Our penthouse is located in the “Las Palomas Golf and Seaside Resort” on Sandy Beach, one of the best resorts in the area. This penthouse is a 3b/3b condominium with a private suite (lock off unit). All 3 bedrooms are very independent from each other giving great privacy to all which is one of the many great features in this Penthouse. All bedrooms have spectacular ocean views. Fully furnished, and decorated, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, pool table converts into air hockey and ping pong table, propane grill and fire pit on the patio. Overall, we had a great stay in this amazing penthouse. The space was very comfortable and clean, providing a pleasant environment for our stay. However, we did notice a few areas that could use some attention. There were cracks in the walls, and the ceiling in the master bedroom appeared to have some structural issues around the light fixture. Additionally, there were several lightbulbs that needed to be replaced, and the firepit could use some maintenance or replacement. These issues are minor and easily fixable, but addressing them would greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests. Despite these small concerns, the incredible views and sunsets from the penthouse overshadowed any inconveniences. I would gladly rent this property again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your unit and for providing us with lasting memories.

Overall it was a great condo with an enormous balcony and the views are amazing. We had plenty of room to play corn hole on the balcony. Everything was in working order. Will definitely be back.

We had an excellent time staying at this property. My husband and I wanted to take my parents to Rocky Point for their first time, and we wanted to be sure they had a great time! Mission accomplished. They were wow-ed with the incredible views from this condo!! Las Palomas as a resort is nice- they do a really good job keeping the grounds clean. The condo itself is very well sized. There is a master, a large second bedroom, and also a lock-off bedroom. Master and large second bedroom both open up to the MASSIVE main deck, and lock -off has its own deck. All have expansive views of the ocean. All bedrooms have brand new king size beds which are very comfortable. There are some previous reviews about beds not being up to par, and that issue has been handled very well. Everything we used worked just fine, although I admit we did not try the grill or firepit so I cannot comment on those things. For a group of 4, this condo gave plenty of room to spread out. My husband unfortunately had to work one of the days we were there, but he just used the lock off room as a makeshift office and The internet was fast enough for him to have uninterrupted meetings on his VPN. There have been some comments about this condo needing some TLC, and honestly I would have to disagree. There are signs of sun damage on the outdoor cabinets, but I would expect this on a big outdoor patio that is in direct sunlight most of the time. Inside, everything is very nice! What a great trip!! We will be back :)

While the size of the condo is great the dilapidated appearance was not so great. Holes in floor tile missing peeling rusty cabinet doors on outdoor kitchen. Broken jacuzzi, decorative fountain, pool table/pool cues and fire pit were huge disappointments and eyesores. The mattresses are sunken in the center and could use a flip or replacement. The dishwasher is not bolted in and tips when you open it or pull the racks out. Smart TVs in the rooms would be a nice added touch.

Apologies for the unfavorable review. We are owners in Diamante 408 and are happy to further discuss. We planned a surprise party and I was definitely disappointed.. Repairs are needed. Jacuzzi on the patio was an eyesore, trough filled with shells and whale bones was not too attractive and outside bar needs a rehab. Cabinet doors (bar outside) are damaged and some not even attached. Interior needs work as well. OLP also needs to clean the trash off the roof top that is an eyesore when looking out towards the Malecon. No shower handle, shower curtains dangling, TV area wall needs repair and water damage (and dripping) in front Master. Interior had a musty smell due to the water damage. Overall this property could really use a freshening up and a coat of paint.

We enjoyed our stay despite the wind and mother nature not cooperating. The property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Unfortunately we could not get the fire pit to work and the grill did not work very well. Definitely not a deal breaker though. We would definitely stay again. The resort staff were all friendly and helpful.

This property was great! We loved spending time on the patio and walking the beach. The only thing I could find fault with was the beds. In a place this well appointed, I was disappointed to find old, squeaky, Queen beds that were not comfortable at all. I would upgrade to a king for sure and would invest in a quality mattress. Other than that, it was perfect for our group. Would recommend.

This place is AMAZING! The pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor deck is massive! So many places to sit, lounge, relax. Las Palomas brought us a new propane tank so we could use the grill. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular and the deck gives you a wrap around view. Being on the 11th floor, we could see all up and down the coast as well as all of Phase1's pools/beach. We used the pool table, air hockey and ping pong. This is a perfect place for families and those that like to entertain. I hope to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay! It was such a great time and this place has so much to offer. I do have a few complaints we would be the master bedroom, the bed is uncomfortable woke up everyday with backaches and that room was very warm. And the elevator situation is horrible, we waited 20 minutes. One of the nights security walked in to the room with separate entrance at 4am while my daughter was in the room and they argued that the room wasn’t connected to the condo and made her and her boyfriend go to phase2 to get new keys that still didn’t work on that entrance and the manager at front desk was very rude with me about and never gave me a reason why they just walked in at 4 am. Even with this mishap, it’s not enough to keep us away from staying in this condo again! It’s a beautiful place and we will be back!

This is an old property. We experienced maggots the first night… all over the floor. The hot tub does not work. The fire place does not work. The barbq does not work. Pls bring everything with you - including dish soap and sponge, paper towels etc The host is responsive but hands off all issues to the property managers… The Amenities are nice at the property and Maria restaurant is good. Pool food and room service food is not so good.

Very good experience. Being on the 11th floor has its ups and downs pun intended, waiting and riding the elevator was a small hassle but being on the second from the top floor had it’s advantageous too, the views are awesome, there is another unit above and those tenants did get loud a couple times in the 4 days we stayed but we have experienced much worse. The unit is well furnished and clean it had everything we needed although we only prepared breakfast there.

The size of the penthouse was perfect four our family of eight. The balcony was our favorite part as it’s huge and provides an amazing view! The owner, Jerry, provided great customer service! He was always available to answer our questions. We’ll definitely return!!

The rooms were great! We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space except for the BBQ grill, which had no propane and that was disappointing because we bought meat to barbecue. The amenities were outstanding including the pool and access to the beach. What a weekend!

Jearry was so good to work with and he promptly answered any questions we had. He went above and beyond by e-mailing us the menu's at the restaurants and any other information he thought would be helpful during our stay. We had 7 adults and this condo fit us perfectly. We love this resort and would definitely recommend this condo, it was perfect for us.

The Bad- Checking in was poor. We were told numerous times our room would be ready but ended up waiting almost 2 hours to get in our room. Even when we were finally allowed in maid service was still in there cleaning and maintenance was in there working on the kitchen sink and laundry room. They didn’t do a very good job cleaning. My wife had to sweep up a few areas. The good. The balcony and views were amazing. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed the grill and fire pit. Cable TV was good too. Communication with owner was also very good.

Great location, perfect for a family getaway. The outdoor grill was great so we didn’t have to heat up the condo. The fire pit was also a great perk for listening to waves and relaxing at the end of the day. Jerry was very responsive and helpful with all my questions. Tip: if you want to grill, be sure to check the propane first thing so you can call down for one. It’s awesome that it’s free but with how busy they were it took an hour to get the replacement tank.

Overall, the experience was very good. Location and views could not be beat. The beach and amenities are spotless and the one pool that is heated is nice, clean and the bar has good food and drinks.The staff was very helpful and quick with service items. The unit was amazing for size and the patio was ridiculous!!Here are the negatives:The unit is a little older and needs a bit of TLC. There were 2 areas where the ceiling had a bit of a collapsing going on. Also the grill was not hooked up or the hot tub on the roof.There was only one restaurant open, and unfortunately is was the worst place we tried in town. There is only 1 heated pool. the other pool and lazy river are a bit useless until the hot months.Those all being minor items, I would 100% recommend this place. I will be staying here again.
