About this house rental

Permit RRDP00918-2019 Owner-operated, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom two story condo located within a 5 minute walk to a quiet beach area where locals and nearby homeowners throw down their towels, chairs, and enjoy the sound of the ocean.

Use the provided beach cart to easily load the chairs and boogie boards included with the rental.

After spending time at the beach either collecting shells, fossilized shark’s teeth, or just taking in the peaceful surroundings, you can return to your comfortable and quiet vacation condo for a quick plunge in the pool located just feet from the back porch. If you are a tennis player, your vacation condo is also just a few steps away for a quick game or two.

If you love to cook and feel like cooking on vacation then our well equipped kitchen with new appliances and cookware, Keurig coffee maker, and large expanses of counter space will meet your every need. If you want to head out on the town for lunch or dinner then a couple of my favorite downtown spots are The Green Turtle and The Salty Pelican. This condo was excellent. Well stocked for beach time! Chairs, towels, toys, cooler, beach cart was all provided. Kitchen well stocked. Very clean, comfortable beds. The beach is so close a 2 minute walk, pool was great. I would stay here again! Kathy the owner is very responsive and there are instructions everywhere from how to operate the TVs to the expectation when you leave. We found this all very helpful. This condo was perfect for my 2 kids, myself and my husband. Thanks Kathy!

We love this condo! Always a pleasure to stay here. Ms. Kathy is always communicative and a great host. Two blocks from the beach and many great restaurants are only a short drive away. The week was looking suspect regarding the weather but turned out to be gorgeous! Our fourth year here, and we certainly plan to return.

It is a great location for getting to the GA/FL game in Jacksonville. The only negative was the smoke alarm battery in on of the bedrooms was low, so that kept chirping. Otherwise the place is great. Very convenient to Fernandina and other locations. Well maintained. Nice kitchen.

Overall this was the perfect beach getaway. Very clean, everything is updated and close to the beach. We are a family of 5 and the guest bedroom was perfect for the 3 kids. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The beach home was the perfect size for my children and I. It is a close walk to the beach or there is parking available at the beach if you prefer to drive. Fort Clinch State Park is within two miles. We went on a kayak excursion at Lofton Creek and drove 44 minutes to St Marys Georgia to take a ferry to Cumberland Island. It was the perfect vacation!

Fernandina Shores is the perfect place to stay for a quiet, family-friendly vacation. The home was clean and stocked with absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our beach trip. With limited space in our vehicle, it was nice to know chairs, toys, towels and many other conveniences were included! Access to the beach was super close and the pool was literally 10 steps away from the back door! PERFECT for our children that enjoyed hopping back and forth from the beach to the pool. We can’t wait to come back soon!

This is the 4th time staying here and it never disappoints! Location to the beach just a short walk around the block. Location to Salt life is a nice walk. Fort Clinch is a very nice bike ride away! The condo is always clean and really does have just about everything you would need!

Our family had a wonderful time at Kathy’s condo. It was exceptionally clean and was stocked with everything you could ever need. It was a quick walk to the beach and we used some of the beach chairs, toys, and towels provided. We also went to the pool which was also very clean and conveniently located. It was a quick drive to downtown where we ate at so many great places! We had a few rainy days but made use of Monopoly and some of the other family games that Kathy had in the condo. We loved our stay on Amelia Island and hope to come back again!

We stayed for a month and appreciated the very comfortable beds and convenient location. We felt it was a bit "over-decorated" with fragile nic-nacs. Our 4 year old grandson visited for 10 days with his mom, so we felt compelled to "hide" much of the objects so they wouldn't get broken (nothing was).

Process was very easy. The location was perfect and just a short walk to the beach. The rental was well equipped. Kathy was great with communication and helped us immediately with the digital lock. The location of this VRBO was incredible! Walking distance to the beach (the beach cart, rolling cooler, chairs, and beach towels provided were a great plus). Also close to all the other venues our family chose to meet at during our weekend. The moment I opened the door I felt at home! LR & DR were well furnished with seating for all. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking breakfast and midnight snacks. It was very nice having two full baths (one upstairs the other downstairs) and a laundry room. Ample lighting and mirrors throughout the house for the ladies to apply makeup while the men showered. There were plenty of linens and bath towels for all! I would definitely stay here again. Kathy communicated great prior and during our visit. I would highly recommend!

The place was fine, but they were replacing the roof while we stayed there. Woke up every morning to hammering. A little unsafe with workers throwing material off the roof and nails everywhere. A little cheap not just say the property was unavailable while the work was done.

Awesome condo near the beach (two blocks)! We’ve stayed here the last two years and have loved the condo and the area. The weather was perfect-the water temperature was surprisingly good for time of year as well. Excellent experience!
