Cozy condo getaway situated in Kimberley BC on Northstar Mountain. Upon entering this recently renovated top floor condo you are welcomed by an open concept layout, hand carved wood features, an impressive stone faced floor to ceiling fireplace and breathtaking views. Home to 1910 sq.ft. of living space including an appreciable upper loft. The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen open to a large dinning space perfect for group dinners, puzzles or game nights. You will also find the master bedroom privately tucked off the back of the condo complete with an ensuite. There is also a second bedroom with a door allowing access into the large, main 4 piece bathroom. The living room is a space that hugs you and screams: relaxation. Cozy up by the gas fireplace, take in the views, read a book and just enjoy your stay. The upper loft space looks down over the main floor and provides an open area with accommodations to sleep including 2 queen beds plus a full bathroom. The rear covered deck is a great space to chill out, BBQ, take it easy in the hot tub and absorb the fantastic view of the Rocky Mountains.
Some of the perks of this location include the access to a ski trail taking you down to the Kimberley Alpine Resort providing a ski in, ski out experience. The vicinity to shopping and the unique activities you can enjoy while walking the Platzl including stopping in at one of the many coffee shops, feeding your sweet tooth at a must-stop candy store, numerous boutiques, eateries and the Kimberley City bakery. All within a 5 minute drive of the condo. You will also find the Spirit Rock Climbing Centre, and other popular activities like taking a train ride on Kimberley’s Underground Mining Railway.
Explore Kimberley no matter the season and discover all the outdoor activities including hiking, nature walks, endless paved biking pathways such as the 40 km Rails to Trails path which connects Kimberley to Cranbrook, Nordic trails, fishing, rafting, and the1,800 acre Kimberley Nature Park for the summer months. Challenge yourself in a round of golf at several championship courses including Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, Kimberley Golf Club, St.Eugene Mission, Cranbrook Golf Club, Wildstone, Shadow Mountain, or the friendly Mission Hills. Great stay at Rod's condo.
Pros:
-The kitchen was fully stocked.
-Upstairs loft slept 2 friends comfortably.
-large hot tub with an unbelievable view
-great location for skiing. Average for golfing.
-very clean
Cons:
-3rd floor location so there were some stairs.... But the 3rd floor location gave the amazing view.
Overall a great stay. Would definitely stay again

the condo was perfect. exceeded our expectations. it was plenty spacious for our large family and exceptionally clean. the ski out to the hill was a little tricky for our young beginner skiers, but otherwise was great. highly recommended.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The scenery is beautiful. The condo is very pretty and comfortable. It was a workout taking our luggage and food up three flights of stairs though. The condo inside had plenty of room for us to mingle or spend time apart. Close to so many activities. The only thing I experienced was the shower in the master suite sprays water if you open the door. So be sure you’re in the shower before you turn it on. Thankfully the water turns warm quickly.
Rod, the owner was very helpful and answered my questions quickly. The highlight was the buck that camped out on the gravel below us.
We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway
The condo was roomy yet cozy and stocked with all the essentials. The view from the balcony was amazing. Check in was super easy and the location was perfect for skiing, hiking and strolling around town. Rod was a wonderful host.

Awesome holiday home
This is the third time we have rented this property … and we will come back again next year. The condo is very well equipped and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were a group of adults but the condo could easily accommodate families as well. We enjoyed golfing in the Kimberley/Cranbrook area every day, and enjoyed cooking, relaxing and hot tubbing at the condo every evening.

Excellent golf getaway condo!
This was the second time we rented this large 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo, and it’s perfect for providing private spaces during this time of Covid. The unit is very clean and well equipped and provided an awesome view across the valley. We golfed every day between Kimberley and Cranbrook and enjoyed coming “home” to relax at the end of the day. When we had any questions, Rod responded within minutes and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!

Home away from home
The property is all, if not more than we anticipated. Very comfortable with plenty of room.. Parking, because of the holiday was a trial. Lots of vehicles parked in the designated areas with no permits. After the weekend it was fine. Not much of a complaint! I might suggest leaving a couple large garbage bags to put recycle in. Our family really appreciated arriving at this beautiful home after a long drive. The view from that balcony - priceless! Thank you for sharing your place and we would definitely come back.

Great Kimberley Getaway
This condo was perfect for our group. It was spacious, clean, fresh and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well set up are we were lacking for nothing. The view across the valley to the .mountains is lovely. We will definitely look to tent this property in the future.

This condo was excellent. The price was very reasonable for how many beds and full bathrooms it has. I have stayed in other units right in this same complex and this one has definitely been the best. Would definitely stay there again.
