Loved our stay in this cabin. Very peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing stay with my husband and baby. Mark was a perfect host, very helpful, friendly and responsive. The cabin interior is a little old but everything is functional.

We enjoyed our two week stay in this great little cabin. The view is priceless and the location to South Whidbey state park is very close. The cabin is suited greatly for a couple to enjoy the view, soak in the hot tub and relish in the peace and quiet of the area. Seeing an occasional submarine sail by was amazing. Can't recommend this location enough.

This cabin was exceptionally clean and organized, we loved the peace and quiet afforded by the back porch overlooking the sound. Watching, boats and ships alike navigate through. Lots of birds, lots of bunnies and a buck and doe wandering around. The hot tub was a major hit, the view from it was fantastic. Mark and Colleen were exceptionally helpful, the island has a lot to offer and many ways to spend time. Like I mentioned above, I haven't relaxed that much in years!

Excellent location to explore south Whidbey Island (or even places north). View was spectacular, including sunsets from the hot tub. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view. Highlight was watching all the different birds come to the feeder on the deck, along with deer, bunnies, chipmunks and quail in the yard. Cabin is clean and has everything you might need. Host is great!

This is our 4th trip to Whidbey Island and each time we’ve stayed at Mark and Colleen’s cabin. We consider it our home away from home. The view is our favorite part, especially when seen from the hot tub! The cabin is well equipped - we love to cook seafood when we visit - and the furniture is comfortable. Not a single thing to complain about, and everything to recommend!

We had a very relaxing stay at the cabin. We love the wall of windows in the living room, where we can gaze out at grass, trees and the Sound. In the evening there are beautiful sunsets over the water. The wrap around deck, with a large hammock and chairs, hosts a bird feeder, and if you keep it filled as we do, there is a constant parade of beautiful birds stopping by for a meal. The cabin is located near many beautiful hiking trails, beaches including the fabulous Double Bluff Beach, and is close to Freeland's downtown, with thrift stores, great antique shops and an excellent, and surprisingly large grocery store. And, at the end of every busy day, you can look forward to a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed!

The cabin was just what my partner and I needed after attending my mom's funeral. The hot tub overlooking the water was so relaxing. We appreciated the prompt communication from Mark and Colleen (owners) and when we left two items behind, they got a hold of us immediately to let us know so we could get our items. Easy access to Freeland and other great spots on the island. Clean, comfortable accommodations. The bed is also very comfortable which is important to us when traveling. We would definitely rent this spot again if we go back to the island.

Location amazing, mywife said I hit this one out of the park picking this place. The view and hot tub were so relaxing. Local eating establishments were very tasty. We got out to a few out door activities Double Bluff, Fort Casey and Ebeys Landing. Had a wonderful trip.

Enjoyed the amazing view. Soaked in hot hot tub. Slept in comfortable beds. Great price. Owner was helpful and easy to get a hold of, but not necessarily during our stay. Loved playing board games and puzzles provided. Close to Fort Casey for our child, Fort Ebey for hiking and biking. Close to stores. Feels far away from it all. Loved the poem in one of bedrooms and islands setting your spirit free.

This was our second stay here...and won't be our last! You can't beat the view, the hot tub, all the birds, the quiet, or the peace that comes with staying here. Often the pictures of a rental make the place look better than it is - not true here! In fact, the pictures aren't enough. We would have stayed longer but we booked too late (too many others know about this special place!) So if you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is it! Thanks again Mark and Colleen!

The views from this cabin are incredible. On a sunny day with the water and the mountains it is the quintessential Northwest place to be.
The cabin is rustic but cozy, and very comfortable especially for just the two of us. Loved the hotub and seeing the stars and the sunset.

Was mostly rainy while we visited, which ended up being fine. It was very cozy running the fireplace or sitting in the hot tub and watching the ships go by. Would certainly stay there again if visiting the area

The intent of our visit was to curl up inside an amazing cabin, enjoy it for its amenities, relax and enjoy nature. We arrived after a snow storm making travel on the island scary for those unfamiliar with the conditions-- Mark checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed-- We had no need or desire to leave again the rest of our weekend with the comfortable furnishings, the well stocked cabin, warm fire place, hot tub and amazing views especially for winter sunsets.

My wife and I need a time away "from life" and this house was the ideal location. It was quiet, an indescribably beautiful setting, very clean, just-as-advertised, and Mark and Collen couldn't have been any better as hosts! We already plan to return and have told many others it is a wonderful place to stay.

Really was just what we were looking for. Quiet neighborhood. Has a good cabin vibe. Great view. Short walk or shorter drive to Bush Point. Hot tub was hot and clean. Be careful on the deck especially when wet outside and at night as there is very little lighting.

The cabin was clean and toasty warm when the gas fireplace was on! The hot tub overlooks Puget Sound and is so easy to get on and out of. Marc the owner was a pleasure to work with. We will be back!

My adult son and i stayed at this cabin and were so happy during our time there.
The view was perfect! We were just a short drive to coffee, grocery, and lovely drives to Whidbey sights.
The property is in a very quiet neighborhood with deer, bunnies and quail. All of the rooms were very clean and well appointed. We had zero issues and appreciated the easiest check in and checkout. The hosts are incredibly wsrm and helpful. We were even able to check in earlier!! We plan on returning. 😄

Exactly as described with immaculate instructions on use of everything. Enjoyed all the notes of things to do and see on Whidbey Island. Incredible westward view over the water.

The cabin is located on a bluff overlooking the Sound with beautiful views at sunset. It is conveniently located near our favorite places to walk on the island such as Trillium Community Woods and Double Bluff Beach and is only an 8 minute drive to Freeland stores and markets. A peaceful beautiful setting. We enjoyed watching the birds feeding from the feeder right outside the living room window and the beautiful sunsets. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs. Admiralty Inlet & sunset views from hot tub, deck and cabin’s 2 large picture windows. Be sure to enjoy the stars at night! A simple switch turns on the gas stove in the living room, providing some warmth while watching TV, reading or playing a game. A basic Mr Coffee kept the pot of coffee hot and I’m going to buy the same one to replace our old one. We filled the feeder with the provided seeds but the squirrels dominated and the little birds had a tough time getting some. The feeder was empty in a few hours. We used the outdoor grill to cook a coho salmon that my husband caught that afternoon…it was the best meal we’ve had recently. Baked some potatoes in the oven and made veggies on the stove top. Kitchen is well equipped. It’s been mentioned that the kitchen needs updating & that there isn’t a dishwasher but we think it’s wonderful the way it is! Afterall, it’s a cabin and we appreciate the older decor and feeling of simplicity. We were there to relax & reflect and this cabin helped us to do that. It’s cozy and we slept great! We’ll gladly return.

We loved our stay here. It was a great base from which to explore Whidbey Island. Afterwards, we’d come back and lay in the hammock or sit on the wrap-around deck watching the boats and shops go by in Admiralty Inlet. Very relaxing! We were there during the Perseids so loved having the hot tub yo watch the stars at night. Mark was an attentive host and made sure we had what we needed.
