking for a quiet time with family, the Magical Pink House is a good choice.

We LOVE the Magical Pink House. This was our third visit, and we will be back. The view cannot be beat, from both the inside and the outside...plus it's a short walk to either the shops on Second or the Pier. The living space is comfortable, and so are the beds! With 3.5 bathrooms, every bedroom has it's own bath...plus a half bath off the kitchen. Kitchen is very well appointed. Can't say enough good things about this property!

Great place. Right on water. Clean and comfortable. Great view

Overall the place was okay, Bathrooms bad with mold around tub and showers, need some attention, main bedroom bath fan vibrates the bedroom floor above. outside deck should be replaced, boards not just weathered they are rotten with exposed nails. Worst of all we had grease all over kitchen floor after cooking breakfast only to find out the grease trap had not been cleaned for a very long time.

We spend three nights at the Magical Pink House and it was the peace and quiet we needed. It was a perfect location to watch the sun rise and set. And how beautiful was that? Amazing. Cedar Key is a special place and this house made more than special. It made it magical!

Great location. Great views. Very nice accommodations - a true 3 / 3.5 as listed. Despite recently going through a major hurricane the house and cedar key itself were up and running - If you didn’t know, you wouldn’t know. We’d stay again.

As good as it gets in Cedar Key. Easy access to all parts of the Key and just a short drive to Crystal River and Homosassa Springs. Hopefully we’ll be able to stay there again soon.

Clean and comfortable home, well equipped kitchen and stocked bathrooms linens. The 3 couples that stayed all loved the location, deck and house.

For our family of five adults the house was perfect for relaxing between activities; enjoying the view, the birds and stars.
The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We cooked quite a bit. The drip coffee maker could have been larger. We needed to make three pots in the morning. That’s all I can think to suggest as an improvement. We were very happy there for a long weekend. Perhaps a note to bring in deck cushions at night would be helpful. We found them wet one morning so couldn’t sit out. I highly recommend the pink house to others!

The house was awesome location awesome the only thing that was not were the locals they acted like they did not want you there in general from the local grocery, marine and hardware store the only locals that were pleasant were the local authorities and steamers restaurant we will not be back and I think the locals want that, we had very little interaction with locals because we took boat and fished mostly (fishing was decent)
