About this apartment rental
Our lovely townhome is located in the Fairways development at the Mauna Lani Resort. The small Fairways complex surrounds a large pool, hot tub and common area. The outer perimeter borders golf course and open space. The gated complex is private, peaceful, secure and easily accessed. The Auberge Mauna Lani Resort and the Fairmont Orchid Hotel are both within walking distance.
This spacious and well-appointed two bedroom townhome is the most popular and largest of the two bedroom floor plans available in the development, and is perfect for one or two couples as well as a family. The unit sits in a tranquil, private location within the Fairways and is a short walk from the pool and common area amenities.
Our townhome makes a wonderful vacation home and provides a prime access point for enjoying the private Owner’s Beach Club, the endless amenities of the Mauna Lani, Auberge Resort, area beaches, and exploring the entire Big Island. Enjoy two championship golf courses, shopping, restaurants, recreational and fitness activities for all ages and interests.
Our on-site concierge will provide detailed directions to the townhome, which will be prepped and ready for your arrival. You can rest assured we will take care of the details so you may enjoy your stay.
The Fairways at Mauna Lani is zoned RM-4 which allows for short-term vacation rentals. Our townhome has been registered with the State of Hawaii as a short term vacation rental as is required by law. Our registration # is STVR-19-356969.

We were pleasantly impressed with the home's amenities which included cable TV, WIFI, comfortable beds and bedding, kitchen tools as well as use of outdoor equipment (i.e., snorkeling equipment, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas). Once we secured our booking dates, we were contacted by the host who offered several recommendations during our stay. Lizette was outstanding in making sure we had access to the home upon our arrival. She provided a great suggestion to visit the Farmers Market for gifts and great food items. We all agreed that we will return to this beautiful home on our next visit to the Big Island.

Our family of 3 had an amazing time in this lovely home. Every night we would ride the bikes down to the beach and watch the sunset. During the day we enjoyed our time at the Mauna Lani beach club ( access card provided with home) a great beach for snorkeling and enjoying the private swimming cove. All the beach equipment you need is provided in the home too. A lovely unit in a great location, we had the best week here in beautiful Hawaii

We visited the Big Island 22 years after we came here on our honeymoon and stayed at the Orchid. I was thrilled to find this property right next to the Orchid, for use to return, now with our boys, ages 10 and 15. The community is placed amount the golf courses and is peaceful and quiet. The property was well designed, well-maintained and had all the accommodations and accoutrements that you could need for your stay. We arrived late in the night and the home was warm and welcoming for us and pristinely clean. We loved the balcony outside the master bedroom, the outdoor patio and the spacious kitchen. The master bedroom is incredibly spacious with a super comfortable bed. The pool was excellent for a quick dip after a day on the golf course or exploring all the Big Island has to offer. And we absolutely loved the private beach. My boys loved snorkeling and enjoying the beach club. I wishes I could have spent every day of our visit there but alas, we also had to explore Volcano National Park, golf, and visit Kona.
I was instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived after a very long journey from the East Coast and wa sad to leave at the end of our stay. I would highly recommend this property again and again to anyone that is looking for some more space for their small family when visiting the Big Island and enjoying all the resort that Mauna Lani has to offer from restaurants, to shopping to golf course, fitness center, pool, beach, spa and more. Aloha!

Coming back to the Big Island after getting married here at the old Kona Village (RIP) fifteen years ago. Communication and check-in process seamless. Property managers very pleasant and seemed to care. Condo was every bit as advertised and was perfect for us. As ex-VRBO owners, we were amazed how stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, dinnerware, glasses, etc. We know how hard this is to keep these items in stock and also keep them nice. Everything first class. Bikes were a great touch, and we used them almost every day. Owners beach was super-crowded when we were there, but we were there during spring break, so there you go. We had a fantastic second honeymoon, restful, quiet, convenient to all. Loved it.

Very nice grounds, conveniently close to stores and grocery. clean dna well decorated. The stairs are the most soft squishy stairs i've ever walked on it was like a cloud. beds were comfy and everything was really nice :)

This was by far one of the nicest places we have rented. It was extremely clean, was decorated to perfection, and had absolutely everything we needed. The neighborhood was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the pool area. The bikes were an added bonus, as were all the necessities for a fun day at the ocean. I appreciated that spices and oils were left in the cupboard, so that we didn't have to buy everything we needed to cook. The property manager was very accessible and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Property was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We felt like we were home away from home. Pride in ownership shows everywhere throughout the home. Great vibrant paint colors make the home very cozy along with the new carpet and floors that were recently installed before our stay. Everything you need for the beach was available, along with bicycles ready to ride. Close to both golf course which is a short drive away. Little more expensive than other similar units in the area, but well worth it because the condition of the property is at a very high level. The Owners were very responsive and informative keeping me updated along the way. Lizzette, the property manager was such a nice and welcoming person who ensured that our stay was perfect.

Loved our stay, and all of the amenties in the townhouse. We needed nothing but food and drinks. The convenience to the beach, resturants and local shopping/stores was easy to find. Only complaint is the AC wasn't cool enough at night and the beds need to replaced because of dippings in the mattress in the master bedroom and the bed in the guest room was too soft.

The accommodations are perfect! The unit is very well-maintained and decorated in first class condition. The Fairways Townhomes are for quiet stays and that’s exactly what we got. The pool is close by and you have access to the private Beach Club, which is just a short drive away. Very nice perk that throughly enjoyed. Every extra detail was provided - beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, full size washer/dryer, and much much, more. The unit is spotless, very clean, and very comfortable. It’s located down the street from a grocery store in one direction and a beach park in the other. This is one of Mauna Lani’s best places to stay - hands down. Thank you for a perfect vacation, and we will be back!!

Judging on quality, this might be the best property I have ever stayed at. It is clear that the owner and Lisette really care about the place and the happiness of their guests.
As an example, the place did not have beach toys. Not a big deal, given that it is very well stocked. We bought a set of toys and mentioned it to Lisette. She actually paid us for them, unprompted. I would definitely recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. The upstairs lanai was a great place to start the mornings. Not much of a “golf” view but enjoyable. We experienced several maintenance issues - including an inoperable garage door - most of which were corrected and all of which were addressed. Regardless, the owners have provided a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Very nice property and close to the beaches. The private beach was nice for snorkeling a lot of fish to see on this trip. The house was a perfect place to come back to after exploring the island, the neighbors were friendly and area was quiet.

Our family of 4 with 2 teenagers had a great stay. The access to the beach, bikes, beach supplies and snorkel gear was excellent. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed and more.

The garage was perfect to setup and store our bikes for the Ironman race. We used the provided snorkel gear and cruiser bikes to/from the beach club. The owner was very accommodating, let us check-in early since we landed early morning, and super kind and helpful when we had a problem with the fridge. Lissette at Homechex made the check-in / checkout process very smooth. Highly recommend it, we would happily stay there again!

Great property, great location and amenities. Clean and well stocked with everything you'd need to enjoy your visit to the Big Island including several bikes and lots of beach equipment. We love the Mauna Lani area and all it has to offer, 2 wonderful hotel properties, the beach club, close to shopping, many farmers markets and some of the best beaches on the Kona/Kohala coasts. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The manager/owner was very friendly and responsive and made sure that our stay exceeded expectations. We also made use of the private Beach Club and pool, both were excellent. The restaurant at the Beach Club is a must do!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very well stocked with all of the accommodations that we needed. It was easy to cook meals, use the BBQ, and enjoy the location and setting. We especially enjoyed using the bikes and the ability to take advantage of the Beach Club. Also helpful was the overall responsiveness whenever we asked for information or needed help.

What a lovely condo in a great location. Perhaps the best equipped Vrbo we’ve stayed in! The host has thought of everything - and we especially appreciated beach gear and bicycles for exploring the resort area. We loved the restaurants nearby as well as Hapuna beach! We hope to return to your slice of paradise! Mahalo!

Mauna Lani is such a convenient and lovely location and this townhouse is so comfortable. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen and everything works. Property manager and owner are responsive. You won't be sorry if you decide to rent this home.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. This unit is very clean and well-stocked. Lissette, the property manager, went out of her way to help us. We were coming from another unit in the same resort community and she let us store our cold groceries until this unit was ready for check-in.

We really enjoyed our time and would definitely return. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped with all that you need. It was great to have a grill and be so close to the Fairmont Orchid. The property manager is excellent. Thank you!
