The Wellington Amphitheater has a calendar of weekly events you can find online - sorry we are unable to publish the exact site but everything is free and about a 3 minute drive from our home. On Friday evenings visit the lakeside market with dozens of vendors. Within minutes find dozens of great restaurants including Kaluz, Oli's Fashion Cuisine, Stonewood Grill and Tavern, Agliolio's (Italian) and many, many more. Literally hundreds of fantastic restaurants, many with ocean-front dining, can be found within a 20 to 30 minute drive. Wellington is best known for its equestrian and polo events from January through early April. See below for more info on these world class events.
The Palm Beach/West Palm Beach area has beautiful public beaches open year-round. Families can enjoy Lake Worth Beach (35 minutes) or Jupiter Beach Park (45 minutes) as both have lifeguards on duty and plenty of parking. At Lake Worth Pier, eateries include Kilwin’s Chocolates and ice cream, Mamma Mia’s Pizza, and Benny’s Pier, a full-service restaurant and bar. Jupiter Beach Park lies on the south side of the Jupiter Inlet with 1,700 feet of guarded beaches, picnic areas with grills, restrooms, outdoor showers and a sand volleyball court.
Family fun and adventure awaits in the Palm Beach area. Visit Lion Country Safari (10 minutes) with 1,000 animals on 600 acres. The safari preserve is divided into 7 main habitats, where you will see a variety of iconic animals, including some of the largest herds of zebra, rhino, and giraffe on record in the country. On foot, explore the 55-acre adventure park with rides, animal habitats and encounters, food and shopping. Our favorite event is feeding the giraffes!
Rapids Water Park, located in Riviera Beach, FL (30 minutes) sits on 30 acres and includes 42 slides and attractions, including a wave pool, dual seven-story speed slides, and a quarter-mile lazy river. Enjoy kayaking on the Loxahatchee River or an educational visit to Loggerhead Marinelife Centre (40 minutes).
Discover the Everglades on one of many airboat tours, glimpse the homes of the rich and famous on a Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale Sightseeing Cruise, or take a Jupiter Island Cruise and see the Jupiter Lighthouse and celebrity homes, especially lovely at sunset. Private cruises, fishing charters and tours are plentiful. Wellington is conveniently located to West Palm Beach (30 minutes), Jupiter (45 minutes), Miami (75 minutes), Orlando (2.5 hours) and the Florida Keys (approximately 4 hours).
A visit to Palm Beach is an absolute must! “Whispered secrets. Massive fortunes. Marked graves off Worth Avenue and sequestered public gardens; billionaires and heiresses and presidential retreats … this is Palm Beach, and there’s no place in the world quite as tantalizing.” (Travel and Leisure Magazine). Worth Avenue is an upscale shopping and dining district in Palm Beach stretching four blocks from Lake Worth to the Atlantic Ocean. Worth Avenue also includes smaller, architecturally significant "vias" off the main avenue. Spend the day browsing or shopping in approximately 250 high-end shops, boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries including Trillion, Giorgio Armani, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Hermès, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Chanel, Vineyard Vines, Brooks Brothers, Salvatore Ferragamo, Island Company, St. John, Valentino, Akris, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Max Mara, Vilebrequin, Van Cleef & Arpels and more. Take a break from shopping and visit The Breakers, the undisputed icon of Palm Beach, where non-guests can sip cocktails and enjoy a meal at the oceanfront Seafood Bar, where an elongated aquarium with live fish serves as the bar’s countertop.
Spend a fun-filled day at CityPlace (25 minutes) comprised of 600,000 square feet of retail businesses, over 20 restaurants, a 20-screen theater, open-air plaza, cultural arts theater as well as hundreds of private residences. Shop in a place where old-world architecture, beautiful fountains, and sidewalk cafes create an atmosphere strikingly reminiscent of a European town center. The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts borders the west side of CityPlace and walking north on Rosemary Avenue will take you straight into the Historic Clematis Street area. The Kravis Cultural Art Center features amazing performances from around the world, including the fully professional Palm Beach Opera ~ a small slice of New York City in the Sunshine State!
One of our favorite places to visit in West Palm is Elisabetta's for a waterfront brunch with bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, bellinis or aperol spritzes while overlooking the yachts, followed by a visit to the Flagler Museum (30 minutes). When completed in 1902, the New York Herald proclaimed that Whitehall, Henry Flagler's Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was "more wonderful t1han any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world." Today, Whitehall is a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as the Flagler Museum, offering self-guided tours, changing exhibitions, and special programs.
January through March, enjoy the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and immerse yourself in world-class show jumping events. WEF is a wonderful family-friendly event showcasing top riders from around the world. In addition to the spectacular riders, children can enjoy a free petting zoo, carousel and other activities. Equestrian events take place throughout the year as well. Take in a polo match and brunch at the USPA National Polo Center (NPC) in Wellington. Each year, the biggest names in polo make their way to the pitch for an impressive lineup of events that start in January and lead up to the prestigious U.S. Open Polo Championship® in April.
There is no lifeguard on duty. The house, its owners, and agents of the property will not be held liable for accidents, pool-related, sea wall, lake, or dock accidents, drowning, or bodily harm/personal injuries.

This property is beautiful. The backyard landscaping made us feel like we were in paradise. The owners were promt in answering our text or emails. The only thing that I will say for information purposes anyone bringing an elderly parent who is limited in mobility (I had my mom on this trip) the beds are high but very comfortable and my son was more than happy to take the king size bed. We made it work with the bunk bed room so it was totally fine. I would definitely want to stay here again the next time I am in Florida!

Unique but great layout for older kids/friends! Kitchen has to have everything one would ever want - we are not big chefs ; absolutely stunning ‘lifestyle’ backyard that is the most exceptional I’ve quite frankly ever seen- treasure for sure that won’t disappoint!

Overall , we had a great stay! The pool and grounds are amazing! Heated, super clean, etc. I must say we were very hesitant over the duplex situation. But honestly, it worked out fine, the dogs are great. Our kids loved them. The beds are great, and everything you need is available to you for cooking, towels, etc. THANKS AGAIN

This house was a great place to stay while in town for the week! The pool and backyard grounds were absolutely beautiful! House was nice, clean and well maintained. If you want a place that has a stocked kitchen, then this is it! Seriously, they have everything you can imagine you'd need, crock pots, griddle, LOTS of pots and pans, extra silverware, all needed utensils, and even cold mugs in the freezer. I haven't actually stayed in a place that had so many kitchen items. Used the grill out back a couple of times too. Owners were very nice and easy to reach if needed. Plenty of towels and wash cloths, more than you get at most places. Great kitchen, dining area and living room! Neighborhood felt safe and was clean. I'd definitely stay here again of we ever come back to town. Thanks for the hospitality!

Wellington Oasis
We visited the area for WEF. A perfect property for a family, or a group of friends. The yard is lush and the pool is lovely. The home is full of light, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, and cozy bedrooms. Laundry onsite is such a help following a day at the horse show. Wonderful stay!

First trip to Wellington
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home! It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We came to Wellington to attend the Winter Equestrian Festival, and this home is only three miles from the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, so it was very convenient! There are plenty of good restaurants and grocery stores close by also! Susan was wonderful to work with and always very responsive whenever we had any questions.

Awesome Heated Salt Water Pool & Backyard
Overall, a nice rental. Property is a single-level house that is divided into two dwellings: owner's side and renter's side. Each share front door keypad access but each unit has it's own keypad entrance door. Pool area is shared. Owner very responsive to issues, if any. I had some issues with A/C and Sue had a repair guy out quickly. A bigger issue for me was the back (poolside) door and large windows have no window coverings which allowed very little privacy and the hot sun just heats up the place, making it difficult for the A/C to work properly. Owner Sue says she will be getting window coverings in the future. Sue seems like a nice, caring owner and is easy to deal with.
There are three bedrooms, one shared bath and one powder room, so if you're looking for a Master ensuite situation, this is not for you.
The rental was decently maintained, pretty clean and decently-stocked. Beds/pillows average comfort/quality. Washer & dryer is in messy, hot garage but I'm thankful I could wash my clothes. I'm a bit picky about stuff, I did not like that all waste receptacles did not have plastic bag liners included - I had to purchase my own when time allowed. Paper towels and toilet paper were provided, but not good quality (think: Dollar Tree.) Pots & pans were old and kinda beat-up. No decent knives but I think that is pretty much universal in most of the rentals I've stayed in the past. While there are smart tvs in all the bedrooms, I had a hard time figuring out the remotes and ROKU stuff. Even with directions in hand, I couldn't get regular Comcast programming. I'm not techy so probably user error....
The pool/backyard is the highlight of the property. You will love the large backyard and all the pretty flowers and trees.
Neighborhood can be a bit noisy - one neighbor had loud latin music blasting after 12:30 am and there were some young folks partying until the wee early morning hours with Rap music. I believe at least one of the noisy properties was also a rental. Not much anyone can do about that.
All in all, a decent rental that is centrally located right off Forest Hill Blvd., convenient to everything.

Very enjoyable stay
We travelled to Wellington to visit family and we were very pleased with this rental. It’s in a safe neighborhood, we felt comfortable walking around. The house itself was clean and spacious. The outside space was the best part. Great pool! Our 6 year son spent a lot of time in the pool. The yard is beautifully maintained. It was just a great rental. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sue and Polly!

Wonderful outdoor space, you'll love it.
We stayed four nights and our time at the home couldn't have been better. It was fresh and clean and had everything we needed to be very comfortable during a stressful business trip.
