On the whole we had a great stay. The decor was amazing.

Absolutely loved the decor and beds and couch so comfortable. I have a really bad back and fibromyalgia but the double bed was a dream.

I didn’t like how the back garden is surrounded on every side by neighbours. Stairs very steep and could do with a hand rail. The oven was very dirty which made cooking anything a choir as it kept smoking badly.

the bedrooms where very dark however decor was lovely ....the step at front door very high it two of us to support my mother into the property......the house was immaculate.....few suggestions I would make put a railing or grab handle at front door....another bannister on stair case. Garden was a sun trap....another suggestion would be a paradol for guests who are older or young children.overall I would give this property 9/10

Such a lovely host and property . Added little extras made it even more special , milk , butter and a bottle of wine . H

Warm and cosy . Homely and decorated with flair.

Nothing . Even the little birdies singing in their nest above the bathroom was a bonus .

Great little find that was perfect for our weekend!

Great location for our stay as a few minutes from where we needed to be. Host was excellent and replied to texts within minutes. Many great touches...bottled water on arrival, tea, coffee, milk, jams, wine. Recommendations for restaurants were visible on the wall as well as nearest stores etc. House was styled really nicely and was very comfortable- Thank you Lu!

Superb

The owner was very helpful and decorated the house for my partners birthday. She left us wine and a birthday cake too which was very kind of her. Had everything we needed .

Very nice, would use again

Located close to the town centre. Easy access to surrounding area.

Stairs were a little steep for less able family members, couldn't hold onto the rail at the top of the stairs.

Very pleased with our stay, couldn't have asked for more!

Lovely holiday house with nice interior design and comfortable, spacious rooms - ideal for our little puppy as well with its safe enclosed back garden. We didn't actually spend much time in the house, but it certainly was a great place to return to after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The location was very convenient to explore Durham, the Dales and the nearby beaches. Finally, the host was very friendly and helpful, checking in on us and providing information ahead of our trip. Overall, very pleased with our stay, couldn't have asked for more!

Enjoyed our stay over. Would have liked to stay longer. Very convenient location, for us.

A beautifully appointed house, with extras, like milk, jam etc in the fridge. Also, a bottle of wine. Bed very comfortable. Lots of quirky features in all rooms.

Loved it

The house was so spacious, and comfortable. The dogs were welcomed and there was a secure outdoor space.

Liked everything but It would have been nice to have somewhere in the bathroom to hang towels.

The location was perfect for our trip. The bottle of milk and wine was a lovely surprise.

The rooms are very dark you needed the lights on most of the time, some brighter bulbs would have been nice especially on the stairs. No mirror in the second bedroom nowhere to do hair or makeup. Also no bin in the bathroom. Step outside is quite high, especially for people with mobility issues. There was a dining table available to use but no chairs to go with it.

Spoke with the host on the check in day, she was very friendly and very helpful - the accommodation itself was absolutely brilliant. Very quirky and very clean.

Nothing at this property could have been better - will definitely be staying again in future.

Great place for an overnight stay, comfortable and spacious.

Lovely to leave tea and coffee but maybe look at the quality, coffee was clumped (? previously damp) and old so not great to drink.

The place was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was perfectly located for visiting friends in the area. Make sure to check out the steam machine brewing company. Great beers and food

A Must Stay at Property. Totally recommended. 10 out of 10

This was an amazing house, beautifully stylish and full of everything you would require facilities wise. Quiet, clean location. Excellent and clear communication with owner Lu. 10 stars 🌟. Will definitely return in near future. Thanks.

A hidden gem, absolutely spot on!

What a fantastic find! We were displaying at Locomotion for the weekend, about 10 mins away. What a lovely little place, clean, tidy and modern decor. A bottle of wine and a box of doughnuts on arrival, we popped the wine in the fridge and forgot oops! Loads of parking, wifi great, Alexa and smart heating controls. Comfy beds, and a clean modern bathroom. We will be booking for next year without a doubt! Lu was great keeping us informed and could apologise enough that the wonderful winter weather had kicked the boiler off before we arrived, soon warmed up though! Thanks Lu, wonderful stop and way better than the Holiday Inn we used last time!

As we say in our part of the world ... nowt! :-)
