About this house rental
Lot's of upgrades done in 2019. Every bedroom has a TV and 3 of them are smart TV's. including the master bedroom The basement has a new 55" Smart TV (DVD players will be available for use if desired). The King in the master and the Queen Mattresses (upstairs bedroom with the crib, and the downstairs queen bedroom with the twin bunks) were replaced with new gel memory foam mattresses, and there are new additional furnishings all throughout the house. All new towels, all new bed linens, new pillows, new shams, and a fully stocked kitchen including: All new copper non-stick pots and pans with lids, new big cutting board, all new silicone cooking utensils, new mixing bowls, new kids plates and cups, new knives and knife block and new silverware. And a new coffee maker. Kitchen is DEEP cleaned every couple of months.

The House: The kitchen has granite counter-tops and everything you could need for cooking family meals. It also has a deep stainless steal single bowl sink with a new retractable faucet spray, and a large center island for food prep. The view from our home will take your breath away as soon as you walk in. It's spectacular. There is a mud room right off the garage for shoes, boots and jackets - as well as a closet for you to keep all your jackets. There are also wall hooks in the garage also for additional hanging storage and ski gear. All interior doors and door frames are solid dark knotty alder wood, hickory flooring on main floor. You'll find rustic yet modern fully appointed rooms and decor. If you enjoy attention to detail with regards to decor, you will certainly appreciate our home.

Room/bed configuration: Main level - Master bedroom: One king bed, second bedroom: One Queen bed and one baby crib and changing table.
Downstairs - Bedroom one: One queen bed & one twin bunk bed, Bedroom two: One queen over queen bunk bed (two queen mattresses).
Kids: Even though our kids are older we think it's a huge amenity to provide items for families with younger children. There is a crib in one of the upstairs bedrooms where there is also a queen bed (same room). We also provide a pack and play, high chair and baby gate for the top of the stairs. We also have a closet with all kinds of board games and puzzles for all ages.
Location: One really great thing about our location is having City Market grocery store at the base of our mountain. Anything you need is just two minutes away. Including a liquor store, gas station and Starbucks and now a McDonald's too. We are literally on the the same mountain as Granby Ranch ski resort, which is a family oriented ski resort that suits every skill level. (unless you're into black diamonds or back country skiing. In that case, Winter Park is 18 minutes away.) Our location offers loads of outdoor activities.
Notice: We usually retain dry goods in the house such as spices. MOST people appreciate not having to go out and buy all that stuff for cooking that they probably wont use up, and won't take home. I personally hate arriving to an empty pantry with no salt, no pepper, no nothing. I suggest arriving at the house to see what's available before you grocery shop. Sometimes the cleaning people will leave something that's brand new in the refrigerator. Like unopened bottles of water, beer ect. We will make sure it's kept to a minimum, but please expect this if you choose to stay in our home.
We highly encourage reporting any malfunctioning or broken items upon arrival so that we can do our best to rectify any issues as quickly as possible. It is our goal for you to have the best possible experience in our home.

Spent one week at this property. It was clean, comfortable and reflected what you see in the pictures on the website. The rear deck was awesome, spent lots of time there enjoying glorious views. Close to town, we also visited Rocky Mountain National Park and saw a great concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was great all around! Conveniently located near RMNP for a few days of exploring, and laid out perfectly for a multi-family gathering spot. All of the comforts of home made our arrival and stay easy. The town is cute and lots of fun, local things to do depending what you’re looking to do. Will definitely keep this spot in mind again when we return for an extended RMNP visit.

Our family stays here every year for Superbowl weekend. A new TV was installed and when their was a problem with the cable connection causing a fuzzy picture, the property manager arranged for a service tech to come out on Sunday morning to fix it so we would have a great picture for the big game!

It could have been cleaner and the deck railing was not up to code. Master bathroom was beautiful but it would be nice to have a walk in shower for seniors. I would recommend.

We loved staying here for our family gathering! The house was very comfortable with more than enough room for our group. We had an 18-month-old in our group, so the crib and high chair were so helpful and much appreciated. Clean, lovely home with beautiful views!

This house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family and the kid’s friends that we brought skiing. The kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to be able to use the garage. The driveway was a little steep but we never had a problem getting up and down it. Loved the views from the house.

This place is great and exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of rooms to sleep everyone, and plenty of space so we could all spread out when needed. The views are amazing and we just couldn't get over them! Only thing I would say is the kitchen chairs are all pretty wobbly and loose and seem close to breaking. Probably all need to be replaced sooner than later!

We loved the property. The beds were pretty comfortable, lots of room for gathering, and very close to the slopes. Our two biggest concerns which i believe were situational based on other reviews, was a lack of communication and responding from the owner. They did not respond to us for 3 days then again after they finally did respond for another 2 days after we had a few questions. They stated they had been moving that week, which is great and does make sense for a delayed responding but they did know we would be there so i would have thought they could have at least responded in the same day. One of the questions was answered by their note book so that was on me, however the other should have been addressed much quicker due to a safety concern.
Overall our family did have a good trip and it was a great experiance.

This was our family trip., and we all loved the area, the view at night and waking up seeing the snow all over was the best view. Enough space, grocery store 5 minutes away and the host of the home answer within minutes of reaching out to them. I would definitely recommend this home.

BEAUTIFUL Cabin, Great Views, All the Amenities
This spot is the perfect home-base for all of your outdoor activities nearby.
The home itself is beautiful and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, couches were comfortable, the kitchen was fully operational, and the deck provides an amazing spot for meals, playing games, or just looking out at the absolutely incredible view this place has to offer. The deck, honestly, is the star of the show. The home is placed high enough on the hill that there are no obstructions to the gorgeous mountain view directly in your eye-line.
The check-in/check-out was super easy, there is a washer/dryer on site, a fireplace, and spacious garage.
Overall, a really excellent spot to spend a weekend!

Weekend Getaway
We had a great stay, thank you for the use of your home! Our party of 10 (3 adults and 7 kids) had plenty of space to run around and sleep. The house was as described, clean, comfortable furniture/beds and had everything we needed to make meals for our crew. The house is in a quiet area with a lot of deer watching and a great sunset off the deck. We did hit the tubing hill and rec center in Fraser, which was an easy drive. Thank you again!

We had a wonderful vacation with our friends in Granby and this house was perfect for our group. We had 4 adults and 7 kids. The adults stayed in the two upstairs bedrooms and the kids all slept downstairs in the two rooms down there. The mattresses were firm memory foam. There were extra pillows and blankets available. The kids in one room got really hot on the top bunk so we closed that vent. There are closets in every room with a few hangers and some shelves.
The kitchen was well stocked with a nice coffee pot, toaster, crockpots, pots & pans, dishes, and working appliances. The kitchen table seats 6 and the kitchen island has 3 chairs. We brought up a couple stools from the smaller table in the basement so we could all sit together for meals upstairs.
The washer and dryer worked great too!
The gas fireplace was a little hit and miss with how long it would stay going but it would eventually warm the upstairs. Although we showed up to a 60° house, the heater worked great to get it up to a more comfortable temperature while we got settled in.
The Siggs were very responsive to our needs. We showed up to an impassable driveway and overflowing trash in the garage from the family the week before (Christmas). We called the Siggs and they arranged for the snow plow to come clear the driveway. They also came and dealt with all the trash on trash day so we didn’t have to do that ourselves. We stayed the week after Christmas and Granby got dumped on with snow. It was great for skiing but made some other things more difficult, like the steep driveway and neighborhood roads. We have a front wheel drive 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. We had a lot of trouble getting it up the hill in the neighborhood to just get to the house. After a couple more days of snow, we ran into town and got chains for our tires to make it possible to drive up the hills in the neighborhood and up the mountain to the ski resort. Our friends had 4 wheel drive and did much better. They were able to park backwards in the garage and make it up the snowy driveway with a running start. We had to leave our van parked on the street. Sounds like we had an unprecedented amount of snow in the week we were there though.
Last but not least, the Siggs worked with us to extend our stay by one night due to a winter storm creating unsafe travel conditions. They gave us a discounted rate for that unexpected night and that was very appreciated.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glassware. It would have been nice to have a few more large serving dishes and utensils. It looked like others had left spices and some canned goods behind, which was convenient.
A couple of easy fixes would be to increase the bandwidth for the internet. I this day and age, everyone has computers and smartphones they want to use. The TVs were good and we only watched as a family one night (too much else to do). When we watched a movie, we found it frustrating again because of limited bandwidth and ended up turning it off.
Physical requirements that would be good include; more chairs around the table. We should have easily been able to seat 8 at the table, but only had 5 chairs. The driveway was a little tricky to navigate if you didn't know how to back up going uphill. I would also recommend stabilizing the railing around the deck. We didn't have small children, but I would have been nervous if we did.
Overall it was a great location and accommodated our needs. I much prefer the Grandby side of the Mountains to the more commercial side of Estes Park. Views were spectacular!!!

Wonderful property in a great location .
Our group ranged in ages from infants to seniors and we were able to accommodate everyone. The crib, highchair, and pack n play were a huge help with the infant. House was clean and spacious. Great location to RMNP and other activities. Would definitely rent again. The owners were easy to communicate with and quick to reply. Thanks for a great week!
