This was a great property and location.

Our unit was clean and did not disappoint in amenities. Great stay. Location was great! I would recommend some research on the best ski in ski out strategy. Took us a day or so but super easy once we figured it out. If we come back I will search out Oglala 2B! Also communication with Big Sky Vacation Rentals / VRBO were excellent! Thank you!

The house was great- beautiful location, plenty of room for our group of 12, only a couple minor issues that were easily taken care of (fixed garbage disposal & hot tub). Only thing was the dishwasher didn’t work after the first day or 2

lovely time without hassles
unfortunate that the fire place did not work

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Plenty of room for five adults (can house more), great kitchen set up, and loved the lower sitting room with propane fireplace - very cozy. Hot tub was real nice after long ski days.
Once you figure it out, ski-in/ski-out is great (take Lower Morning Star all the way to last cutoff. You go under a bridge then over three, last bridge says White Otter). You can get real lost if you’re not paying attention.
Only issues: outdoor grill did not work, fire pit was not covered and frozen over which was a bummer, and some dining room chair backs were broken (be careful when you lean back!). Wood burning fireplace was not working either, though the staff did let us know ahead of time so it wasn’t a surprise.
Would definitely recommend this can for your ski trip!

This cabin is another great option off of Oglala rd. We stayed at the cabin next to it 2 months earlier. As with our other experience the cabin was well stocked, management was very helpful and responsive, the cabin was very comfortable, furnishings were as advertised, and the location is completely ideal, especially if you have younger kids that need a safe easy access to the lifts on their own.

Perfect for large group
We come to Big Sky every year and have a group of 14 in our family - This was one of the best Powder Ridge cabins we have ever stayed in. Location is superb, the layout of these cabins work so well for large groups - spacious, clean and comfy!

Big family vacation
The cabin was perfect with plenty of room. The basket of starter items and having some staple items in the kitchen was great. It was a nice home base for our trip to Yellowstone.

Beautiful
Overall we had a wonderful stay. Beautiful setting and beautiful cabin. Plenty of supplies were there so we did not have to buy as much at the store before we came. The only downside was it was a little less private than the pictures showed. But we were never disturbed by any neighbors and it was very peaceful and quiet the entire week. I would definitely recommend this property.

The property in Powder Ridge (2B Oglala) was just right for our family of 12. It is well designed and well equipped.

The home is located in a beautiful area of Big Sky with scenic views of the mountains. On this trip, we had three young boys and eight adults, who enjoyed the hot tub and fuse-ball. From the hot tub we enjoyed the view as well as the moose that strolled by. We enjoyed the large deck with picnic table and fire pit. The home is comfortable as well as beautifully decorated.
About an hour from the home is West Yellowstone's entrance. The drive is beautiful through mountainous valley with a river.
We will recommend this property to family and friends!

As Advertised!
Terrific place, all the features and comforts of home. Great time for 2 families and 7 of us in total. 3 levels but relatively small footprint so would have been tight for 10 or more, but for us it was great. No complaints just appreciative.

Property was very nice clean and everything taken care of. Property management was very helpful.
Very enjoyable.

Family Ski Vacation
Great home for a week for our family of 12. 2 Grandparents, 3 Children with spouses and 4 grandchildren. Everyone was happy with their accommodations, the house is really well laid out. Easy to ski in-out, came back for lunch and short warm-up every day. Boots and gloves were quickly dried on the heater in the garage.
Kitchen has plenty of cookware and dishes. Liked the eclectic stock of spices since we forgot ours. Fireplace was going every day with a well-stocked supply of firewood. Had fun jumping from the hot tub into the snow.
Nobody watched TV the whole time.
Wish we could have stayed another week!

Great experience!
The home was in excellent condition, felt like we moved into a brand new home for the week! Kitchen was well stocked with all the essential equipment as well as boot heaters in the garage! Location was close to the main lodge, yet felt very private. One thing that could make slightly better (for the kids) is to attach the video game console to the downstairs rec room tv instead of the master bedroom. ; )

Perfect house in the mountains!
A perfect house for our family of nine.....ranging from eight years old to 75! It was all we had expected, and more! The house was immaculate when we arrived, just wish we could have checked in a little bit earlier, because our flight was so early into Bozeman. A GREAT house!

Wonderful
We truly enjoyed this cabin. We were a family of 13 and had plenty of space. Nice amenities including a hot tub, fuze ball table and fire pit. Nice drive to yellowstone - about an hour. Great views from the cabin. Lots to do in and near big sky . Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great Cabin for Multiple Families
This cabin was perfect for our ski vacation to Big Sky. Our group of 11 (6 adults and 5 teenagers) were very comfortable and we didn't feel cramped at all. The basement is a great teenager hangout. The cabin was also well stocked with firewood, trash bags, paper towels, and other items you typically have to purchase for a rental. The snow this year in early April caused the cabin to not be ski-in, ski-out, but the base is close and it was easy to drive and drop off skiers. The view from the kitchen was fabulous. My only suggestions, and they are minor, would be to add a griddle to the kitchen, replace the hot tub cover and to add fluffier pillows. Loved this place though and would definitely return!

Perfect Big Sky Vacation Home
Beautifully appointed home with incredible ski in/out access to the slopes. The house more than comfortably fit our group of 8 and served as the perfect ski vacation home. We enjoyed daily post-ski hot tub sessions with a view of the valley followed by relaxation time in front of the fire. The two large living/entertainment areas were great for watching movies. The house is well-wired - we were able to stream music via bluetooth through the speaker systems easily. Big Sky Vacation rentals does a good job stocking the house with necessary supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, hotel quality soap dispensers in the showers, endless supply of firewood, etc.). We will definitely seek out this house or a similar one offered by Big Sky Vacation rentals when we return to Big Sky!

Wonderful Getaway
We had to get away from the city for a while, so we opted for an escape to the mountains. This house was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice at all. It is easily big enough to comfortably fit 2-3 families and still have to room to do separate activities. Personally, I enjoyed being able to curl up in a comfy chair by the fire (inside or out) and enjoy the beautiful views while sipping my hot coffee. Since we were there at a slower time, it was amazingly peaceful. We know that there were others out there, but felt like we had the mountain to ourselves. I can't wait to do it again...maybe even during ski season to get some runs in - the trails that we could see on the drive looked unbelievable!

Perfect Summer Week in Big Sky
Our cabin was the perfect spot for our extended family getaway in Big Sky, Montana. The cabin itself is great with the right combination of personal space, higher end amenities and gathering areas for a big group. The location is also great and we really enjoyed our visit. Amenities of note are the Hot Tub and Fire Pit, with both getting used daily.
Big Sky is a great location as there are a ton of activities to do locally (Jake's Horses and Montana White Water are must do's!) as well as a great launching pad for excursions into Yellowstone (50 minutes to the park - 80 minutes to Old Faithful). Big Sky also has a number of very good restaurants (try the Gallatin Riverhouse!) and the resort itself has a number of fun summertime activities, especially for those looking for active adventures.
Overall, I'd highly recommend. Its a beautiful and fun place to visit in the summer.

Fabulous Family Location
Our family week in this perfect cabin was a true joy. We had twelve family members from four families. There was room for all and then some. We had superb attention from our BigSky Team.
The kitchen was a pleasure for multiple cooks combined with using the gas grill every night.
The most appreciated feature was the gas fire pit. We spent every night out on the huge deck chatting and laughing.
Our family feels very fortunate to have found Kirsten who showed us this lovely "Cabin" and made all of the arrangements by email for our stay. Meghan came soon after our arrival to check on us and provide answers to any questions. She gave us first rate info on all of our plans for the week.
Everything exceeded our expectations.
Happy Grandparents, Kids and Grandkids

Beautiful in every way!
We were blessed to plan a family trip near the Big Sky Resort area. This home is beautiful and has everything you will need during your stay. It is comfortable and works well to accommodate several families at once. The rental team are so friendly, kind and helpful. It would be a pleasure to stay here every year.

Awesome Escape!!!
This cabin was everything that was described and more!!! We came in the off-season just needing to get away from the city and relax. The amenities of the cabin were great...we cooked/grilled every night. We even had a fox come up and watch us from about 10ft away as we grilled!!! The view from the cabin is spectacular and is not to be missed. The cabin is very clean and very well maintained. The people working for the rental agency were so nice and informative of the area and attractions and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay.
I can't wait to come back and stay here again soon!!!

Fantastic getaway
This place is awesome! It has all the amenities you could need. The hot tub, fire pit and card table were used extensively. Located just a few minutes from town, where you can browse the local shops and pick up groceries, but far enough to leave it all behind. The views of the mountains and valleys are spectacular and access to the slopes is a cinch. The management was also very helpful and polite, coordinating fishing tours and providing wildlife tips (we saw a moose - thanks Chris!). Will definitely recommend this to friends.

Perfect!
Truly enjoyed our stay. House is beautiful. Spacious. Had 4 adults , 6 kids (4,7,9,10,12,12). Big Sky Rentals was easy to work with. Very reachable. Only cons:ski "out" a bit flat...kids had to put in some effort to get to first lift each day. (Sky in very easy though). Also, I purchased a guest membership to pool & fitness center at Moonlight Lodge-only went one day. Wasn't worth the purchase. Otherwise, great stay! Truly enjoyed!

Better than expected
We had a WONDERFUL time. The staff was friendly and helpful, the cabin was well located and had all the amenities we needed. We had 4 couples and it was the perfect size. You could comfortably fit another couple, but beyond that you would have 4 in two of the rooms. We cooked at the cabin every night and enjoyed the games, poker table, and hot tub. We brought our own groceries and wine/beer. The location was excellent, ski in ski out was good, though there was a flat stretch that snowboarders need to unhook and skate on. All and all a wonderful trip and we look forward to booking this cabin or a bigger one next year.
