Nestled in amongst tall oak trees and beautiful stands of bamboo, this home offers the utmost in privacy. With multiple decks and a large swimming pool that is newly resurfaced, 13 Myrtle Lane is the perfect vacation home. Its proximity to the beach, an easy seven-minute walk, is just one of the amenities that makes this house special.
Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the main living area, lots of beach décor and lovely paintings in every room. As you enter the home, to the immediate left, is a bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower combo. Also to the left is a guest bedroom with two twin beds, a slanted high ceiling and a mounted 43” TV. To the right is the laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer.
Straight ahead from the entrance is the open dining room, kitchen and living room. The dining room has a glass topped table that has five chairs plus a bench seat. Off the dining room is a deck that has a round umbrella table with seating for four. There are stairs that lead down to the pool. The kitchen has light blue walls, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar that seats four. The living room is painted a nice light yellow, has a slanted high ceiling, a gray queen sleeper sofa with matching love seat plus two additional chairs and a 55” SMART TV over the fireplace. There are plenty of games, books and puzzles for your family’s entertainment. Behind the living room is the master bedroom with light green walls, a king-sized bed, slanted high ceiling, accent chair and bench seat and 38” SMART TV. The ensuite has an L-shaped double vanity, walk-in shower and jetted soaking tub plus a large walk-in closet. This bedroom has a private deck with two chairs and stairs that lead down to the pool.
On the second floor of the home is another guest bedroom with light green walls, two queen beds, a large closet and mounted 40” Roku TV. The private bathroom has a single vanity and tub/shower combo.
Trees surround two sides of the home offering a wooded view. The backyard has a two-level deck. On the upper level there is a high-top table for two, a patio love seat, two chairs and a Weber grill. A great place for outdoor dining. The lower level has the very inviting pool, three lounge chairs, a patio sectional and a table. A large private deck will be wonderful for sunbathing or viewing the stars at night. Behind the pool is a covered space with ceiling fan, a Tiki-style bar counter with four stools, a ping-pong table and a 40” mounted TV.
There is a separate guest suite with a kitchenette that can be accessed from a stairwell inside the home or from the garage at ground level. The suite has hardwood floors, a king bed, a mounted 50” Roku TV and a shelf under the TV with two stools that could be used as a desk. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker and a sink. The private bathroom has a single vanity with tub/shower combo. To top off this mini-getaway suite, there is a private deck with two chairs that look out to the wooded area.

Location was perfect.the beach was easy to get too and was beautiful and not crowded. We loved the private pool....used it ALOT!! The house was clean and comfortable. Would have liked to have more staples... garbage bags, dishwasher soap , spices. Only had 3 pods and garbage bags for the week for 9 people. The outside pool area needed some cleaning attention. Wasnt guest ready. Did call to have it cleaned up plus only big umbrella was broke. Did report but noone came so we cleaned it up ourselves. We would stay here again. Really liked the location.

We loved this home! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space with open concept family/kitchen/dinning. We had 5 girls celebrating a 50th birthday and each of us had our own bed which was perfect. It was literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to all the restaurants and shopping. The only improvements would be the beds - they are hard, move a lot when rolling over and the pillows are very thin. The upstairs shower did not work but there were three other showers that worked great so we did not call the management company. If we had, I am sure they would have fixed it right away. Check in and check out was super easy. The kitchen was fully stocked and we even had beach towels and beach credit to use on chairs, cooler, eta which was a pleasant surprise. The house was very clean and we loved the beach decor! Overall, a wonderful experience.

Great location and pool. Place was dirty when we arrived, we had to clean and vacuum. Floor was dirty. Could use some new bathroom rugs, linens and pillows. Overall nice place, just needs a good clean and update.

Close to beach and great pool!
Overall we had a great stay in this home. Only gave it four stars on cleanliness as our first Impression when we arrived was of a large trash bin overflowing into the driveway and the pool had not been cleaned. Also, it seems as though the people prior to us had dropped an entire bottle of a horrible smelling cologne in the master bedroom. This was so bad that it completely upended our room arrangements which kind of put a damper on the start of our trip. Al with maintenance was very helpful and tried to go out and get us some air freshener to alleviate the problem but it honestly didn’t start to smell better until the end of our trip. The house is great, beautiful pool and literally a 5 minute walk to the beach with a path directly across the main road from the house. It had everything it needed however the beds were all horribly uncomfortable. With a house as nice as this, the owning management should spring (pun intended) for some new mattresses. Overall would stay here again just based on the location and pool alone.

Great Location!
This property was very clean and accommodated nicely. It was my husband and I visiting with his folks, whom we haven’t seen in well over a year due to COVID. We had way more room than we needed, but we were very cozy/comfortable. We each had a king size bed and our own baths, which is a must when we travel. The kitchen size was perfect for our needs, though we ate out a lot. The pool was an amazing benefit to this property. Unfortunately, Mother Nature only allowed us to use it 1 day, but it was still a bonus. We would definitely rent this property again in the future.

This place is great. There are televisions in every room including outside by the ping pong table. The deck and pool are amazing. There is a large grill. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of room for a family to have private space and to join together for family fun. If you stay here don’t forget to use your discounts on the island. The property management is attentive.

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay! We had a short walk to the beach, close to shops/dinning, and loved the privacy of our pool at the house. Would definitely recommend. Only recommendation I would have is to install a lock on the front door so kids can’t go outside so easily.

Perfect Place for a Relaxing Vacation
Our Stay at 13 Myrtle was exceptional. It was just the right size for our family of 8 (plus infant) and having a pool to ourselves was fabulous. It was a great space to enjoy together time and also to get away alone for a nap. It is just over a mile walk to Coligny area, which made it the perfect location to be out of the way but close enough to the shops and eating spots. Just a few minute walk to the not-so-crowded beach made it that much more enjoyable. When returning to Hilton Head, I would not look into any other rental. Great place!

We had a great time.
It was clean and comfortable. Short walk to the beach. All enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that the dryer did not work when we arrived. We had to pull it away from the wall and unkink the vent before it started working correctly.

Great place & location. See review regarding front door!
The property was amazing! We had plenty of space for our families and our children enjoyed the pool. However, the room with two twin beds is right by the front door. This front door does not lock from the inside! Please be mindful of this if you plan to have young children sleep in this room as we did. I was anxious they could get out! Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The walk to the beach was pretty easy- about 5 or 6 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

The size was perfect! The check-in process couldn’t have been any easier! And the walk to the beach was not only pretty, and was SUPER easy and maybe 5 minutes! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect House for 8-10 People
We were very pleased with our stay. We were in town for my brother-in-laws wedding and we had four couples stay in the house. One couple had to use the two twin bed room but it was no big deal. You have to go through the garage to get into the basement suite, but again...no big deal. The bedrooms were all very separate and private. The living room/kitchen area is outstanding and a perfect size for a group of 8. The pool and deck area is also very nice. The pool is nice sized for Hilton Head. The only downside is that the decking gets VERY hot when under the sun. You will need some sort of slides or flip flops. The pool area is very private. You are almost completely surrounded by bamboo and trees. The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all. There is a beach path directly across Myrtle so you don't have to bike down Forest Beach Drive to get public access. With a bike, you are to the beach in less than 2 minutes (we always get bikes so this is what we did....worth it). Walking is about 7-8 minutes. But the extra walk is worth it when you consider how much you save by staying on the west side of Forest Beach Drive. Parking can be a little tight, but you can comfortably get one car in the garage, and two in the driveway. The house was very clean inside. It's a little dated, but you really can't tell.
We had 4 couples, but this would be a perfect house for 2 couples and 4-6 kids. Or 3 couples and 2-4 kids.

Beautiful, bright home! Plenty of space for a group of 8.
We were ready to move into this house! Four bedrooms and four baths- four adults and four girls had lots of space to spread out, and a large table to gather at. It was a perfect spot. Easy walk to the beach which we had almost to ourselves. We fell in love with Hilton Head and 13 Myrtle!

Great house!
The house is super cute! Fully stocked kitchen, huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable and clean. The pool and decks are absolutely perfect! Private, and plenty of space to hang out. The walk to the beach was only 7 minutes, and it was easy. We felt like we were tucked away and in a quiet area, but everything you need or want is a very short drive away, can even walk it.
We will definitely be back to rent this one again!
